00:00 How do you guys maintain the urgency you played with last week?
00:02 I mean, you said it was just another game, but you guys were really up for that game.
00:05 How do you keep it going?
00:05 >> Keep giving the ball to our playmakers in space.
00:10 I think our guys are doing a great job.
00:13 I think Kyle, I love the game plan this week.
00:15 You know how we were gonna attack them.
00:17 I'm really a fan of that.
00:18 >> What is that?
00:19 >> You can find out on Sunday.
00:20 What 125 kickoff.
00:21 >> Thank you.
00:22 >> Pacific time.
00:23 Good, that's a good question though, Greg.
00:24 >> I'm sorry.
00:25 >> No, I'm just, I've been looking forward to that.
00:27 I think this team has done a really good job of just attacking it one game at a time.
00:31 And while yes, I think six consecutive touchdowns, like hey, wow,
00:34 like what'd you guys do differently?
00:36 We were like eight of 11 on third down.
00:38 We didn't turn the ball over.
00:39 We were on the ball really well.
00:40 Chris McCaffrey's really good at football.
00:41 Those are the things that helped us stay on the field.
00:44 And so we're just gonna try to continue to do that.
00:46 And just try to continue to make it easy on Brock just to be able to just hit us in
00:50 space and let us run.
00:50 >> Okay.
00:51 >> First ever game of the day.
00:53 >> I think that both of us are as confident as he's ever been in an offense.
00:58 >> That's fun.
00:59 >> Since he's been here.
00:59 >> Just not to suggest by any means that you guys haven't had success offensively,
01:02 but has there been points throughout the last five, six years where, man,
01:05 I wish we could match the level of what the defense has put on the field?
01:09 >> I mean, yes and no.
01:13 As an offense, we're always trying our best.
01:15 It's probably one of the most efficient our offense has been.
01:17 Yeah, sure, I feel it.
01:19 I think we ran the, jeez Louise.
01:23 >> My first press conference.
01:24 >> Yeah, what a rookie.
01:25 That's crazy.
01:26 >> [LAUGH] >> Yeah, I mean, I think 2019,
01:29 we were really efficient, run outside zone, stuff like that.
01:33 I think we've just been really clean this year.
01:36 We have a lot of guys.
01:37 I think my number one thing for this year is just we have a veteran offense.
01:41 Iuk's in his fourth year, Devo's, he's in his fifth, sixth year.
01:47 I'm in year seven.
01:48 Guys are just, we've been in the offense, we understand what Kyle wants.
01:52 Kyle knows what our strengths are.
01:53 He does a really good job of putting his players in the best positions to succeed.
01:57 I just feel like once you're in this offense for a while, you understand it.
02:00 There's not so much like, my gosh, I don't remember this.
02:03 These play calls, there's less confusion.
02:05 Everyone's just kind of on it because they've been in it for a while.
02:07 And I think that's one of our main reasons for the efficiency that we're seeing.
02:11 >> I assume there's belief every time you get it that you're gonna score at this point.
02:14 I mean, I've thought that for my whole career.
02:16 >> Well, you want to, but.
02:17 >> [LAUGH] >> No, you gotta believe that you're
02:19 gonna score, otherwise why would you?
02:21 I mean, I think Devo every time he touches the ball thinks that, Iuk, DeJuan.
02:24 And that's just this offense.
02:25 Just everybody's like, all right, give me the ball so I can show everybody that,
02:29 hey, I'm one of those five, six playmakers that's gonna do something crazy.
02:32 >> During this game, it seemed like every time you were in traffic,
02:35 you went like Larry Zombie had two hands on the ball.
02:38 Is that a point of emphasis or
02:39 something you saw in the film this week that they were punching it out?
02:43 Or is it something you didn't have a single hand on?
02:45 >> I just, in my opinion, we were rolling at that point.
02:50 I just didn't want a turnover to be something that was gonna hinder us.
02:53 And in your hostile environment, you just don't want to turn the ball over.
02:57 You don't want to give a crowd any reason to get back in the game.
02:59 So I think our team did a great job of that.
03:01 It's fun too.
03:02 Today we had our ball made and they all emphasized it.
03:04 Our team did a great job of securing it, tucking it.
03:08 It's just something that we emphasized from day one,
03:10 because we feel like if we can stay on the field for the whole time,
03:12 our offense is gonna score a lot of points.
03:13 >> Christian is- >> Last one here.
03:16 >> Projectory.
03:17 Kyle, he's talked a couple times this year about-
03:20 >> Why'd you look at him and said that?
03:21 >> Just trying to clear the paper.
03:24 >> He's talking about you, Christian.
03:27 >> Yeah.
03:28 >> What's up?
03:28 >> Nothing, he's- >> See what I deal with?
03:31 >> That is insecurity.
03:31 >> I have my reasons.
03:33 >> You're okay.
03:34 >> Yeah, but he talked about it too.
03:36 He's just talked about how he's so
03:39 many people walk on or I'm glad to hear that.
03:43 How are we gonna be able to get a little point of view?
03:48 >> Mr. Professional.
03:51 >> Well, I think it's difficult to have that mindset just because if you look
03:55 around the NFL, there's not very many people like me.
03:59 When you look at top players in the game,
04:02 I think a lot of the top players in the game, I don't know if they have that exact
04:05 mindset, but it's their mindset and what is gonna separate you from being yourself.
04:11 I've always talked about is, I think everyone in the NFL is very athletic,
04:15 kind of freaky, and what's gonna separate you is the shoulders up.
04:19 What are you thinking about every single day?
04:21 What's your mindset every day?
04:22 How do you attack every single day?
04:24 Is this, are you going into practice like, my gosh, I have to practice today, or
04:27 is it I get to practice today?
04:29 I think Christian does a great job of everything he does about football is,
04:32 this is a great opportunity, I'm not gonna respond to any second of it.
04:35 You have that mindset every single day at 6 AM when you're in the tubs or
04:40 4 PM when you're going home, whatever time it is, you're just happy to be here.
04:44 I think it's gonna carry you a long way.
04:45 >> Is this the most selfless offense you've been on?
04:50 >> I think, I feel like I've been on a lot of selfless offenses.
04:53 I think that this offense has just had probably the most playmakers on it,
04:57 that and they still are acting the exact same way.
05:01 I think that's what it is.
05:01 I think everyone's like, wow, there's just all these great players and
05:04 no one's complaining when they have only a couple catches,
05:07 they only have a couple touchdowns.
05:08 No one's complaining about that, everyone just wants to win games.
05:11 And the fact that that's what our mindset is,
05:13 you have this talented up in offense, just makes it really fun to be a part of it.
05:16 >> First time or the second time?
05:20 >> Or the third time, we did that last year with them too.
05:22 So we've done that a couple times.
05:24 The fact that it's so close back to back,
05:27 there's a lot of things that worked really well for us.
05:30 There's some things that didn't work well for us.
05:32 So it's just kind of a cat and mouse game of what are they gonna change?
05:35 What are we gonna change?
05:36 Who's gonna change anything at all?
05:37 I find that fascinating, but I think that Seattle's definitely in a place where
05:43 they're gonna give us everything they got.
05:44 And I think it's gonna be a very difficult game every time we play Seattle.
05:47 I played them in year seven, so I played them quite often.
05:50 And I've had really tough games against them.
05:53 I've lost by a lot to them.
05:54 I've won by a lot against them and a lot of tight squeezers.
05:57 And all it is is just how consistent can you be from the first play on and
06:01 who's gonna do right longer?
06:03 And I think that's just every Seattle game that we played against them.
