00:00Police have rescued 5 children who were under the care of a welfare home reportedly run
00:06by Global Iguan Services and Business Holdings.
00:10In the first case, Inspector General of Police Rasa Rudin Hussain said four siblings aged
00:14between 6 and 11 were rescued in Tapa Perang during Phase 4 of Op Global.
00:21The children had been separated from their father since 2021, he said.
00:27One of the children was the one who was rotated viral on TikTok by a member of the ISPH.
00:41Rasa Rudin said police also rescued a child seen in another viral video, where a man stepped
00:46on him and harshly asked why he was crying.
00:50Both cases are currently being investigated under Section 31 Sub 1 of the Child Act 2001
01:11and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.
01:16No suspects involved have been received for investigation.
