00:00 An election court has dismissed a petition to overturn PNR Rep. Hilman Edamzuin in Gombak
00:09 Setia, ensuring his position in the Selangor Assembly.
00:13 In a petition filed by Gombak Setia voter Shafi Omar, he alleged that voters were offered
00:18 Rp 150 as a bribe during the state polls between August 4 and 5.
00:24 In the state polls on August 12, Hilman, a former PKR Youth Deputy Chief, won the Gombak
00:29 Setia seat with 30,299 votes, defeating Barisan Nasional's Mg Zulkarnain Omar Din with
00:36 a slim majority of 58 votes.
00:39 He also defeated independent candidate Salim Ali.
00:42 Hilman was first elected Gombak Setia Assemblyman in 2018, winning the seat on a PKR ticket
00:48 with a majority of 12,399 votes.
00:51 Previously, both Pakatan Harapan and BN were considering filing election petitions to annul
00:57 the results of the Taman Medan, Sungai Kandis, Gombak Setia, and Dangkil State seats where
