00:06:45 But 17, was it 17-10, final score?
00:06:48 - I think so, yeah, we won by seven.
00:06:51 Last try was a little shaky,
00:06:53 but it was one of those games where,
00:06:55 I mean, probably the worst slated game on the NFL weekend.
00:06:59 Panthers, Titans, two of the worst teams in the NFL currently.
00:07:02 So it was just more like, hey, you wanna have fun.
00:07:04 You hope for a win.
00:07:05 If you get a loss, it kinda goes towards next season.
00:07:09 But I had this conversation this weekend.
00:07:11 Do you want to win?
00:07:13 Do you want to tank that whole dilemma?
00:07:15 I think that winning this game
00:07:17 versus the Panthers was important.
00:07:18 And then winning the home game against the Texans
00:07:21 when we have our next Oiler showing jerseys.
00:07:24 Those are important games to win.
00:07:25 And if we come out five and 12,
00:07:28 I think that's the win move to next season.
00:07:31 - Why are they important to win?
00:07:33 - The Oilers, I mean, the Texans game
00:07:35 is because there's that whole rivalry
00:07:36 between the Houston Texans and what was the Houston Oilers
00:07:40 and now the Tennessee Titans.
00:07:42 So I think that's important for the rivalry of the AFC South.
00:07:46 So, and that's also another home game.
00:07:48 We play the Colts this weekend, divisional game,
00:07:51 which is always, you know, you wanna win that,
00:07:53 but we go to Miami the following weekend.
00:07:55 - I wanna win that, but we won't.
00:07:57 - Yeah, probably not.
00:07:59 And then we travel to Miami,
00:08:01 one of the better teams in the NFL on prime time.
00:08:04 That would be scary.
00:08:05 I think that's gonna be a tough game, but we'll see.
00:08:09 You know, Will Levis was making good plays yesterday.
00:08:13 It was fun to watch.
00:08:14 There was more people than I expected in Nissan, but.
00:08:17 - So question, I'm just trying to like,
00:08:21 I'm trying to pick your brain.
00:08:23 If as a fan, if you know that you're not going
00:08:26 to make anything in the year,
00:08:28 why would you not kind of be hopeful that they lose?
00:08:34 I know you wanna root for them, but if you know,
00:08:36 like to me, it's like if Rabil was on the hot seat,
00:08:40 which I don't think he is.
00:08:41 He could be, who knows?
00:08:42 I don't know what everybody else is.
00:08:43 - There's been more clamoring about that,
00:08:45 but I think it's a ridiculous statement.
00:08:47 - I know, I think I saw Diana Rossini do,
00:08:49 write an article about how they,
00:08:51 Titans want him around for a long time type of thing.
00:08:53 But if Rave's not on the hot seat
00:08:57 and you're not a good football team
00:08:59 or you're not going to finish very well,
00:09:01 why you, as a fan, why you wouldn't want to just root
00:09:04 for a higher draft pick the next year?
00:09:06 You know what I mean?
00:09:08 So it's like, if you're going to go five and 12,
00:09:09 what's the record right now?
00:09:11 - We're four and seven.
00:09:13 - So why not just hope that they go,
00:09:15 they don't win another game or that they lost to the Panthers?
00:09:18 Not that you're bummed, but you're kind of like,
00:09:19 eh, you know, better draft pick.
00:09:20 - Yeah, I mean, I think on the schedule,
00:09:23 the only game that would have really mattered,
00:09:25 that Panthers game that we just won,
00:09:27 they're the only team that's seated lower than us
00:09:29 that's going to get a higher draft pick.
00:09:30 The rest of these teams winning, I, let's see.
00:09:34 Let's just look up real quick.
00:09:35 All standings.
00:09:39 - Yeah, while you're figuring that whole thing out,
00:09:43 I'll say my piece on this.
00:09:45 Being a first year fan,
00:09:46 I would much rather the Titans lose every game
00:09:50 because I feel like it's going to help the future.
00:09:52 Because there's no like,
00:09:53 there's no moral victories in this league.
00:09:55 And it's like, yeah, this year's going to suck.
00:09:57 We're not going to make the playoffs,
00:09:59 but it'll make it a whole lot better
00:10:00 if you're sitting in that top five space
00:10:04 with room to wiggle, trade back, trade up,
00:10:07 get draft capital, you have a whole bunch of money
00:10:09 in free agency.
00:10:10 The higher your draft pick now
00:10:11 with the money you're going to have,
00:10:13 to me is like, that's where we want to be as a franchise.
00:10:16 Because we see the Texans, they're going to be good.
00:10:19 The Jaguars, they're going to be good.
00:10:21 The Colts are without their quarterback that they drafted
00:10:23 who was playing pretty well.
00:10:24 And they have, what, they're six and five?
00:10:26 Or five and six, one of the two.
00:10:28 So it's like, this division is going to get,
00:10:32 like be one of the most competitive divisions
00:10:34 in the NFL in a hurry.
00:10:35 And if we don't make drastic changes in a hurry,
00:10:38 then it's going to be,
00:10:40 we're going to be sitting at the bottom
00:10:41 of that list for a while.
00:10:42 - Yeah, I think it's a good perspective to have
00:10:44 from that outside, try to like zoom out
00:10:47 and have that third party perspective.
00:10:48 Because at the end of the day,
00:10:48 everybody inside that building,
00:10:49 they're trying to win football games.
00:10:50 Like they're, it's like one of those things too, right?
00:10:52 Like they're inside the box.
00:10:54 Like they're too close to the situation to, you know,
00:10:57 everybody else rooting for a certain thing.
00:10:58 Like if you were this record right now,
00:11:01 and the Texans were with the record
00:11:03 that the Titans have currently,
00:11:04 you would almost want them to win games
00:11:06 because you know you're building and establishing
00:11:08 a new regime with the coaching staff and CJ Stroud.
00:11:13 You want to root for success there
00:11:15 because you're trying to establish something new
00:11:18 'cause he's a first year head coach.
00:11:19 And from the angle where the Titans are currently at,
00:11:22 if you want Vrave to be the guy
00:11:25 and you don't think Vrave's job is in danger,
00:11:27 and you're just looking at how does the logo
00:11:29 get better in the future,
00:11:30 you're almost just like, you know what?
00:11:32 We need these motherfuckers to lose.
00:11:33 We need these dudes to lose out.
00:11:36 So that way we have a better pick in the draft
00:11:39 like for the future.
00:11:39 'Cause there are like different angles to look at it on like,
00:11:41 hey, if we're not going to be in the playoffs,
00:11:42 I hope we all tank.
00:11:44 It's like, there are reasons that you would want
00:11:45 to continue to win,
00:11:46 even if you're going to have a losing season.
00:11:47 And to me, those would be like the stipulations
00:11:49 of like a first year coaching regime,
00:11:52 or you're trying to like establish something new,
00:11:55 or if a coaching staff or people are on the verge
00:11:57 of being fired, like they're trying to do everything
00:11:59 they can to win, if the fan base wants them
00:12:00 to be the head coach.
00:12:01 - I think I disagree.
00:12:03 I think from the standpoint of the Texans,
00:12:05 if the Texans were in the same position
00:12:06 the Titans were right now,
00:12:08 and you have CJ Stroud who has put up crazy numbers
00:12:10 for a rookie who's crushing it,
00:12:12 I think you'd be want to be like, all right,
00:12:13 we know our future is looking bright
00:12:15 'cause our quarterback's good,
00:12:16 we have a new head coach,
00:12:18 and we're going to, we just need more pieces.
00:12:20 That's when you have the more pieces conversation.
00:12:21 The part that scares me about this is,
00:12:24 we saw with the Panthers, them firing Frank Wright
00:12:27 after what, 10 games?
00:12:28 I have no idea how many games he was the head coach.
00:12:30 - Yeah, I think that's insane.
00:12:32 - The second shortest tenure in NFL history.
00:12:34 Like this whole league is based on not having
00:12:37 any patience at all, which scares me for Rable
00:12:39 'cause I would hate for them to lose the rest of these games
00:12:42 and then Amy be like, listen to, let's say the fans get,
00:12:45 you start to lose, you lose all these games,
00:12:46 the fans are going to be clamoring,
00:12:48 they're going to be saying something.
00:12:49 To me, it's like, Rable is the guy.
00:12:52 You just need more pieces.
00:12:53 - I don't think Rable goes on the hot seat,
00:12:55 even if we lose out for the rest of the year.
00:12:57 It'd be a different story next year
00:12:58 if we still have the same issue,
00:12:59 but J-Rob left us in kind of disarray
00:13:03 when all the AJ Brown stuff started.
00:13:05 He's the reason that we've fucked up a lot of stuff.
00:13:07 And I think one, Amy knows that,
00:13:09 and I think our fan base knows that.
00:13:11 Just in like the collective of fans,
00:13:14 I have not even heard whispers
00:13:16 that like people want Rable gone.
00:13:18 I think if Rable leaves, we will be in the biggest state
00:13:21 of turmoil we've been in in the last decade.
00:13:24 So I think moving forward, even if we lose out,
00:13:27 I don't think anyone's pointing fingers at Rable
00:13:28 because he's like had to have these pieces to rebuild
00:13:32 since we've given away like one of the best stars
00:13:35 on our team in the last 30 years.
00:13:38 So I think Rable's good, but really the only reason
00:13:40 I want to win that Houston game is solely
00:13:42 because of the Oilers jerseys and like the rivalry.
00:13:45 - Yeah.
00:13:46 - But I wouldn't be upset if we lose out just from, yeah,
00:13:48 if we have four games and then we, you know,
00:13:50 have a top five draft pick,
00:13:52 and then we've got a lot of cap space
00:13:54 and we just need linemen, I think.
00:13:56 - And I also think where pressure goes too is you keep Vrave
00:13:59 but internally with that staff,
00:14:01 like shaking up something in the staff,
00:14:02 because you're going to have to make,
00:14:04 you would have to make some kind of move.
00:14:06 - I agree with you.
00:14:06 - You gotta make, yes.
00:14:07 - I just don't think it's where they're cutting the head off
00:14:09 with Rable yet.
00:14:10 And I hope they don't ever,
00:14:11 'cause I think he's the best coach in Titans era ever, so.
00:14:15 - It'll be a big off season.
00:14:17 - Yeah.
00:14:18 - It'll be a big off season for Raves for sure.
00:14:19 And you just hope that they put enough pieces together
00:14:21 to where he does enough.
00:14:23 What happens from an assistant?
00:14:26 Are you saying Tim Kelly?
00:14:27 He's gotta go?
00:14:28 - I think pressure goes to there.
00:14:30 Like if you don't have established coordinators
00:14:32 to where Vraves kind of got that resume
00:14:35 and that pedigree of being like, okay,
00:14:37 you don't have to make a move here
00:14:38 'cause he's not like a new rookie head coach.
00:14:41 But if you don't have like the established coordinators
00:14:43 that have like a proven track record,
00:14:45 you've got to kind of like look at that internally.
00:14:47 You know what I mean?
00:14:48 - Yeah.
00:14:49 - Like if you had Fangio or Spags from KC, Spagnola,
00:14:54 who's another big time coordinator?
00:14:58 Biennemi, yeah, an offensive guy.
00:15:00 Like if those guys were in your seats for coordinators,
00:15:02 you would probably lean more looking at the talent mostly.
00:15:06 Like I know Titans fans are looking at the talent,
00:15:08 like the roster for sure,
00:15:09 but also you gotta look at who's like leading this talent.
00:15:12 And if you feel like they're competent enough
00:15:14 to like continue to make progress.
00:15:17 - Yeah, yeah, I agree.
00:15:19 - But yeah, I know you want to offensive lineman,
00:15:22 but after this weekend,
00:15:24 the best guy in this entire draft is Marvin Harrison Jr.
00:15:28 He is--
00:15:30 - Yeah, he's a freak.
00:15:30 - Dude, I--
00:15:31 - Great transition, like let's get into the game.
00:15:34 - I know, I won't say too much about it
00:15:35 'cause there'll be a vlog coming out.
00:15:36 Obviously, three PD against Ohio State,
00:15:39 I believe they're dead.
00:15:40 Like we own Ryan Day, like all of the things.
00:15:43 Like I feel like we're now in a transition
00:15:46 where the last 20 years for Ohio State
00:15:48 being victorious over Michigan,
00:15:51 other than a couple blips here and there,
00:15:52 we have officially flipped the script.
00:15:54 Like this hasn't happened since the '80s,
00:15:56 since the three wins in a row.
00:15:58 And it's the way they won the game.
00:16:00 There were a couple of scary parts.
00:16:01 There was that one drive in the third quarter
00:16:03 where they ran inside zone over and over and over
00:16:07 and they sieved us.
00:16:08 But like JJ played a hell of a game.
00:16:11 I think I caught myself so much not watching the trenches
00:16:15 as much as I was watching Marvin Harrison Jr.
00:16:18 'Cause I know Will Johnson for the most part,
00:16:20 number two for Michigan, was shadowing him.
00:16:22 And I'm thinking, this kid has no idea
00:16:25 but he's making so much money right now.
00:16:27 Especially in the first quarter,
00:16:28 he runs that hitch and he gets right in front of it
00:16:31 and catches it.
00:16:32 - You guys have some, I really like watching you guys
00:16:35 as D-backs, like your corners.
00:16:37 - Bro.
00:16:38 - You guys have some good aggressive corners
00:16:39 and there's nothing I enjoy more than watching like
00:16:42 confident corners go out there and be stingy
00:16:44 and make plays and play aggressive.
00:16:45 - Yeah.
00:16:46 - 'Cause I wanted you guys to lose.
00:16:47 - I know you did.
00:16:48 And it was so obvious.
00:16:50 And the thing, none of that bugged me
00:16:51 until I saw you bet on the Wolverines.
00:16:53 - I know, I know.
00:16:54 - And I was like, God damn it.
00:16:56 He should not be allowed to do this.
00:16:57 That should be void.
00:16:58 Speaking of void, I need to accept that trade
00:17:00 for our fantasy as well.
00:17:01 I still need to do that.
00:17:02 And I will do that.
00:17:03 But dude, watching this game,
00:17:06 it was everything people wanted to be.
00:17:08 Obviously as a fan, you wanted to be a blowout.
00:17:10 You don't want to be scared at the end.
00:17:11 But coming down the last drive,
00:17:13 Tom McCord does that against Notre Dame earlier in the year.
00:17:16 Get the pick while he's facing pressure.
00:17:18 Like, it was awesome.
00:17:20 It was awesome.
00:17:21 - They really--
00:17:22 - Four times went for it on fourth down and got it.
00:17:24 - I know.
00:17:25 - Just nuts.
00:17:26 - I thought you guys were about to go for it
00:17:27 at the end of the game for whatever reason.
00:17:28 I'm thinking, there's no way they're about to go for it.
00:17:31 They lined up for the hard count.
00:17:32 - I thought they might.
00:17:33 I stood up, I was like, they're gonna do it.
00:17:34 I was hoping they would.
00:17:36 That was great.
00:17:37 That was a third, fourth, and one.
00:17:39 That was their third, fourth down conversion.
00:17:41 The first two, they run it right up the middle.
00:17:43 The third one, the tight end just slips out to the side,
00:17:45 gets like a three, four yard gain.
00:17:46 - Ohio State, like that interception
00:17:49 on the second drive really hurt them.
00:17:50 - Killed 'em.
00:17:51 It was, and listen, Ohio State's a lot better this year
00:17:55 than we were last year.
00:17:56 A lot tougher.
00:17:57 - That played--
00:17:58 - Talking about Roman Wilson's touchdown?
00:18:01 They, every touchdown was reviews.
00:18:03 Like--
00:18:05 - Unreal throw.
00:18:05 - Unreal throw.
00:18:07 And dude, I mean, before the game,
00:18:10 Mitch and I were on the sideline
00:18:11 and like, who was the first person to come up?
00:18:14 Trevor Keegan comes up and he's in football mode.
00:18:17 He's like, they're gonna respect us after this.
00:18:20 And he's like, Zach Zinter comes up.
00:18:21 He's like, what are they gonna say after this?
00:18:23 And I'm like, oh, fucking God.
00:18:25 What are they gonna say?
00:18:26 - I love the Keegan face paint too.
00:18:28 - Dude, yeah, the eye shadow,
00:18:29 that he had the mascara on or whatever it was, goes hard.
00:18:32 - Yeah.
00:18:33 - Goes hard.
00:18:33 And dude, I mean, we brought him up,
00:18:34 but Zach Zinter, dude, breaking his leg,
00:18:36 tip and fib, comes back for his senior year.
00:18:38 All-American cat, dude.
00:18:40 I'm pretty sure he was All-American last year
00:18:42 and he was a finalist for all these awards.
00:18:45 - Yeah, that sucks.
00:18:46 - That just sucks, man.
00:18:47 It sucks, but he hit me up, successful surgery.
00:18:51 Went well, Trevor was bummed out.
00:18:54 He called me and he's like, man,
00:18:55 I just, I put some guy in the back of his legs.
00:18:57 It's my fault.
00:18:58 I'm thinking, bro, like that stuff just happens.
00:19:00 Like you can't. - No, it is.
00:19:01 - You can't, you know.
00:19:03 - You get in the blender of like,
00:19:04 just thinking all those little things,
00:19:05 'cause that does suck.
00:19:06 You could tell like, Zinter's a big time leader
00:19:09 the way everybody was kind of standing out there.
00:19:11 - Stadium starts chanting, let's go, Zach.
00:19:14 - Yeah, no, yeah, that sucks, man.
00:19:16 But yeah, did Keegan, did he just go around the eyes?
00:19:21 - Yeah, oh, the eye shadow?
00:19:23 Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was just around the eyes.
00:19:24 - Based on helmet, I was like,
00:19:25 is he going full blackface right now?
00:19:28 - He does it a lot, doesn't he?
00:19:29 - Yeah, he's always got something going on.
00:19:30 That was crazy.
00:19:31 I thought that was a catch at first.
00:19:32 - What's his first name?
00:19:33 - Roman Wilson.
00:19:34 - Roman Wilson, I really liked his postgame presser too,
00:19:37 talking about--
00:19:38 - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:19:40 - Wearing the Louis and all this.
00:19:43 He's like, I'm not the toughest guy in the world,
00:19:44 but you know, he just went into it.
00:19:47 It was awesome.
00:19:48 - I mess with a lot of the players.
00:19:49 I just, yeah, I truly wanted you to go down.
00:19:52 - I know.
00:19:53 And I just, you know what?
00:19:54 I'll just keep fighting truly Michigan.
00:19:56 Truly it's Michigan versus everybody.
00:19:58 - Yeah, yeah.
00:19:58 - It really is, even here.
00:19:59 - I put $500 on the line,
00:20:01 like truly wanting so badly to lose the 500.
00:20:04 I was like, I'm owing four right now on my bets.
00:20:07 The ones that I chose to bet on from my picks.
00:20:09 The other ones are winning.
00:20:10 The ones I'm picking are losing.
00:20:11 I was like, you know what?
00:20:12 Let me switch this pick last minute
00:20:14 and go $500 on Michigan Wolverines,
00:20:16 just hoping that this bad luck continues.
00:20:19 And I was like, I have to do a real,
00:20:21 my real unit amount, $500.
00:20:23 And it just didn't fucking work.
00:20:25 - Yeah, we're that good.
00:20:28 I mean, there is literally zero excuses anymore
00:20:32 for Michigan and their talent.
00:20:36 We have an interim head coach.
00:20:37 The allegations come out around Purdue.
00:20:39 Those are legitimate wins against the schedule
00:20:44 that everybody says was shit, 112.
00:20:46 - Oh, I mean, you guys, hang on, hang on.
00:20:47 You guys played Ohio State.
00:20:48 You beat Ohio State?
00:20:49 Yeah, you beat a good team.
00:20:50 - You beat Penn State.
00:20:52 - Penn State, man, is like they don't have--
00:20:53 - Did you see Aller's stats?
00:20:56 - I watched Aller play the game against Blue.
00:20:58 - He's a bad quarterback,
00:20:59 but they were still a top 10 team.
00:21:01 They're still a top 10 team.
00:21:02 I'm pretty sure they're 10.
00:21:03 - Debatable.
00:21:04 - No, they're still 10.
00:21:05 So it's like, what are we bitching about, boys?
00:21:08 We're the interim head coach.
00:21:10 We're the interim head coach.
00:21:11 - We'll see if y'all get in the college football playoff.
00:21:13 - Yeah, I'll tell you what, on the other side--
00:21:15 - I was nobody to sleep on.
00:21:16 - On the other side, listen, on the other side of it all,
00:21:20 I know I texted Kittle, I was like, what's the bet?
00:21:21 He goes, I'm not betting.
00:21:22 He was not having it.
00:21:24 On the other side, I truly wanted Nebraska to win.
00:21:28 I sat down, I ignored my family for two and a half hours
00:21:32 to watch the most boring game,
00:21:35 for my friend.
00:21:36 - That was a dog fight.
00:21:37 What are you talking about?
00:21:38 - That was a shit show.
00:21:39 That was terrible.
00:21:40 Purdy was crazy.
00:21:44 I texted you, I was like, what is Purdy doing?
00:21:45 He goes, you mean being a beast?
00:21:47 'Cause I think he threw a touchdown.
00:21:48 - 'Cause then he threw a fucking dart down the field.
00:21:52 - Just so fucking boring.
00:21:55 - What's crazy is in these highlights,
00:21:57 it starts out in the second quarter
00:22:00 is the first highlight.
00:22:02 - Dude.
00:22:04 - Just some backyard brawl going on in Lincoln.
00:22:07 - Most big 10 football game imaginable.
00:22:09 - I just could not believe that's how we lost.
00:22:12 You just throw a pick right to old buddy
00:22:16 in the middle of the field.
00:22:18 - Well, we had a good conversation.
00:22:19 I know, like literally, I just had to listen to you
00:22:22 basically begging to the gambling gods
00:22:24 to take your $500 so my team would lose,
00:22:26 strictly so my team loses.
00:22:28 But you had a great point about Nebraska,
00:22:30 is that these seniors so many times
00:22:33 have been in close games and have lost
00:22:34 where that has become the culture.
00:22:36 What?
00:22:37 - That was the one where you texted me
00:22:39 and said, what is Purdy doing?
00:22:40 - I was blown away by that.
00:22:42 These seniors in Nebraska have been through
00:22:44 so many close game losses.
00:22:46 And Iowa, Iowa's the same exact team as Nebraska,
00:22:51 but they have 10 wins.
00:22:53 They have no offense and a pretty good defense.
00:22:56 And they play in the big 10 West.
00:22:58 Like, it's just these little things.
00:23:01 - Yeah, everybody in the big 10 West
00:23:02 is essentially kind of the same,
00:23:03 but Iowa, for whatever reason,
00:23:05 just figures out how to win at the end of the game.
00:23:08 Like, when everybody's trying to decide,
00:23:12 Iowa's the one who steps up and wins 10 games.
00:23:14 I mean, winning 10 games is crazy to me.
00:23:17 Because to me, it's like, yes,
00:23:18 this team is no different than Nebraska, Minnesota, Illinois.
00:23:22 But everybody wondering, like, how can Nebraska just not?
00:23:25 And it's like, yeah, these seniors,
00:23:27 these fifth, fourth, fifth, sixth year guys,
00:23:29 depending on what age they are now,
00:23:31 it's like Nebraska in the last decade,
00:23:35 whenever that second year of Mike Riley, basically,
00:23:37 'cause that's when the losing season started to happen.
00:23:39 It's like, all these guys know is like,
00:23:41 anytime a play doesn't go their way
00:23:44 toward the end of the game or in the second half,
00:23:46 the mindset naturally is,
00:23:49 oh, fuck, we're gonna mess it up again.
00:23:50 And that's been like cultivated over, you know,
00:23:53 almost a decade now.
00:23:55 And so they're trying to figure out
00:23:56 how to kind of turn around
00:23:57 and just learn how to win in tight games.
00:24:00 'Cause you can't beat yourself, like, situationally.
00:24:03 We're blowing a timeout,
00:24:04 or we could just, to save a delay a game,
00:24:06 when it's like, oh, we should've probably
00:24:07 just took a delay a game.
00:24:08 - Yeah.
00:24:10 - But we blow it in situational football,
00:24:12 and that's just like being in tune with the details
00:24:15 when they matter the most.
00:24:16 And right now, Nebraska just hasn't figured out
00:24:19 how to do that.
00:24:19 - Highlights of the game, missed field goals and punts.
00:24:21 It's just this.
00:24:22 - And I can't believe.
00:24:25 Essentially, it was Big Cat in a helmet
00:24:28 at quarterback for Iowa.
00:24:29 - I know.
00:24:31 What was that kid doing?
00:24:33 He's 265 pounds.
00:24:34 - A tank.
00:24:35 - Kids hanging out of his shoulder pads.
00:24:36 - Yeah, yeah.
00:24:38 Right at him.
00:24:41 - Right at him.
00:24:42 - And you know, we've been shuffling around quarterbacks.
00:24:44 Like, it's no secret that we're the most,
00:24:46 we're the worst turnover,
00:24:47 most turnover team in college football.
00:24:49 It's just painful because,
00:24:52 now you look at the season,
00:24:53 and it's a successful season,
00:24:56 when you zoom out and look at Nebraska.
00:24:59 And I'm saying, I'm not, hang on, hang on.
00:25:01 I'm not saying it.
00:25:02 Listen, you know your boy wanted to go nine and three.
00:25:05 - I know.
00:25:06 - Like, to me, we were going bowling.
00:25:07 Like, that is disappointing.
00:25:08 You never, like, somebody was like,
00:25:09 I think I saw Will.
00:25:10 I had to take him on a walk,
00:25:12 and promote Black Friday.
00:25:14 But you look at the season for real,
00:25:17 and we won five games,
00:25:19 but we were five and three going into the last four, right?
00:25:23 Five and three going into the last four.
00:25:24 And those were winnable games.
00:25:25 You hope that you win those.
00:25:26 But Coach Rule's first year,
00:25:28 it's been his best first year
00:25:29 at any program he's been at.
00:25:31 And everybody talks about,
00:25:32 okay, this is gonna be a slow burn.
00:25:33 He's one to three wins in his first year,
00:25:35 then the second year gets better,
00:25:36 and the third year, you're double digit.
00:25:38 Like, I know that's essentially the expectation.
00:25:40 But you come in and win five games in your first year,
00:25:42 like, that is a positive.
00:25:44 We're trending up.
00:25:45 Just the way we fucking lost four close ones
00:25:48 that you should be able to nut out,
00:25:51 that's disappointing.
00:25:52 But when you look at the year as a whole,
00:25:54 it's like, there's some optimism to have
00:25:56 with this new staff.
00:25:58 Because it sucks that we did not go bowling.
00:26:00 Like, we should have went bowling.
00:26:01 Like, that was a failure.
00:26:02 Because we were in position to go bowling
00:26:05 in four very winnable games.
00:26:07 - With a lot of the season in front of you.
00:26:09 - Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:26:10 It wasn't like we were fighting.
00:26:12 It's not like we were three and five,
00:26:14 or four and four,
00:26:15 trying to really look at these last four
00:26:17 and be like, man, if we can just nut out a couple.
00:26:19 Like, we were in a solid position to win
00:26:21 just one more game to go bowling.
00:26:23 So that felt like a failure.
00:26:25 But if you look from the beginning of the year
00:26:27 and zoom out as far out as possible,
00:26:30 it's like, there's optimism with ruling this staff.
00:26:33 - Space X-far.
00:26:34 - Yeah, space X-far.
00:26:35 Like, spend money and I--
00:26:37 - Go sit on Jupiter and then look at it.
00:26:39 Hey, it's not that bad.
00:26:40 - Spend money, let's get recruits,
00:26:42 let's continue to build culture.
00:26:44 Like, I, you know your boy's ready.
00:26:47 I'm already ready for next season.
00:26:49 - If you guys won one more game than you did last year,
00:26:52 that's a positive.
00:26:53 If you guys do that seven years in a row,
00:26:54 you guys are undefeated.
00:26:56 - Say that again?
00:26:57 - So you guys went five and seven.
00:26:59 You won one more game than you did last year.
00:27:02 - So if we just do one game better--
00:27:02 - If you just win one more game every single year,
00:27:05 in seven years, you will be undefeated.
00:27:07 - And I would bet on those odds.
00:27:11 - I'm sure you would.
00:27:14 You fucking--
00:27:15 - But I'm saying, does the base have the patience
00:27:17 for seven years to get the superior dominance
00:27:20 over the college football landscape?
00:27:21 - Yes, yes, because next year you make a bowl game.
00:27:24 The year after that, you have seven wins.
00:27:25 You're in a better bowl game.
00:27:26 Next year, you have eight wins.
00:27:28 Now you're in contention at Big Ten West.
00:27:30 Next year, you have nine wins.
00:27:32 Now you're like, holy shit, is Nebraska back?
00:27:34 The year after that, you have 10 wins.
00:27:36 He's like, oh, we actually are back.
00:27:38 And then 11 wins, and then you go undefeated.
00:27:40 It's like, give him a statue.
00:27:43 - If we only won six wins next year,
00:27:45 and then seven the next year, like,
00:27:46 I'd be hanging by a thread.
00:27:49 - Brother, at this point, like, it's so exhausting.
00:27:53 I don't think you'll ever hang by a thread.
00:27:55 - Just because I do think we can really
00:27:59 take a big jump next year.
00:28:00 - Yeah, I'm--
00:28:03 - We took a jump, we took a big jump.
00:28:05 - A one win, a one win jump.
00:28:07 - Listen, again.
00:28:08 - You guys went from the worst,
00:28:10 the best three and nine team two years ago
00:28:14 to probably the worst five and seven team this year.
00:28:17 - No, I tried looking that up.
00:28:18 We were a zero point differential,
00:28:20 but the year we were the best three win team of all time,
00:28:22 like, we were plus like 63, 60,
00:28:25 we were plus 70 in points.
00:28:28 So I don't think a zero point differential qualifies as,
00:28:30 no, top 10 of all time, top 10,
00:28:33 you know, five loss team of all time.
00:28:34 I think there's a debate there.
00:28:35 - Top 10 worst five and seven team of all time.
00:28:37 - Best five and seven team of all time.
00:28:39 - Brother, no, not even close.
00:28:42 - But if we're, no, worst five and seven team means
00:28:44 we would be, we would have five wins
00:28:47 and have like a massive negative point differential.
00:28:49 - Yeah, but you can look at other stats,
00:28:51 like turnover margin.
00:28:52 It's like, I think Iowa was at one point behind in points.
00:28:56 Like, Iowa's like the worst 10 win team of all time.
00:28:59 - Yeah, during the game there was a stat,
00:29:01 like, I think the best record for a team
00:29:03 that averages 250 yards a game or under,
00:29:06 the best record was two, oh, it was four games,
00:29:08 four wins and they're 10 and two.
00:29:10 - Yeah.
00:29:11 - Iowa's wild.
00:29:12 - Iowa's wild.
00:29:13 - It's just crazy.
00:29:14 - I hope you do not sleepwalk through that game
00:29:16 'cause we need you guys, obviously,
00:29:18 we need you guys in the college football playoff.
00:29:21 Michigan's not even a part of the Big 10 anymore.
00:29:23 We should go the Notre Dame route.
00:29:25 The Big 10 tried to do this bullshit,
00:29:28 this kooky little, we're gonna suspend them for three games
00:29:31 with hopes and prayers that, okay,
00:29:32 this is the hard part of their schedule.
00:29:34 We're gonna put Penn State in front of them.
00:29:35 Hopefully, they take an L there.
00:29:36 Hopefully, they take an L against Ohio State.
00:29:38 And it's truly Michigan, it's the world right now.
00:29:40 It really is.
00:29:41 And it's a perfect reflection of this bus.
00:29:44 The perfect reflection 'cause it's literally,
00:29:46 I've been so positive about all your guys' teams,
00:29:50 except for you, Mitch, you don't have it.
00:29:50 - Taylor, man, you gotta stop with this.
00:29:52 I've been so, so supportive.
00:29:54 - You have not.
00:29:55 - You're me.
00:29:56 - I've wanted you guys to win.
00:29:57 - Taylor, you support, and truly,
00:29:58 I know that you actually want Nebraska to win.
00:30:01 But then when we get to all the other theatrics
00:30:05 on making the shirt and doing the whole
00:30:07 patronizing head pads, like some of the Dave Portnoy stuff,
00:30:09 it's just like, that's where I'm drawing the line.
00:30:12 That's where I gotta stand on business.
00:30:13 I know you want us to win.
00:30:15 - The patronizing head pads were with Big Ev
00:30:17 when he was an Ohio State fan.
00:30:19 And if I'm gonna talk down to an Ohio State fan,
00:30:20 I'm gonna talk down, it's the game,
00:30:22 it's the opportunity to do that.
00:30:23 If I'm making a shirt, and if you're gonna get real tight
00:30:26 about a shirt that was made, well, we can go and look back.
00:30:28 - That's just one example.
00:30:29 - We can go and look back at when we were the first seed,
00:30:31 and you wanna make Bengals t-shirts.
00:30:33 We made those, didn't we?
00:30:34 We make Michigan Honest Again t-shirts.
00:30:38 Well, we made those, didn't we?
00:30:39 - That was after you were pushing
00:30:41 to make Nebraska mediocre, like,
00:30:42 oh, we just need to get you back to mediocre.
00:30:44 - But that's not a negative thing.
00:30:46 Six and six is solid.
00:30:47 You guys would kill for six and six right now.
00:30:48 If you guys would've won that game,
00:30:49 you guys would've been like, "Fuck this."
00:30:50 - This is where it happens, this is where it happens.
00:30:51 - No, I'm truly being honest here.
00:30:54 'Cause yeah, I put the t-shirt up, it's a funny t-shirt.
00:30:57 And it's--
00:30:58 - Hey, look, look, that's, let's check those numbers.
00:31:00 I bet they didn't sell. - I have a quick analysis,
00:31:01 and we sold 30.
00:31:02 - That's low. - Low.
00:31:03 How many Michigan Honest Again shirts did we sell?
00:31:06 - I don't know, probably 40.
00:31:07 - No. (laughs)
00:31:08 - Probably 31.
00:31:09 - We talked about this this morning.
00:31:09 He said, "I think we sold maybe five or 10 of those things."
00:31:12 So what are we talking about?
00:31:13 - That's what my assumption was.
00:31:15 That was an assumption, that's not fact.
00:31:16 - Right, and another good point too,
00:31:18 there was 700 clicks on just that one link,
00:31:21 which brings people to the Barstool store,
00:31:23 which they probably purchased other things also.
00:31:25 So there's that to go off of.
00:31:27 Let's talk about Duke Can.
00:31:28 They have a collection of holiday products
00:31:31 that men actually give the boys something they deserve,
00:31:33 like a big-ass lump of coal soap from Duke Can.
00:31:36 And Duke Can's holiday gifts are made in the USA
00:31:38 by humans, not elves.
00:31:39 These gifts are not going to break the bank,
00:31:43 and are made the perfect gift for your boys,
00:31:44 your father-in-law, or your cousin that you barely see.
00:31:47 We got the big-ass lump of coal soap,
00:31:50 illegally cut pine soap, Rudolph's much-deserved
00:31:53 nightcap soap, and so much more, dude.
00:31:55 Find their holiday soaps and gift sets
00:31:59 at Target, Walmart, or dukecanon.com.
00:32:01 I really have.
00:32:03 I've made comments about Tennessee
00:32:04 that were blown out of proportion,
00:32:06 but I've supported Tennessee.
00:32:07 I've made comments about Alabama being dead,
00:32:09 but when they started coming back, I was happy for G.
00:32:12 I've supported J.P. Hovey on South Carolina,
00:32:17 hoping to God they can make a bowl game.
00:32:18 Please, God, beat them against Clemson.
00:32:20 So what's the issue here?
00:32:22 - Hang on, okay.
00:32:23 - What's the problem, boys?
00:32:24 - Here's your--
00:32:26 - This is a For the Boys brand,
00:32:27 but all I see is one guy sitting in this chair right now
00:32:30 being a fan for the first time,
00:32:31 getting excited about his team,
00:32:33 and his boys want to cut him down at the knees.
00:32:34 So let's go and hear it.
00:32:36 - I guess the question would be,
00:32:39 so just to clarify,
00:32:41 you think you're a first-year fan
00:32:43 and you're very excited about your team winning,
00:32:45 and ultimately you just think everybody on the bus
00:32:47 just wants you to fail just 'cause you're just
00:32:49 being an excited fan and winning?
00:32:51 - No, I think the personality,
00:32:53 when I go at Jack a little bit,
00:32:54 that can feel some type of way.
00:32:55 When I say you guys get beat by a hockey school,
00:32:57 that can feel some type of way.
00:32:59 And the allegations come up,
00:33:00 I defend Michigan that type of way.
00:33:02 - Small devil face too.
00:33:03 - What's that?
00:33:04 - Small devil face too, like losing.
00:33:06 - Yeah, smile, devil face, whatever.
00:33:07 Listen, if you're the only one
00:33:09 that's allowed to chirp on the bird
00:33:10 and I'm not allowed, then we got an issue.
00:33:12 - No, listen, I'm trying to get outside
00:33:17 the me and you thing.
00:33:17 I'm just asking, you just think it's five or six on one.
00:33:21 - When I spout off and say,
00:33:22 Michigan's the best team in college football,
00:33:25 and obviously that's not received very well,
00:33:27 I understand that.
00:33:28 If you guys want to be nasty about it, that's fine.
00:33:30 That's good.
00:33:32 But I truly wanted Nebraska to win that game.
00:33:35 You truly wanted Michigan to lose that game.
00:33:37 - Yeah, I--
00:33:38 - I wanted Tennessee to beat Florida
00:33:39 when we're coming back from Athens.
00:33:41 Truly wanted them to beat Florida.
00:33:43 I wanted Tennessee to be contenders.
00:33:45 I wanted USC to at least make a bowl game.
00:33:49 I wanted the expectation,
00:33:50 whatever the expectation should have been.
00:33:52 I said, Nebraska's gonna be six and six.
00:33:55 So you guys can take the way I'm handling
00:33:57 being a fan a certain way,
00:33:59 but if you really peel back the layers,
00:34:01 I'm still supporting you guys.
00:34:02 Not at the Boston Bowl, I didn't support you guys.
00:34:05 And Jack, we've gotten into it,
00:34:06 but I also, I said Joel Milton's a stud.
00:34:09 He ended up not being one at all.
00:34:11 Hypo's the guy, he is still the guy.
00:34:13 Rattler, that whole talk with JP saying
00:34:16 he's gonna be the steal of the draft,
00:34:17 I don't know about that,
00:34:19 but I smiled and nodded when he said that
00:34:20 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
00:34:22 So what are we doing?
00:34:25 So what are we doing?
00:34:25 Who's really being the bad friends here?
00:34:27 - Listen, no one's trying to point the finger.
00:34:30 We're just trying to ask questions.
00:34:31 - Ask questions.
00:34:32 - Yeah, I asked the question.
00:34:33 I guess if I'm trying to think of it,
00:34:35 every other guy on this bus who has a team,
00:34:37 when they're winning,
00:34:38 I feel like there's a sense of
00:34:41 you're almost happy for the guy
00:34:43 based on the way that they are being fans.
00:34:46 If for whatever reasons we come up with,
00:34:50 if there's a point to where people want you to go down,
00:34:53 at some point maybe it's like
00:34:54 how am I handling myself as a winner?
00:34:57 Because if Nebraska's winning,
00:34:58 I would almost assume that the guys are like,
00:34:59 oh, I'm hype for Will.
00:35:01 When Tennessee's winning, it's like,
00:35:02 we might do stuff to chirp and get 'em riled up,
00:35:04 but I know Jack knows that there's a game that gets played,
00:35:07 but ultimately I'm like, oh yeah, GBO.
00:35:10 Even Garrett, he could be,
00:35:11 sometimes he gets a little high and mighty,
00:35:14 but that's been the best team in the last
00:35:16 however many decades with Alabama.
00:35:18 JP, you want to win, but they're like Nebraska.
00:35:21 We just say we can't fucking win games.
00:35:23 You're in a spot to where,
00:35:25 yeah, you can go about it a certain way
00:35:29 and we still end up rooting for you,
00:35:31 but there are antics along the way
00:35:33 that ultimately create this.
00:35:34 Like yeah, I'm fully aware.
00:35:35 That's why I just come out and say,
00:35:36 I want you to go down.
00:35:38 Because of all the antics that do happen,
00:35:39 I know you ultimately want Nebraska to win.
00:35:42 I know you actually do.
00:35:44 You are kind of rooting for them as well,
00:35:45 and then we have our ball talk conversations,
00:35:48 but then all the other things that go on in the theatrics,
00:35:50 I'm like, I need this dude to go down.
00:35:52 I need a you, I need a Portnoy.
00:35:54 The way I get patted on the head,
00:35:57 the way that type of success goes about
00:36:02 and gets handled, it's like,
00:36:03 oh, you're ready to see them go down.
00:36:06 You want to see them go down.
00:36:07 - Couple of things.
00:36:08 One's an assumption and the other one's a point.
00:36:11 The assumption is if Nebraska was in the position
00:36:14 Michigan is, you would be insufferable.
00:36:16 You would be--
00:36:17 - I don't know that I would be insufferable.
00:36:18 - Maybe the toughest fan to deal with.
00:36:21 Dude, it's tough when you guys lose.
00:36:24 We're spin zoning constantly, constantly.
00:36:27 It's like, all right, that's Will's way of going about it.
00:36:28 I'm going to support the boy
00:36:30 because I hate to see him go down.
00:36:31 Michigan has been put in a position
00:36:33 where everybody's starting to hate him.
00:36:35 So I have to, becoming a fan,
00:36:37 I have to stand up and point out the things
00:36:40 of how great we are and essentially fight the fight
00:36:42 week in and week out as my best friend saying,
00:36:44 you guys deserve the death penalty.
00:36:46 As all the boys are saying, you want me to go down.
00:36:48 It's like, yes, there's a pat on the head,
00:36:52 like a superiority type of fan I am being.
00:36:55 - There's a country club, hoity-toity,
00:36:57 we're better than you.
00:36:58 - But don't do that.
00:36:59 The we're better than you, I'll take that last part.
00:37:01 The we're better than you thing that I have had to adopt
00:37:04 because of how the dominoes have fell.
00:37:06 I am constantly moving and flowing like water
00:37:11 to figure out the best way to promote Michigan.
00:37:14 And the only way right now is to essentially say,
00:37:17 we're better than all of you, take that.
00:37:20 That's really it.
00:37:21 - Yeah.
00:37:22 - And so if it makes enemies, that's fine, but you know.
00:37:25 - The we're better than you and we know it,
00:37:27 that you create the strong core group
00:37:30 that you wanna create, but yeah,
00:37:32 using that method creates enemies,
00:37:34 which they're both sellable.
00:37:36 - Right, but the pat on the head, like listen,
00:37:38 I know Dave's got his way of going about things
00:37:40 and I've adopted a couple of those things,
00:37:41 like patting Big Ev on the head and turning on you,
00:37:44 but it was the Boston Bowl, obviously.
00:37:47 Like I obviously wanted you to lose that game.
00:37:49 So, but other than that, and the one remark I made
00:37:52 in Minnesota, which we've talked about
00:37:54 why I made that remark, 'cause I started to notice,
00:37:56 oh, this is really a one-sided,
00:37:57 both of us being fans of each other's team,
00:38:00 that I've, but I've still said, I want Big Red to win.
00:38:03 I think it's great fan base, I think you guys deserve more.
00:38:05 You guys should be in a bowl game.
00:38:07 But for whatever reason, me being so excited about Michigan
00:38:11 and having to fight the fight the way I have
00:38:13 has turned the boys into, let's hope to God,
00:38:15 Taylor's soul is crushed by his team losing.
00:38:18 - Taylor, you were curious, trying to give feedback,
00:38:21 trying to talk through it all, and
00:38:23 it's essentially like how you look at the feedback.
00:38:27 - Yeah, I got it.
00:38:28 - And you're like, oh, I hear your assumption,
00:38:29 I'm gonna match it with an assumption.
00:38:31 If Nebraska was winning, you'd be insufferable.
00:38:33 - You talk about feedback,
00:38:34 Barstool Survivor is coming out today, correct?
00:38:37 - We wanna end that conversation?
00:38:38 I feel like that was a good conversation.
00:38:40 - Is there anything else that we gotta talk about?
00:38:41 - Any of the boys, like, you know,
00:38:43 is there anything you wanna chime in on, or face on?
00:38:46 - When Michigan won, he was like, that was a good game.
00:38:48 - Look, I'm gonna, like, seriously,
00:38:49 I've said I enjoy the, like, I'm,
00:38:52 the dudes, like, Wilson post-game, Corum,
00:38:55 like, I'm enjoying, like, I was sad for Zach.
00:38:57 It's like, there's a couple games that go on there.
00:39:00 It's like, yeah, they do, they fight their ass off.
00:39:02 Michigan's a tough football team.
00:39:03 - And you see the continuity of the locker room.
00:39:06 - Yeah.
00:39:07 - As the inter goes down, the next play,
00:39:08 there's a run for a touchdown, Blake Corum, 6'5".
00:39:11 - Like, last night, November, oh, actually, it's today,
00:39:13 November 27th, the Daily Dad parable
00:39:17 is about the Harbaugh family.
00:39:19 The, who's got it better than us?
00:39:21 Nobody.
00:39:22 Their old man was going in
00:39:23 'cause they were being loud at nighttime.
00:39:25 They were gonna go in the room
00:39:26 'cause the boys are horse playing around,
00:39:27 getting after each other, being loud.
00:39:30 Dad comes in, but instead of, like, you know,
00:39:33 instead of, like, throwing the hammer down on 'em,
00:39:35 he sees how much fun they're having.
00:39:36 He's like, boys, who's got it better than us?
00:39:39 And they both, like, in sync said,
00:39:40 nobody, Dad, nobody, young kids.
00:39:42 And now that is the theme that Harbaugh cares with.
00:39:45 I learned about that last night.
00:39:46 It's on the Daily Dad, November 27th.
00:39:48 And that was where I was like,
00:39:50 yeah, man, it's cool to see.
00:39:51 It's cool to see some of these elements of Michigan,
00:39:53 these boys band together and come together.
00:39:55 But when it comes to the games and everything else,
00:39:58 it's like, yeah, I need to see 'em go down.
00:40:00 Like, do I think they're gonna compete
00:40:01 in the College Football Playoff?
00:40:02 Probably not.
00:40:03 - Good.
00:40:05 Jack, did you have anything to say?
00:40:07 - No, not really.
00:40:07 I just think Michigan fans, when they're winning,
00:40:09 are extremely loud and proud,
00:40:11 which is fun, as you should be.
00:40:12 And then when y'all lose, you kind of abandon your school,
00:40:15 which has been the case in, like, the early 2000s.
00:40:17 But I'm happy for you guys and hope the best your season.
00:40:21 I have one question.
00:40:22 How did, after all of the shit that went down with Mitch
00:40:26 not being a real Ohio State fan,
00:40:28 how was he not in Ohio State gear for the game?
00:40:30 - Mitch?
00:40:32 - I had Ohio State gear on.
00:40:36 It was underneath. - You were hiding it?
00:40:38 - It was underneath, yes.
00:40:39 - Why were you hiding it?
00:40:40 - Because I felt like being able to go to the game
00:40:45 is a pleasure in itself.
00:40:48 I didn't wanna be disrespectful towards Michigan
00:40:51 and, I mean, Taylor doesn't really matter
00:40:54 because he was in my face the entire game,
00:40:56 so it is what it is.
00:40:57 But to be able to be on the sideline for that game
00:41:00 was really, really cool,
00:41:02 and I didn't wanna be that one dude in Ohio State gear,
00:41:05 kind of giving the bird to all the Michigan people.
00:41:07 So I had it on.
00:41:08 I had my red beanie, the red sweatshirt I had on.
00:41:12 I had a little hints of it.
00:41:14 I had the Ohio State on under it.
00:41:15 I had my gear on, but I just didn't wanna be
00:41:19 sort of disrespectful to Michigan
00:41:21 for allowing us onto the field for it.
00:41:22 So that's the way I was thinking about it.
00:41:24 But I was, Ohio State scored, I got in Taylor's face,
00:41:28 and don't let him tell you
00:41:31 that I was happy that Michigan won.
00:41:33 I was happy that I was able to be there,
00:41:35 and no, I wasn't upset like Evan was,
00:41:38 like Big Ev, after they lost.
00:41:40 I was more disappointed.
00:41:42 You all know I'm not one of those fans
00:41:45 that is gonna let it ruin my day type thing,
00:41:47 but I'm gonna be like, "Aw, damn, they lost."
00:41:50 Michigan, they've had our number
00:41:52 for the third year in a row.
00:41:54 Me being upset about it
00:41:55 isn't gonna change the outcome of it.
00:41:56 I'm disappointed.
00:41:57 It's like, "Ah, our playoff chances are probably over,
00:42:00 "but we're gonna win our bowl game."
00:42:04 That's what it comes down to.
00:42:06 - Why not, when you're on the go over and leave at halftime
00:42:09 to go to the live stream,
00:42:10 why are you not ripping off the shirt
00:42:12 and rocking the Ohio State gear?
00:42:13 - I didn't-- - I understand that.
00:42:17 - It's almost like, anytime we give tickets
00:42:19 to anybody coming to the game
00:42:20 and they're a fan of the other team,
00:42:21 you'd almost set the standard of,
00:42:22 "Hey, I get it, you wanna root for them, which is fine,
00:42:25 "but don't be wearing those colors
00:42:27 "in the family section and everything else."
00:42:30 So I get the gratitude and being like,
00:42:31 "I don't wanna be fully disrespectful.
00:42:33 "I'm gonna wear it underneath,
00:42:34 "kind of wear an off-color, maroon the boys."
00:42:36 You can get 'em on our stories right now.
00:42:38 That sweatshirt, but then why not,
00:42:40 when you leave the grounds,
00:42:42 take it off and start repping Ohio State?
00:42:44 - And also, when we flew in on Friday,
00:42:46 I was like, "Hey, did you bring Ohio State gear?"
00:42:47 And he's like, "Yeah, but I don't know
00:42:49 "if I should wear it."
00:42:50 I was like, "You should."
00:42:51 - I wore it, just not visible.
00:42:54 The reason I didn't take it off at the stream house,
00:43:00 if I'm gonna be completely honest,
00:43:02 I didn't wanna catch any strays from Dave
00:43:04 just being-- - Dave was being wild--
00:43:07 - Obliterating me.
00:43:08 So yeah, I mean, I had my red on
00:43:11 and you were even, Taylor was saying,
00:43:13 yeah, he's an Ohio State fan too.
00:43:15 - Yeah, I brought it up a couple of times,
00:43:16 for Ev actually, I was like, "You have an ally here."
00:43:18 - Yeah, and I just, I mean, I--
00:43:21 - Shelled up.
00:43:21 - I didn't wanna get berated.
00:43:24 - Shelled up.
00:43:25 - I mean, if you wanna say that, go ahead,
00:43:28 but I didn't wanna get berated by Dave.
00:43:30 - It's an honest fear.
00:43:32 (laughing)
00:43:34 - That is so funny, dude, that is so funny.
00:43:37 - Yeah, yeah.
00:43:38 - I mean, yeah, Big Ev just in a hell hole.
00:43:41 - The clip of him riding back to the airport saying,
00:43:43 "I wish I was just into cars, like fixing cars,
00:43:46 "carburetors, engines, whatever they fix."
00:43:48 - And Dave's sitting there-- - Cars never lose.
00:43:50 - Fully face painted, just,
00:43:53 I thought you were gonna say what he said.
00:43:55 - Oh, what did Dave say to you?
00:43:56 - He's like, "Yeah, man, it sucks."
00:43:58 He's like, "I gotta fly to Pasadena, cross-country flight,
00:44:03 "like, sucks, hotel rooms."
00:44:05 - It's just so funny, he's got his face painted,
00:44:07 just kinda sitting there, like,
00:44:09 you doing the whole empathizing, funny thing with Ev.
00:44:12 Like, that is, that's brutal for Ev, man.
00:44:14 Like, that's gotta suck for Ohio State fans
00:44:16 dropping three straight.
00:44:17 And for you to be happy for Michigan is just,
00:44:19 it speaks to the fan base of Ohio State.
00:44:21 - That is not true.
00:44:22 I didn't, what part of that whole part that I just said
00:44:26 made you think that I was happy for Michigan?
00:44:27 - The smile on your face
00:44:28 as we were walking to the tailgate after.
00:44:30 Happy-go-lucky, having a good time,
00:44:32 yeah, it was a great game, wasn't it?
00:44:33 - Hopefully we win the bowl game.
00:44:35 Like, you guys could still be in position
00:44:36 to get in the college football playoff.
00:44:37 - I don't think they do.
00:44:38 - I don't think we are, but no, no, no, no.
00:44:39 - If Alabama would've lost the Iron Bowl,
00:44:41 we gotta go back to-- - Washington would've lost
00:44:42 to Washington State.
00:44:43 We're talking a whole different game right now,
00:44:45 but there's a whole bunch of teams lined up
00:44:47 for the college playoff.
00:44:49 Especially like, Washington, Oregon,
00:44:50 whoever wins that one's gonna be in.
00:44:52 Alabama's gotta play Georgia now.
00:44:54 One of those guys are gonna be in, if not both of them.
00:44:56 And then Florida State squeaks out a win against Florida.
00:44:59 Like, if they go undefeated,
00:45:01 why would they not be allowed in
00:45:03 even though they lost their quarterback?
00:45:04 It's a crazy, crazy deal.
00:45:07 - I know, we need more chaos, bro.
00:45:08 - Well, people are saying like,
00:45:10 oh, this is why we need the 12 game.
00:45:11 It's like, once we get the 12 games,
00:45:12 now we're looking at 13, 14, 15
00:45:14 the same way we're looking at five, six, and seven.
00:45:16 - I don't think so.
00:45:17 I think the discrepancy of like,
00:45:19 we were talking about Penn State being a top 10 team.
00:45:21 Like, the imbalance of talent
00:45:25 once you get to the upper echelon of teams,
00:45:27 like that kinda like, weeks itself out.
00:45:28 I think you, yeah, people might start arguing,
00:45:31 but I mean, there's just, to me,
00:45:33 there'd be no world of a 13-ranked team
00:45:37 upsetting not only the one team,
00:45:39 but then the, you know, what would it be,
00:45:41 the fourth best team.
00:45:43 Like, going on that kinda run, you know what I mean?
00:45:45 It's not like, to me, it's not like the NFL.
00:45:47 - You can see that in the regular season.
00:45:48 Like, you always catch an Ole Miss
00:45:50 being like 15 upsetting up number 14.
00:45:52 - Yeah.
00:45:53 - That's regular season.
00:45:53 Once you get in the playoffs, it's like,
00:45:54 there's no trap games, there's none of that.
00:45:56 Like, you're playing for all of it.
00:45:57 - I can't, like, to me, just how,
00:46:00 like me, I was saying Bama will go in,
00:46:03 I think they'll upset Georgia
00:46:04 and get in the college football playoff,
00:46:06 but that survival win against Auburn
00:46:11 is insane to me.
00:46:13 And should play, like, I get it, rivalry game,
00:46:16 Iron Bowl, that's what everybody tries to claim,
00:46:18 but I mean, those are, that's a tough win
00:46:22 on your strength of schedule.
00:46:25 That was insane.
00:46:30 Auburn, the muffed punt, crazy.
00:46:35 I can't believe that.
00:46:36 - This catch, dude, I can't believe that.
00:46:38 Four has gotta be in a blender.
00:46:39 - 31.
00:46:40 - I like it, fourth and goal from the 31.
00:46:44 - Yeah.
00:46:45 - And then he just sits back there, two man rush.
00:46:49 - Which is wild.
00:46:52 - And my man number four, he's like trying to push,
00:46:56 who was at 17 out of the back of the end zone,
00:46:58 can't do it, and then you just gotta see this man
00:47:00 catch the ball in the corner.
00:47:01 I mean, Milrow, what a throw.
00:47:05 I can't believe they won that game.
00:47:07 - It's crazy.
00:47:08 - I do think Georgia, who do you think wins that game?
00:47:13 I think Georgia beats them.
00:47:14 - I think Georgia does too.
00:47:16 I think Georgia wins.
00:47:17 I think the most interesting game there
00:47:20 is Oregon-Washington.
00:47:22 - Yeah, if Oregon beats Washington,
00:47:23 then you got two win-loss teams there.
00:47:26 If Florida State loses to Clemson,
00:47:28 Florida State is now a win-loss team.
00:47:31 - Yeah, I think everybody's looking.
00:47:34 I think everybody is hoping for the opportunity
00:47:37 for Florida State to lose.
00:47:39 Everybody wants Florida State to lose.
00:47:40 - Yeah, 'cause I just don't think they're actually
00:47:41 one of the top four teams without their quarterback.
00:47:43 - Yeah, you lose your quarterback, yeah.
00:47:44 - But I do understand, I do get,
00:47:46 they should have every right to be in the college football
00:47:49 playoff as an undefeated Florida State team
00:47:51 who just won the ACC championship
00:47:52 without their quarterback against Florida
00:47:55 and the championship game.
00:47:57 Are those teams good?
00:47:58 They're average, but if you're Florida State,
00:48:02 you would be pissed off if you're not getting
00:48:03 in the college football playoff after going undefeated.
00:48:06 - If they go undefeated, they should have the op.
00:48:08 - But I do hope they lose, just because
00:48:10 I don't think they're a top four team.
00:48:11 - Yeah, yeah.
00:48:12 Yeah, but I don't think there's a--
00:48:19 - Who do you think rounds out the college football playoff?
00:48:21 To you.
00:48:22 - I think Georgia, Michigan.
00:48:23 I think Oregon might be Washington.
00:48:31 - Yeah, so Georgia, Michigan, Oregon.
00:48:34 Florida State.
00:48:40 I think Florida State's gonna beat Clemson
00:48:42 and it's gonna piss a lot of people off,
00:48:43 but also you can't take an undefeated team out.
00:48:45 - Louisville, Mitch said they're playing Louisville.
00:48:48 Shows how much we follow the ACC.
00:48:50 I like Georgia, Michigan, Oregon, and Texas.
00:48:53 - That would be awesome.
00:48:55 That would be awesome.
00:48:56 - Be a great mix of teams.
00:48:58 That's a good mix of teams.
00:49:00 - Yeah, what I don't want is Alabama to beat Georgia
00:49:05 and Alabama squeaking to that top four.
00:49:08 - And if Alabama beats Georgia,
00:49:10 I think it becomes Michigan, Oregon, Alabama,
00:49:15 God, I hope it's Texas.
00:49:22 - You don't think Georgia--
00:49:23 - I know, I don't think so either,
00:49:25 but 'cause I think the SEC bias plays into it.
00:49:27 But in my opinion, this SEC championship
00:49:29 should be the extended playoff,
00:49:30 should be an extended playoff game.
00:49:32 You win, you get in.
00:49:33 I don't think you get kind of like a,
00:49:36 you don't get like a rematch type of thing.
00:49:38 - Having Texas in would be cool.
00:49:40 They're playing Oklahoma State.
00:49:41 - Yeah, I'm hoping, yeah.
00:49:44 Texas, Oregon, Michigan,
00:49:45 and then whoever comes out of the SEC championship
00:49:48 is what I'm hoping for.
00:49:49 I think that's a lot, I think that's a good mix.
00:49:51 One from Big 10, one from Big 12, one from SEC,
00:49:55 one from Pac-12, and to me,
00:49:57 all the best teams in those conferences.
00:49:59 - Yeah.
00:49:59 - Last year, they packed 12 too, so.
00:50:02 - Yeah.
00:50:04 Oregon's tough.
00:50:05 - Well, I think Oregon, I think Oregon wins that game.
00:50:09 And yeah, both teams are one loss,
00:50:12 but the way Washington's been winning
00:50:13 these last couple of weeks
00:50:14 with how close their games have been,
00:50:16 and Oregon has just been blowing everybody out.
00:50:19 There's no, like Oregon would definitely get in
00:50:21 over Washington.
00:50:23 - Yeah.
00:50:24 Let's do the shittiest moments segment.
00:50:27 Dude, this is brought to you by Dude Wipes.
00:50:28 Still using your toilet?
00:50:29 You still using your toilet paper, dude?
00:50:31 Drop a TP and pick up Dude Wipes,
00:50:35 the wet, extra large, flushable wipes
00:50:37 that clears instead of smears.
00:50:40 Wiping wet just cleans better than wiping dry.
00:50:42 Get confident, get confidently clean with Dude Wipes.
00:50:45 That gets all of the crap toilet paper leaves behind.
00:50:49 You can pick up Dude Wipes on Amazon or Walmart
00:50:51 and Target nationwide.
00:50:53 Shittiest moment, Will's got one.
00:50:55 - Of the weekend?
00:50:57 - Yeah.
00:50:58 - The one of the weekend?
00:50:58 - The holidays.
00:51:00 - Shittiest moment, shittiest moment, shittiest moment.
00:51:02 I'm rusing this little phase right here,
00:51:08 right now at the moment.
00:51:09 Rusing this little phase to where she wants to dictate
00:51:12 what goes on your head.
00:51:13 And this morning she was getting real pissed
00:51:15 that I had this beanie on,
00:51:18 that I had my sock cap on, the emo sock cap.
00:51:20 And I had to challenge her to a fight.
00:51:23 I had to say, if you want a shot at the title,
00:51:24 you come get it off my head.
00:51:26 If you want it off, come get it off my head.
00:51:28 So the shitty part of that is like,
00:51:31 your toddler daughter, she's just in this little phase.
00:51:34 Like they get in these weird phases.
00:51:35 Like at one point she'd get mad
00:51:38 when mom would have her hair up in a ponytail.
00:51:40 So what are you upset about?
00:51:41 I had to take a video and show her,
00:51:42 hey, you got a ponytail, mom's got a ponytail.
00:51:44 What's the deal?
00:51:45 What's going on right now?
00:51:46 But yeah, she kind of stepped up
00:51:48 and Charles tries to explain it to her.
00:51:50 And I just go, hey, you want a shot at the title,
00:51:52 we'll figure this out quick.
00:51:53 You come get this off my head.
00:51:54 - Come find out little girl.
00:51:55 - You come get this off my head, you want it off.
00:51:56 - You want to put it down, let it move up.
00:51:58 You're not even quick enough.
00:51:59 You don't even got that.
00:52:00 - Yeah, that was my shittiest moment.
00:52:02 What was your--
00:52:03 - What was your shittiest moment of the weekend?
00:52:04 - Dude, it was a good weekend.
00:52:05 - Yeah.
00:52:06 - I mean, we had Thanksgiving over at your house,
00:52:08 which you guys did an awesome job hosting.
00:52:09 Like that was a great time.
00:52:10 That was a great vibe, great food, great atmosphere,
00:52:12 great people, Mitch was over there.
00:52:14 - Mitch's roommate, Val.
00:52:17 - Yeah, obviously people know
00:52:19 that Nebraska loses a shitty moment,
00:52:21 but Saturday was awesome, was a good time.
00:52:23 Had my dad in town all weekend.
00:52:25 We hung up Christmas lights, decorations, got the tree up.
00:52:28 You know, yesterday morning when we went on the coffee run,
00:52:32 we went out on the 12th South,
00:52:33 we're walking around, you know, the real trees
00:52:36 and just kind of walking down the street
00:52:37 and seeing like what Christmas shops.
00:52:38 We went to some holiday market over in Germantown
00:52:43 where they have some shops open.
00:52:45 It was a good weekend, bro.
00:52:46 We had a really good weekend.
00:52:48 - What a time.
00:52:49 - Yeah.
00:52:49 - Good deal.
00:52:50 Taking the shittiest moment
00:52:51 and flipping it into a positive, true Will Confidence style.
00:52:53 Man, that's awesome.
00:52:54 What a weekend for you.
00:52:56 Yeah.
00:52:57 - What was your, do you have a shitty moment?
00:52:58 - This weekend?
00:52:59 - Yeah.
00:53:00 - Oh, my weekend was great.
00:53:02 Zero negative.
00:53:04 Yeah, it was awesome.
00:53:08 - What was it?
00:53:09 - I mean, Thanksgiving was phenomenal.
00:53:11 Good company, good people.
00:53:12 Saw my grandparents for the first time in like seven years.
00:53:15 That was cool too.
00:53:16 My grandpa almost died actually.
00:53:17 He started choking at one point and turned purple.
00:53:20 And he was choking so bad
00:53:21 that I looked at him and I thought, oh fuck.
00:53:23 And I just sat there.
00:53:25 I didn't do it.
00:53:26 I did not do a damn thing.
00:53:27 - Who else didn't do anything?
00:53:28 - And then finally, Bree Chandler didn't do anything.
00:53:30 - Who else?
00:53:31 - You.
00:53:33 - Yeah, I was sitting right there like.
00:53:34 - None of us.
00:53:35 - You saw it?
00:53:36 - Yeah, you came over.
00:53:37 We were dying laughing about it.
00:53:38 You're like, I didn't know what was going on
00:53:39 until everybody was helping him.
00:53:40 - Yeah, but that was like three hours later.
00:53:41 - I'm like sitting on,
00:53:42 I'm like sitting on checking out Twitter.
00:53:44 Like, that's just.
00:53:46 - My grandpa, he's not in great health right now.
00:53:47 Like, he's in a wheelchair.
00:53:48 He's doing his thing.
00:53:49 - You're talking about at the dinner table.
00:53:50 - At the dinner table.
00:53:51 - Okay, my fault, my fault.
00:53:52 - Oh yeah, that was a bit of a deal too.
00:53:53 - Yeah, the couch.
00:53:54 - But at the dinner table, man, he starts choking
00:53:55 and Gene, his wife, my grandmother goes,
00:53:58 you all right?
00:53:59 And he goes, no.
00:54:00 And I'm like, oh fuck, man.
00:54:03 And I look over and he's literally turning purple.
00:54:06 To the point where I'm like,
00:54:08 I don't know how to do the Heimlich,
00:54:09 but I'm gonna be the one to have to do it.
00:54:11 And I'm like, do I cause a scene yet?
00:54:12 Like, when's the time to start the panic?
00:54:14 When do you start panic?
00:54:15 And Bree's sitting there and Bree's like this.
00:54:17 She's sitting at the table.
00:54:18 My grandpa's right here and she's like this.
00:54:20 Looking back and forth,
00:54:22 not making eye contact with anybody else,
00:54:23 like kind of just seeing.
00:54:24 'Cause Bree's like, she's not a nurse,
00:54:27 but she's qualified.
00:54:29 (laughing)
00:54:30 - Yeah, she's something in the medical field.
00:54:32 - She has a pamphlet or something.
00:54:34 And fucking the old man coughs it up, whatever it is.
00:54:38 And he's like catching his breath and he goes,
00:54:41 food's delicious.
00:54:42 And he continues to eat, man.
00:54:43 He just continued to do his thing.
00:54:44 I'm like, all right, grandpa, I see you, man.
00:54:47 Moving.
00:54:48 But yeah, dude, he's ripping that wheelchair right now.
00:54:50 And that's just, it's tough to see.
00:54:51 'Cause it's like, he talks about all the time
00:54:53 whenever we're on the phone.
00:54:54 He's like, I just hate, I can't do anything.
00:54:57 It's getting around.
00:54:58 - He thought the couch was gonna be a good decision.
00:55:00 - Yeah, I hope.
00:55:01 (laughing)
00:55:03 - He had the wheelchair between both couches.
00:55:08 - Listen to how bad a person Will is, dude.
00:55:10 - Hang on, hang on, hang on.
00:55:11 In my defense, I didn't know what was going on until.
00:55:13 - There's no way you didn't know.
00:55:15 There's no way you didn't know.
00:55:16 - I knew it was just.
00:55:18 - Bro, we're in my living room.
00:55:20 We're in my living room.
00:55:21 And like the way my living room was set up
00:55:22 was like an L shape and there's a TV.
00:55:24 And then behind the couches are like four chairs,
00:55:26 like a little sitting area.
00:55:27 And I'm sitting in the back with like Kyle Phillips,
00:55:29 your dad and somebody else.
00:55:31 And my grandpa gets out of his wheelchair
00:55:32 and sits in the chair
00:55:33 and everyone's kind of watching the ball games going on.
00:55:35 - He sits on the couch.
00:55:36 - He sits on the couch, sorry.
00:55:37 Sits on the couch and he's sitting there and he's like,
00:55:39 apparently he tells, I gotta go to the bathroom.
00:55:41 So him and my grandmother are like trying to get him
00:55:44 in the wheelchair.
00:55:45 And Mitch, did you go up to help?
00:55:46 - He knows his buddy.
00:55:47 - Felt it.
00:55:48 - And seeing the look on his face trying to navigate
00:55:49 was so funny too.
00:55:50 - I'm looking over.
00:55:51 - We left and he's like, yo, he was heavy.
00:55:53 Like I was trying to, starting to fall over a little bit.
00:55:55 - Dog.
00:55:56 - Struggling.
00:55:57 - He, so he's got his arms up trying to get over
00:55:59 and he's just struggling, struggling, struggling.
00:56:01 I'm looking like, I gotta get over there.
00:56:03 But then I noticed Will sitting right next to the chair.
00:56:06 He's right next to the chair, literally within arm's length,
00:56:10 within elbow length of Will.
00:56:12 And Will has gone from turning facing the TV
00:56:15 to his shoulders are now turned away from my grandfather,
00:56:18 looking at his phone.
00:56:19 I swear to God, dude.
00:56:21 I swear to God you were doing that shit.
00:56:24 And I look over, I'm like, oh man.
00:56:25 So I walk over and I, you know,
00:56:27 I got him up on the armpits, get the guy over there,
00:56:29 you know, and he's, hey, thanks, Tay.
00:56:31 And then kind of just wheels off into the distance,
00:56:32 show him the, so I walked over and Will and I
00:56:34 said a big laugh of like, yo, you didn't do nothing.
00:56:37 - Yo, that was so funny.
00:56:38 The moment you came over and I heard,
00:56:40 grandpa, you need help.
00:56:41 And I look over and I see three people tag teaming
00:56:43 this thing.
00:56:44 And I think to myself, I have my phone in my hand thinking,
00:56:46 yo, I look like such an asshole sitting here.
00:56:49 With just zero awareness of the situation.
00:56:51 - Oh my God.
00:56:52 - 'Cause at that point it's like, oh fuck,
00:56:54 I'm being an asshole.
00:56:54 But then there's so many people helping.
00:56:56 There's no like, you know, hey, yeah, you need,
00:56:58 but when I heard you come over.
00:57:00 And then after he wheels off to go to the bathroom,
00:57:03 I'm thinking in my head was, why did he get out of the--
00:57:07 - He should have stayed there.
00:57:08 Yeah, he should have stayed.
00:57:09 But literally, it's good you didn't get up
00:57:11 'cause it leaves you up for like,
00:57:13 oh, you guys need help?
00:57:13 No, we got it, Will.
00:57:14 - Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:57:15 - Yeah, for one of those.
00:57:16 And bro, it was great to have him.
00:57:18 - I was worried 'cause I'm thinking,
00:57:19 how's he gonna go to the bathroom?
00:57:20 If he struggles, they needed help to get on the couch.
00:57:23 - Well, I was wheeling him to the back porch area
00:57:26 and I have that little dip that goes down
00:57:28 and I don't get the tires over all the way
00:57:30 and I kind of lean forward and you see him doing the--
00:57:33 - You almost lost him.
00:57:34 - I'm like, yo, I'm about to send this guy down.
00:57:37 So there was a couple of hairy moments at Thanksgiving, man.
00:57:39 But--
00:57:40 - Dude, my dad--
00:57:41 - No bad moments.
00:57:42 - Yeah, that's so funny.
00:57:42 - What did your dad say?
00:57:43 - It reminds me of my dad one time.
00:57:44 Like, he was taking my grandma to get her hair done,
00:57:48 to the hairdresser.
00:57:49 You know how the old ladies, they like to do the whole,
00:57:52 they like to get the perm.
00:57:53 Back in the day, you get the perm, you get it permed up.
00:57:54 - Had that big vacuum thing on top of their head.
00:57:56 - Yeah, my dad's like taking her to the hairdresser.
00:57:58 He doesn't take her, you've seen how the way my dad--
00:58:00 - Operates.
00:58:01 - Yeah, you've seen the way he operates.
00:58:02 So he's in charge of trying to get her into the car
00:58:05 and get her to the hairdresser.
00:58:06 Well, in the front yard, there's like a dip,
00:58:08 like you're explaining, that goes into like,
00:58:10 just a small little hill.
00:58:12 But he's trying to get her like up into the car,
00:58:14 but he thinks like, he got her up.
00:58:16 She's got like one leg up there.
00:58:17 She's trying to like force her way to get up,
00:58:18 like on the seat.
00:58:19 So he walks around to get in the front seat,
00:58:21 thinking everything's all good.
00:58:23 He gets to the front seat.
00:58:24 As he gets in the car, he just hears, "Belle!"
00:58:28 Grandma, she falls out.
00:58:30 She falls out of the car and rolls,
00:58:32 hits the sidewalk and like rolls down.
00:58:37 (laughing)
00:58:40 - What?
00:58:41 (laughing)
00:58:43 - Oh!
00:58:44 (laughing)
00:58:46 Oh, when he told that story,
00:58:51 I mean, we're fucking belly laughing.
00:58:53 Grandma, she lived an awesome life, but man, that was a...
00:58:56 You mentioned the little bump and almost losing her.
00:59:00 It made me think of that story.
00:59:02 - Oh, dude, that story reminded me of something else
00:59:03 that happened at Thanksgiving that was just for me.
00:59:06 I feel like I shouldn't tell the story because I feel bad.
00:59:07 I don't want to feel like I'm talking trash, I'm not.
00:59:10 It was just a situation that came up and it was funny.
00:59:13 But after I get my grandpa down that little,
00:59:16 we get through the hairy little, he might fall forward.
00:59:19 I get him to the gate by my pool and there's a step
00:59:21 and it's dark, there's no lights on.
00:59:23 I'm like, "Grandma."
00:59:24 My grandma's like stepping backwards.
00:59:26 I'm like, "Hey, watch your step."
00:59:27 And she doesn't hear me.
00:59:29 And she like kind of leans back and her foot falls off
00:59:32 and she does the same, "Ah!"
00:59:34 Big scream and is reaching.
00:59:36 And I'm like, "I got the wheelchair here.
00:59:38 "I can't save her."
00:59:39 She catches herself, she was totally fine.
00:59:41 But bro, the mobility is tough.
00:59:45 - Yeah, it does.
00:59:47 Like telling the stories, there's a little bit of that,
00:59:49 "Oh man, I sound blah, blah, blah."
00:59:51 But man, everybody, every family's got their old,
00:59:54 their grandparent's stories.
00:59:56 - Yeah.
00:59:57 Yeah.
01:00:01 There's more grandpa stories in my head.
01:00:03 - I know, we could tell them all.
01:00:05 But let's tell the people first about Body Armor.

01:01:06 Barstool Survivor's out.
01:01:07 We're recording this on Monday,
01:01:08 so the first episode is not officially out,
01:01:10 so I'm not gonna talk a whole lot about it.
01:01:11 I just know I cannot wait to watch that first episode
01:01:14 because it is a wild elimination.
01:01:17 It's one of the most fun games.
01:01:19 We get split up into teams.
01:01:21 I've never been familiar with Survivor.
01:01:23 I've seen it on TV.
01:01:24 I know it's one of the most popular shows of all time
01:01:26 that people love to binge watch.
01:01:27 There's like 20-something seasons out there,
01:01:29 but Barstool has their own version of Survivor.
01:01:31 We're locked in the office all week long.
01:01:34 Cameras everywhere, elimination games,
01:01:36 people get eliminated.
01:01:38 There's a lot of, you feel the rivalries
01:01:41 that are very real in the Barstool world
01:01:43 that I'm sure will be unpacked week after week
01:01:46 when people do reaction shows
01:01:47 or talk about it on Barstool Radio.
01:01:48 I don't know where that's all gonna be,
01:01:50 but I know Barstool Survivor's out,
01:01:52 and you should very much take yourself over to YouTube,
01:01:55 the Barstool Sports YouTube channel.
01:01:57 They're releasing episodes Monday, Tuesday,
01:02:00 Wednesday, every week up until December 13th.
01:02:04 That is when the finale,
01:02:05 where we all figure out who the winner is.
01:02:07 There's a final three,
01:02:09 but everybody's, the rumors are amongst the Barstool OGs
01:02:14 is this will be the most viewed Barstool content of all time.
01:02:17 And being there, I'm telling you,
01:02:19 I cannot wait to see the way they produce this thing
01:02:22 because I think it's gonna be a spectacle.
01:02:25 - You guys don't even know who wins, right?
01:02:26 You have to go back.
01:02:27 - Correct, correct.
01:02:28 We know who the final three is,
01:02:29 but we don't know who wins.
01:02:31 But yeah, I can't wait to watch it.
01:02:34 It's gonna be sick.
01:02:34 - Everything you told me,
01:02:35 it's the, I'm most excited to watch this content
01:02:38 from Barstool than any other content ever.
01:02:40 - Yeah.
01:02:41 - This is gonna be awesome.
01:02:42 - Like all of the OGs, the new,
01:02:44 like you got Rico, Jerry,
01:02:46 like you got Chicago guys, New York guys,
01:02:50 the Boston guys, like new and old combined,
01:02:54 and all of the OGs.
01:02:56 New and old combined,
01:02:57 and all the people who love to argue,
01:02:59 who just are competitive as fuck.
01:03:01 And Tommy Smokes, who's won absolutely every show
01:03:04 known imaginable, all in this show.
01:03:07 It's fun.
01:03:09 It's gonna be fun.
01:03:09 - And Tommy Smokes, he was the number one seed going in?
01:03:12 - Yeah, I mean, everybody like Tommy.
01:03:14 Yeah, Tommy's like that dude.
01:03:15 'Cause he's like, he loves all of the game shows.
01:03:18 Like he knows, he's watched all the Survivors.
01:03:21 He's won like Barstool's like Fear Factor show,
01:03:26 which one's Survivor?
01:03:27 Oh, and not, Bar,
01:03:29 the Outdoors one where they're outside.
01:03:32 - Oh, Barstool.
01:03:34 - Most Dangerous Game.
01:03:35 Yeah, Barstool Most Dangerous Game.
01:03:36 He won the other Barstool Survivor,
01:03:38 the first one they did.
01:03:39 He's won, I don't know,
01:03:40 I think he's won like three or four shows with Barstool.
01:03:42 He's like the guy.
01:03:43 - And who produced that, Jeff D. Lo?
01:03:48 - No, he hosted it.
01:03:49 They have a full on production team.
01:03:50 It's basically the crew who did the,
01:03:53 man, I forget his name.
01:03:54 I hate that I'm not remembering his name.
01:03:55 I don't wanna say it's Ryan, but it might be Ryan.
01:03:58 He did the Chevy shoot at Super Bowl.
01:04:01 - Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
01:04:02 - Like the production team, he's got a,
01:04:03 there's a full team.
01:04:04 I'm talking, there were cameras on us at all times.
01:04:06 Crews running everywhere.
01:04:08 Like it was, yeah, he kind of produced the entire thing.
01:04:11 Shot the entire thing.
01:04:12 Jeff D. Lo is just like the host.
01:04:14 And he crushed it.
01:04:15 Man, it's a lot of fun.
01:04:17 - Did he come up with the concept?
01:04:18 Obviously they're taking it from the show Survivor,
01:04:20 but he came up with the concept.
01:04:21 - Yeah, he does a lot of the,
01:04:22 like writing, like the games and how it's gonna go.
01:04:26 - Just a very talented individual.
01:04:27 - Yeah, he loves that stuff.
01:04:28 He's very good at it.
01:04:30 Should we talk about this Caleb thing?
01:04:31 Talk about the twisted question
01:04:32 and get into the Caleb Presley episode?
01:04:33 - Yeah, so Caleb, obviously he's a boy.
01:04:35 This whole friendship started,
01:04:37 Beast Workouts between you and Caleb, right?
01:04:39 - Yeah, Beast Workout.
01:04:40 He moved to Nashville.
01:04:40 He did a six month stint in Nashville.
01:04:42 He's like testing out spots for us
01:04:44 because he gets to like work remote.
01:04:45 Obviously based on his Sunday conversations,
01:04:47 his network, he's very tight in with a lot of people.
01:04:51 But a stud nonetheless, Beast Club, me, you,
01:04:55 Caleb, and even Beast, Jeff,
01:04:57 who was sitting in the back during this episode.
01:04:59 That's kind of like our crew when they come to Nashville.
01:05:02 But yeah, six month friendship.
01:05:04 We talked about how we were gonna get him on the bus
01:05:06 before he leaves.
01:05:07 That didn't happen.
01:05:08 We talked about how we were gonna get him on during April.
01:05:10 That didn't happen.
01:05:11 Get him on.
01:05:11 We've been trying to get this dude on forever
01:05:14 for due to scheduling.
01:05:15 It just hasn't worked out, but we finally got him on.
01:05:17 It's a fun episode.
01:05:18 Everybody, yeah, we'll get to see the friendship unfold
01:05:22 a little bit.
01:05:23 - Yeah, it's a fun time.
01:05:24 - 'Cause we get to talk about too what was going,
01:05:25 making a lot of noises.
01:05:26 The fake and Caleb's death to Theo Vaughn.
01:05:30 I looked like a real bad guy.
01:05:31 - That'll get cleared up.
01:05:32 That'll get cleared up in the next hour and a half.
01:05:34 - Yeah, yeah, yeah, people love it.
01:05:36 - Yeah, dude, Caleb's glue guy.
01:05:37 Big time, well actually maybe not a glue guy.
01:05:39 He sold this past weekend.
01:05:41 Kind of the glue guy that gets the,
01:05:42 he brings the project together
01:05:44 and then tries to destroy the project also after.
01:05:47 - And has fun watching it unfold, yeah.
01:05:49 - He likes to break the toys apart,
01:05:50 build them back together just to destroy them again.
01:05:51 - Yeah, like he got close and tight in with all of us
01:05:54 and the next thing I know, he's prank calling us
01:05:56 and making us call each other all weekend long.
01:05:59 I had to text Mitch and be like, "Hey, did you call me?"
01:06:01 He goes, "No, I think Caleb did that thing again."
01:06:03 - I think Caleb did that thing again.
01:06:05 - Yeah, he loves chaos.
01:06:07 - Now Shane hates us 'cause of Caleb?
01:06:09 - Yeah.
01:06:09 We got our Bros for Life group chat,
01:06:14 which we talk about in the episode,
01:06:15 but we tried bringing Shane back in because Shane left
01:06:18 because Caleb likes to go out in Notre Dame every week.
01:06:21 And again, Caleb jumped on him.
01:06:25 Shane's like, "I'm done.
01:06:26 "We're done, I'm done."
01:06:28 He's hilarious, Shane's hilarious.
01:06:29 - And it's 'cause Caleb comes on and goes,
01:06:31 "Shane, I was trying to protect you.
01:06:34 "Will and Taylor kept going at you
01:06:35 "during the podcast today in Notre Dame."
01:06:37 - 'Cause Caleb's bored on the drive home after our podcast.
01:06:39 - Literally boredom is the reason why
01:06:41 Caleb has become so destructive.
01:06:43 - Yeah, and he goes,
01:06:44 he texts me and Taylor in a side chat
01:06:45 from the Bros for Life group chat and says,
01:06:49 "Hey, I really need this, guys.
01:06:50 "I'm bored, please play into this with me.
01:06:52 "I'm gonna try and get Shane riled up."
01:06:55 So he's texting with Shane, and he's like,
01:06:59 "Hey, Shane, we just did Bustin' with the boys.
01:07:00 "The boys were trying to come at you a lot,
01:07:01 "but I was defending your honor," type of thing.
01:07:03 And I'm thinking, what a wild way
01:07:05 to kind of just put us behind the eight ball.
01:07:07 So I tried, yeah, I said something.
01:07:10 I don't even know what I said
01:07:12 because I was trying not to,
01:07:13 Shane will like, he'll leave the chat.
01:07:15 You know how Shane is.
01:07:17 And, but I'm like, dude, Shane ends up leaving.
01:07:20 I'm sure it didn't go down the way Caleb hoped it would
01:07:22 to where Shane would banter, go back and forth.
01:07:24 And now we're trying to piece back
01:07:25 the Bros for Life group chat.
01:07:27 - Yeah, Shane has still gone radio silent on the boys.
01:07:31 - Smart on his part.
01:07:32 Like if I'm Shane, I'm leaving that chat too.
01:07:34 - It's good to have a break.
01:07:35 - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
01:07:37 He's just trying to love us from an arm's length.
01:07:39 - Yeah, set a boundary,
01:07:40 and then we'll figure it out as we go.
01:07:42 - Yeah, yeah.
01:07:43 - Yeah.
01:07:44 - 'Cause Shane's the boy, they're both the boys.
01:07:45 - 'Cause I literally was putting my kids down
01:07:48 and I came back an hour later to 30 texts in Bros for Life.
01:07:52 And then 20 texts from Caleb essentially begging me
01:07:55 and Will to keep responding and saying, I need this.
01:07:57 I need this.
01:07:58 I'm O for 40 right now.
01:07:59 - I'm bored, I'm bored in the car.
01:08:01 - He's doing this whole contact list,
01:08:02 trying to just stir up.
01:08:03 - Basically do what he did that night
01:08:04 in the car at Notre Dame, stir everybody up.
01:08:07 Then he went to get JP, then he went to get everybody.
01:08:09 He was like, hey, call me, I wanna talk to you
01:08:11 about pranking somebody.
01:08:12 The next day, I know the next day, I'm getting pranked.
01:08:15 He's making me and Mitch call each other,
01:08:16 me and JP call each other.
01:08:17 Me and Shane went back, I thought I was playing phone tag
01:08:20 with Shane four different times at nine in the morning.
01:08:22 And then I just texted Shane, I was like,
01:08:24 hey, I tried you back, just FYI.
01:08:26 He didn't respond, but then I come to learn
01:08:27 that it's this prank call thing, and I'm like, oh.
01:08:30 - I get a call from JP at 9 a.m.,
01:08:34 and I'm like, hey, what's up?
01:08:35 He's like, nothing, just driving back, what are you doing?
01:08:37 I'm like, I'm just hanging out, dude, what's up?
01:08:39 What do you need?
01:08:40 He goes, you called me.
01:08:41 And I literally was like, I started going through,
01:08:43 like, did I accidentally call him?
01:08:44 Hang up on him eventually, and then two minutes later,
01:08:47 I get a call from Shane.
01:08:48 Answer, I just started laughing, like, what?
01:08:50 And then he hangs up.
01:08:52 - I didn't even hear his voice, I'm saying hello.
01:08:54 - Yeah. - Yo, hello.
01:08:55 All right, can't hear him.
01:08:57 So I just go, hey, Shane, I tried calling you back,
01:08:59 I don't know what the, I don't know what's happening.
01:09:01 Then come to find out, Caleb's playing all of us
01:09:03 like a fiddle.
01:09:04 - So shout out, Caleb, you guys are really gonna
01:09:06 enjoy this podcast.
01:09:06 - Let's get into the Twisted Question of the week.
01:09:11 Twisted Question, let's see what we got here.
01:09:15 - People are gonna come into this,
01:09:17 oh, Caleb pressed on for two hours and 40 minutes.
01:09:20 - What they're gonna find out, though,
01:09:22 is that the Twisted Question is brought to you
01:09:24 by Twisted Tea, the smoothest hard ice tea out there.
01:09:26 Perfect for pool parties, college game days,
01:09:28 keep it twisted with Twisted Tea.
01:09:29 - Perfect for snow parties.
01:09:30 - Snow parties. - Yeah.
01:09:31 - Winter's right around the corner, boys,
01:09:32 gotta have a good time, gotta warm up.
01:09:34 Non-carbureted, 5% ABV, grab a refreshing Twisted Tea
01:09:37 at Ted Day, Mitch, this is literally your thing on Mondays,
01:09:42 besides producing this entire show, this is your thing.
01:09:45 What's the Twisted Question of the week?
01:09:46 - I think I might have a good one this time.
01:09:48 - Oh, famous last words. - I know.
01:09:51 Which of these memories would you rather have
01:09:54 wiped from your mind?
01:09:55 Every TV and movie you've ever seen,
01:09:59 every video game you've ever played,
01:10:02 every song you've ever listened to,
01:10:04 all of your sexual experiences,
01:10:07 or every book you've ever read.
01:10:09 Which one of those would you rather
01:10:12 have your memory wiped of?
01:10:13 - All right, it wouldn't be a Twisted Question
01:10:15 if I didn't ask some questions.
01:10:17 (laughing)
01:10:19 If I'm wiping my sexual memory,
01:10:21 are the person I had sexual relations with
01:10:23 also wiping their memory, or they still remember?
01:10:25 - I'm assuming they probably still remember.
01:10:29 - Unfortunately.
01:10:30 - I know my answer.
01:10:32 - Unfortunately, they have to remember the couple minutes.
01:10:35 - Yeah, you're lucky, couple minutes.
01:10:36 - The grunts. - Good for you.
01:10:38 - You know what I mean. - Heavy breathing in the ear.
01:10:40 - By a couple minutes, I meant 22 seconds.
01:10:43 - What are you doing?
01:10:44 - I'm wiping away all my sexual memory
01:10:48 every time I'm losing my virginity.
01:10:50 - Same.
01:10:51 - Think about it.
01:10:52 - Yeah.
01:10:53 - But also think about--
01:10:54 - You are rocked up every time.
01:10:56 - Yeah, but think about this.
01:10:59 - You got ED, not rocked up every time?
01:11:01 - I'm just saying, you know the times
01:11:04 where you gotta get yourself in the mood.
01:11:07 Think about when you were a virgin.
01:11:10 - Yeah, and that's the only goal.
01:11:10 - This happened once.
01:11:12 - You're shaking.
01:11:13 - Right.
01:11:14 - All these things happening in your body,
01:11:15 it's like, what is going on?
01:11:16 I'm learning about my body.
01:11:17 - Yeah, there's only a few times in your life
01:11:18 where you feel like--
01:11:19 - We've had a good conversation about that before,
01:11:22 but you get to feel that because you don't have
01:11:23 any memory of having sex,
01:11:25 or having any type of sexual intercourse.
01:11:28 - I'm with you.
01:11:29 I think that's awesome.
01:11:30 That was easy.
01:11:31 - Okay, to play devil's advocate.
01:11:34 Like every TV and movie you've ever seen,
01:11:37 now you get to re-watch it again for the first time.
01:11:40 Every song you've ever listened to,
01:11:41 you get to re-listen to it for the first time.
01:11:43 Every video game, Red Dead Redemption 2,
01:11:44 you get to play it all over again.
01:11:47 - The minis to the video game,
01:11:48 I can't take away my experience I had.
01:11:50 Where I was, ACL surgery, playing that game in seven days.
01:11:54 That I would never have that taken from my memory.
01:11:57 I would keep that forever.
01:11:58 - That's the universe working.
01:11:59 - Yeah, it couldn't have gone any better.
01:12:02 My love for Arthur Morgan wouldn't be the same
01:12:04 if it happened in a different way.
01:12:06 The movies thing, our lives revolve so much around quotes.
01:12:10 Remember this movie, remember that movie.
01:12:11 Hey, what about that movie?
01:12:12 To go re-watch all of those things would be crazy.
01:12:15 - And honestly, a lot I'm thinking of too,
01:12:17 is like wiping the movies and stuff
01:12:19 that I saw in high school.
01:12:20 Because the Will Ferrells, the Vince Vaughns,
01:12:22 like that was the majority of my playbook verbally.
01:12:25 So if I didn't have that, I don't know who I am.
01:12:27 - Nothing, you're nobody.
01:12:29 - I guess I could do reading books.
01:12:32 Like you're just wiping away Dr. Seuss books in my head.
01:12:34 My bag's not very deep.
01:12:37 - No, your bag's not deep.
01:12:38 - What about all of those self-motivation?
01:12:41 - I know, I was more of like,
01:12:43 that was a joke that just didn't.
01:12:44 - That's all right.
01:12:45 - The way I wanted it to.
01:12:46 - Gotta keep firing, gotta keep firing.
01:12:47 - I don't read a lot.
01:12:48 I just read a couple like, on the hat.
01:12:50 - I'm the stupid football player.
01:12:51 - Yeah, the dumb football player.
01:12:52 I don't read.
01:12:53 - Oh, Will reads.
01:12:54 (laughing)
01:12:57 - But yeah, that was an easy one.
01:12:58 - Don't you think so, Jack?
01:13:01 Let Jack answer.
01:13:03 - With the music and movies, like with pop culture,
01:13:06 there's so much conversation that revolves around that stuff
01:13:09 that if you're a blank slate,
01:13:11 you might as well just leave the room, like, right?
01:13:14 - Yeah.
01:13:15 - So, and yeah, I'd love to forget some things.
01:13:19 So I'm gonna go with sexual experiences.
01:13:22 - Right.
01:13:23 - I do think Mitch had a point though.
01:13:24 It only happens when you're a man.
01:13:25 So it only happens one time.
01:13:27 So like, you're only a virgin again one time in your mind.
01:13:31 It's not like every single time,
01:13:32 but I'm still on the same team as y'all.
01:13:34 - But if it's erased from your memory,
01:13:36 you don't have the buildup to when you're about to slide,
01:13:41 it's like, oh my God, this is, I've never experienced this.
01:13:46 - Yes.
01:13:47 - You just lose your virginity again.
01:13:48 - Yeah.
01:13:49 - And then you start collecting memories again.
01:13:51 - That's okay.
01:13:52 - Yeah, and I'm fine with that.
01:13:53 - Yeah, I'm all about that.
01:13:54 - But then with like, with Charo.
01:13:56 - You also become an experience though again.
01:14:00 - Watch yourself now.
01:14:00 - But with Charo, when I first meet her,
01:14:02 now it's like, I get to claim virginity
01:14:05 because I don't have any memory of any sexual encounter.
01:14:08 - Right.
01:14:09 - You know what I mean?
01:14:10 - But that goes back into my first question.
01:14:12 Everybody else remembers your sexual encounters
01:14:14 with all the other girls.
01:14:16 So now, I lost my virginity to Charo and there's like,
01:14:19 I don't know, say a bigger dozen.
01:14:21 - Say a bigger dozen out there going, no.
01:14:24 You don't remember this man?
01:14:26 - One other girl out there.
01:14:27 - Or this picture?
01:14:27 You know, there's that one other girl.
01:14:31 - But think about the, hey, but think about your passion
01:14:34 and the hill you're dying on trying to say, no, I haven't.
01:14:36 - Yeah.
01:14:37 - Like, what are you guys talking about?
01:14:38 Yes, this sounds like a well put together story
01:14:40 and kudos to you guys, but here's another negative.
01:14:45 Now you and Charo have been together for so long.
01:14:47 You know the ins and outs of that machine.
01:14:50 You know what buttons to push, when to push them,
01:14:53 how to do things.
01:14:54 You're gonna have to relearn all that.
01:14:56 And--
01:14:56 - I have to do it every time.
01:14:58 - What do you mean?
01:14:59 - I have to relearn it every time it happens.
01:15:01 - Yeah, no, you'll have, yeah, just once,
01:15:04 but repetition, repetition, repetition.
01:15:05 - What do you mean?
01:15:06 - Like you used to brainwive to one time
01:15:09 and then now all the sexual encounters you have,
01:15:11 you remember.
01:15:11 - Yeah, that's what Jack was saying.
01:15:12 It's not like you, every time you have sex,
01:15:14 then you forget about it.
01:15:15 - Ah.
01:15:16 - It's a blank slate right now and then you--
01:15:18 - It would be right now.
01:15:18 - Yes.
01:15:19 - Ah, I'd still do that, 'cause think about it.
01:15:22 - Yeah, no, I'm with you, I'm still with you.
01:15:24 - You get to relearn, retool.
01:15:25 - But trying to save Mitch's bad question,
01:15:27 I'm saying, well, here's some devil advocate things.
01:15:29 - Yeah.
01:15:30 - Right, 'cause now you and Charo go to lay down
01:15:33 and you're like, (laughs)
01:15:36 done, she's like, "Baby, you didn't do the thing."
01:15:37 - Yeah.
01:15:38 - Like what thing?
01:15:39 You don't think I like.
01:15:40 And now you gotta relearn that.
01:15:42 Then she's gotta tell you what to do
01:15:42 and that takes the sexy out of it.
01:15:44 - Right, but at that point you get to talk about,
01:15:47 I don't know what I'm doing anymore
01:15:49 'cause my brain got wiped, like coach me up.
01:15:52 - Show me how to use this.
01:15:53 - Yeah.
01:15:53 - Yeah, no.
01:15:54 - The thing that you hate that I did or used to do
01:15:57 that I tried getting myself out of the hole of,
01:15:59 that's no longer there.
01:16:00 - Right.
01:16:01 - You get to just coach me up from the jump.
01:16:03 - All the weird kinks and the weird things
01:16:04 that you wanted to try, that I wanted to try,
01:16:06 that you didn't wanna do,
01:16:07 now we don't have to try those things.
01:16:09 - Yeah.
01:16:10 - Big wins.
01:16:11 - Yeah.
01:16:11 - I thought that question
01:16:14 was gonna go completely different.
01:16:15 - Was there, before we go to the Kayla Presley podcast,
01:16:18 is there one to save because I do love these questions.
01:16:21 - On Twitter.
01:16:22 - No, most of them honestly suck.
01:16:24 You guys need better questions,
01:16:25 but there was one that's a pretty obvious one.
01:16:30 I gotta find it so I can give credit to this guy,
01:16:32 but it's what element would you control?
01:16:34 Water, wind, fire, earth.
01:16:37 - That's fun.
01:16:39 - What element of the earth would you want to control?
01:16:41 Now, like you're out of trouble.
01:16:42 - Should we save it?
01:16:43 - We can save that.
01:16:44 - Save it, we'll save that one.
01:16:45 - All right, and I'll give the guy the correct shout out.
01:16:48 Next week, can't find it.
01:16:50 - Great question, Mitch.
01:16:51 - So much harder to do that.
01:16:55 - Jack, this is no problem.
01:16:56 - Enjoy.
01:16:57 - Maximilian, my 52, that is his handle.
01:17:02 Thank you, Max Kaiser for doing Mitch's job.
01:17:04 None of us want responsibility.
01:17:10 - Nobody wants it.
01:17:11 - Too damn bad.
01:17:12 - Nobody wants it.
01:17:12 Having a full six days to think about it is hard.
01:17:15 - Yeah.
01:17:16 - I mean, I'm not gonna lie,
01:17:18 I've been thinking about it the whole week for one question.
01:17:20 (laughing)
01:17:21 Right?
01:17:22 - Yeah, having an entire week.
01:17:24 - How many times did you post about Black Friday?
01:17:26 - Once.
01:17:27 - I think I did once in a retweet.
01:17:28 - It was a Friday.
01:17:29 - JP's getting them out of the hole now
01:17:30 'cause they did this $40 thing, which I think is wild.
01:17:34 - Yeah, JP said I have to send somebody
01:17:36 a video of me eating today, so.
01:17:38 - That's funny.
01:17:39 - You have to start your own O.F.
01:17:40 - You're lucky.
01:17:41 - That's what they call that.
01:17:42 - A what?
01:17:43 - Buck bang.
01:17:44 Eat gross amounts of food on camera
01:17:47 with really high intense audio.
01:17:49 Just like you get $40 at McDonald's
01:17:52 and you just fucking gorge yourself
01:17:54 and it's called a muck bang,
01:17:55 which sounds extremely sexual, but--
01:17:58 - A fetish.
01:17:58 - Yeah, there's a whole world on the internet
01:18:02 of muck bangs that you don't,
01:18:03 even dog muck bangs and fucking--
01:18:06 - Jack's going down the wormhole.
01:18:07 - I just know the internet, dog.
01:18:09 I'm out there.
01:18:10 - Atta boy, Jack.
01:18:11 - He's out there, bro.
01:18:12 - You know Jack, dude, no days off.
01:18:13 Titans game with his dad yesterday.
01:18:15 No games off, no days off.
01:18:17 - I don't know what y'all's thinking
01:18:19 about going to the Titans game with my dad and brother.
01:18:21 - No, just do what you want.
01:18:23 - Enjoy the Caleb Presley Tuesday conversation,
01:18:27 bust with the boy, subscribe, rate five stars,
01:18:28 big hugs, tiny kisses, leave comments.
01:18:31 - Insane.
01:18:32 - Caleb Presley.
01:18:33 - We're here, we finally did it.
01:18:34 - We finally got the whale.
01:18:36 - That's mean, dude.
01:18:38 - You owe, I mean, you've been tough.
01:18:39 - I know, dude, we ate so many burritos.
01:18:41 You're fucking fat ass.
01:18:42 (laughing)
01:18:44 - Why do you think it's been so difficult
01:18:46 to come on the show?
01:18:46 - He tried to go back to NFL.
01:18:48 We were eating burritos every day.
01:18:50 We'd go to Boost, we would talk,
01:18:53 and I wasn't saying I was helping.
01:18:54 I was probably the one that was, don't look at me like that.
01:18:56 I was probably not helping
01:18:58 'cause I was just trying to talk and hang out.
01:18:59 We would sit in the sauna
01:19:01 and then go eat two burritos every single morning.
01:19:02 - Right. - For six months.
01:19:03 And I gained 25 pounds.
01:19:04 - Calorie intake doesn't balance out that way.
01:19:06 - And you call me the whale as soon as I get on here.
01:19:08 - The white whale.
01:19:09 - I'm just saying like-- - I know, obviously, white.
01:19:10 - We're so, I mean, Caleb lived here in Nashville
01:19:14 for what, six months?
01:19:15 - Yeah, six months.
01:19:16 - And we would obviously go to Boost every day.
01:19:18 And yeah, your boy, I was trying to get savvy,
01:19:20 get back in the NFL.
01:19:21 The workouts were starting at eight
01:19:24 and we were hitting it off and he's like,
01:19:26 could we come in a little later?
01:19:27 I like my creativity for Sunday conversation flows
01:19:30 in the morning, I like to get up, I'm in my zen.
01:19:32 He's like, I like to work out a little bit later.
01:19:33 So we pushed it to nine, nine became 10.
01:19:36 Then we're just going in.
01:19:38 He would get sick or something.
01:19:39 He'd be like, I just kind of got to get back in it.
01:19:41 So we just--
01:19:41 - I went to the hospital and you told everyone I died.
01:19:44 - That, we have to talk about that.
01:19:47 - I was on a ventilator for six days
01:19:49 and he told everybody I died.
01:19:50 - Okay, explain why you were on the ventilator.
01:19:54 - This is a nuts conversation, like that was a nuts.
01:19:58 - Yeah, it was crazy.
01:19:58 It really was crazy and it wasn't six days.
01:20:00 It was like, I think it was like four or five days.
01:20:02 But I just got a random sickness,
01:20:03 like a random throat sickness.
01:20:06 - Wait, ears, mouth and throat?
01:20:07 What's it called with kids?
01:20:08 Hands, feet and throat?
01:20:09 - Yeah.
01:20:09 - 'Cause you can't burp or throw up or anything, right?
01:20:12 - No.
01:20:14 - Then like when you came out of the womb,
01:20:15 you're like, oh, the doctor told your mom
01:20:16 you had a weak heart.
01:20:17 This might be a, it's a miracle.
01:20:20 (laughing)
01:20:20 - I'm a living miracle.
01:20:21 I'm a living miracle.
01:20:22 - You can't burp or throw up?
01:20:24 - He's got somewhere he got inflamed and he couldn't.
01:20:26 - I got a hernia from, I think it's from playing football
01:20:28 and like doing like heavy squats,
01:20:30 where most people get hernias like sports hernias down here.
01:20:33 I don't know if I'm doing too far.
01:20:34 But my hernia would my stomach pop through my diaphragm.
01:20:38 - What?
01:20:39 - So my stomach popped through my diaphragm.
01:20:42 So I had like part of my stomach up here.
01:20:44 They put it back down, fixed it.
01:20:46 But for the rest of my life,
01:20:48 they're like, you can never throw up again.
01:20:49 - Have you thrown up?
01:20:52 Not once.
01:20:55 Have there been close encounters?
01:20:57 You're like, oh, I might actually throw up here.
01:20:58 I need to reevaluate what's going on.
01:21:00 - With what, my stomach?
01:21:01 - Yeah.
01:21:02 Like if you're about to throw up
01:21:02 or you feel like that feeling, the salvia in the mouth,
01:21:05 it's a little intense and you think, I might throw up.
01:21:06 - Yeah, it's terrible.
01:21:07 Actually, it hurts to throw up really bad.
01:21:10 - Let's go back to this whole fake death thing.
01:21:13 'Cause that got so--
01:21:16 - Blown out of proportion.
01:21:16 - Yes, bro.
01:21:18 It's like, because when Theo,
01:21:19 we were doing the whole thing,
01:21:21 going back and forth with Theo.
01:21:22 I wish he was on the pod.
01:21:23 I know he's wanted to come on like when you were in town.
01:21:25 But Theo was out there like,
01:21:28 well, he faked the death of my friend and stuff like that.
01:21:31 And I just seemed like such a bad guy.
01:21:33 But we were giving Theo crap
01:21:37 because he was going to the LSU game,
01:21:38 which I was supposed to go to that.
01:21:40 I was supposed to go to LSU and like help,
01:21:42 I think promote the sports book at the time
01:21:44 for that weekend.
01:21:45 And I came once I caught wind,
01:21:47 like because he wasn't showing up in the mornings.
01:21:49 I'm like, hey man, like, is everything all right?
01:21:51 Like, where you been at?
01:21:52 He's like, bro, I've been in the hospital.
01:21:53 Like it's a long story.
01:21:54 'Cause he was on a ventilator.
01:21:55 Like he was under, right?
01:21:57 How many, for how long?
01:21:58 - I really can't remember.
01:21:59 I think it was like four or five days I was under.
01:22:00 Like on a ventilator, like intubated.
01:22:02 - Yeah, and then when he's awake,
01:22:03 he's obviously loopy and everything else.
01:22:04 But his mom ends up chiming me in
01:22:06 on him being in the hospital.
01:22:08 So I'm thinking like, I need to go see the boy.
01:22:11 'Cause we were, we were literally,
01:22:12 we eat burritos every day.
01:22:14 Like we're chopping it up.
01:22:15 We're like, you know, talking about different stuff.
01:22:17 I'm always curious how he makes Sunday conversation,
01:22:19 which we'll get into as well.
01:22:20 But it's like, yo, Caleb's like in the hospital.
01:22:22 So I go to the hospital, you know,
01:22:24 try to do the whole friend thing.
01:22:25 And he's talking about this voice message he got from Theo.
01:22:30 And which I think they talked about on Theo's podcast
01:22:33 where he's like, what was his voice message?
01:22:35 Like, dude, don't go out like that.
01:22:36 Don't be a bitch.
01:22:37 Don't let them, don't let them put you on a ventilator.
01:22:40 - I can't even remember, to be honest with you.
01:22:41 - But it was like- - He said something about,
01:22:43 he said, oh, this is what happened.
01:22:44 I was under.
01:22:45 So like, I'm getting texts.
01:22:47 People are finding out while I'm under that I'm sick.
01:22:49 And so people have texted my phone.
01:22:51 So my mom's going through all my messages
01:22:52 and she knows I'm good friends with Theo.
01:22:54 And he sent a voice message.
01:22:56 - And it's hilarious.
01:22:57 - So she was showing me pictures
01:22:58 of like my best friend's kids.
01:23:01 Like things that make me happy.
01:23:02 'Cause I'm like kind of like there.
01:23:03 I don't remember it, but like, I was like enough
01:23:04 where they were just trying to like show me.
01:23:08 - Like Caleb's like laughing and almost you're like,
01:23:09 hey, let's stop being funny 'cause he was like hurting.
01:23:12 - She heard this voice message from Theo
01:23:14 and she's thinking that he's gonna be like,
01:23:15 hey man, I heard you're sick.
01:23:17 It's gonna like make me happy.
01:23:18 And he's like, I can't remember exactly what he said.
01:23:19 He's like, bro, quit being a pussy.
01:23:21 Either take the trach or pull the plug,
01:23:24 make a decision, like rip that ventilator off,
01:23:27 walk out of the hospital.
01:23:28 - And your mom's listening to this
01:23:29 while basically holding up to your-
01:23:30 - Well, that's what it was.
01:23:31 So you remind me.
01:23:32 - But that's what it was.
01:23:33 So when you have the ventilator in,
01:23:34 I guess it's like a thing where you can't,
01:23:36 they strap you down because you can't pull it
01:23:39 out of your mouth because your natural reaction
01:23:40 is to pull it out of your mouth.
01:23:41 So they sedate you to the point where you won't pull it
01:23:44 out of your mouth 'cause it's your natural reaction.
01:23:46 So he was like, pull that shit out of your mouth,
01:23:48 be a man, walk out of that thing.
01:23:50 And my mom was playing it for the doctors and everything.
01:23:52 And that's, all right, now you go.
01:23:54 - Yeah, and so Caleb and I, we're sitting there,
01:23:55 like we're laughing, like you're trying to have like a good,
01:23:57 like the boy was down.
01:23:59 And so we're kind of laughing about the,
01:24:00 and we're legitimately like belly laughing about it.
01:24:03 And I had the idea, we were talking about it.
01:24:06 I was like, yo, we should tell Theo,
01:24:08 since he sent that voice message,
01:24:10 go back and say, hey, Caleb, he ripped it out.
01:24:13 He ripped the ventilator out.
01:24:14 He ripped the cord out.
01:24:15 Like he passed away.
01:24:16 - Will did, he's like, Will's like, he did it.
01:24:18 Like he listened to your voice messages and he did it.
01:24:20 He's dead.
01:24:21 - Oh shit.
01:24:22 And I tried sending him,
01:24:23 right when I sent the message that he's gone.
01:24:25 Yeah, right when I sent the message that he's gone,
01:24:28 I was trying to send the photo of him,
01:24:31 thumbs up in the hospital bed, but he was in the air.
01:24:34 So he didn't get the, he didn't see the joke.
01:24:36 - Laying there and suffocated is the last thing.
01:24:38 - Yeah, I said, yeah, yeah.
01:24:39 Here's the text right here, bro.
01:24:40 Did you hear about Caleb?
01:24:41 Have you talked to anyone today?
01:24:43 He passed away.
01:24:44 You're lying, bro, bro.
01:24:46 Are you fucking with me?
01:24:47 I said, I'm absolutely gutted.
01:24:48 Apparently some guy told him to rip a tube
01:24:50 out of the ventilator
01:24:51 and nobody could get back to him in time.
01:24:53 He's like, what?
01:24:54 I said, lay there, lay there.
01:24:57 - You were on one for this.
01:24:58 - Yeah, lay there.
01:24:58 - Suffocated.
01:24:59 - Suffocated.
01:25:01 - And Theo's getting on a flight.
01:25:02 - Theo said he's sitting in first class
01:25:04 and he's talking about it.
01:25:04 And he's like, man, I'm crying.
01:25:06 I'm crying on the flight.
01:25:07 But I'm thinking like he'd put it together.
01:25:09 He's the one who sent the voice message.
01:25:10 Cause I'm like, some guy told him to rip the ventilator out.
01:25:12 He did and we have to, we have to piece it together.
01:25:15 He's like, yo, what an asshole.
01:25:16 We're going back and forth, kind of having fun.
01:25:18 But it got blown up to where, yo,
01:25:19 we'll fake this death of his friend.
01:25:21 But we were trying to be funny with it
01:25:22 because we're like laughing at the time.
01:25:24 But you know, that's how it all went down.
01:25:26 - That is insane.
01:25:27 You were out four or five days.
01:25:29 - It was insane.
01:25:30 It was just a random infection.
01:25:32 It was at a time, like it was like last year.
01:25:33 So they're still thinking about COVID.
01:25:35 So I went in there, they tested me for COVID.
01:25:36 I didn't have it.
01:25:37 They're like, we don't know what else it could be.
01:25:38 (laughing)
01:25:40 - But they had to put you under.
01:25:44 They said, hey, we're going to put you under.
01:25:46 - They told me that I could get a trach
01:25:48 that could wait a couple of hours and see if it got better.
01:25:51 But if it doesn't get better, I'm going to get a trach,
01:25:53 which is the thing where the--
01:25:54 - Yeah, they cut your throat open and stuff it down.
01:25:55 - I was like, let's just do the other option.
01:25:57 (laughing)
01:25:59 Yeah, let's do the other one.
01:26:00 - Yeah, no, but that was wild
01:26:01 because he obviously travels a lot for Sunday Conversation.
01:26:03 So like when we're kind of planning out our days
01:26:05 and everything else, we're kind of like trying to coordinate
01:26:07 you know, when he's going to be in town,
01:26:09 when we can do this, when we do,
01:26:10 'cause when he's out of town, I'm like, okay,
01:26:11 I can go in and like work out
01:26:13 and actually try and you know, get back.
01:26:15 You know what I'm saying?
01:26:15 - Okay.
01:26:16 (laughing)
01:26:17 - Hey, it was nuts.
01:26:18 - We saw the picture.
01:26:19 - When I started joining that crew,
01:26:20 it was, your process was wild.
01:26:23 I would watch you come in and stretch for a little bit
01:26:26 and then you'd walk over and say something
01:26:27 while still kind of body stretching
01:26:28 and then you'd walk away for an hour.
01:26:30 And you'd be like, where you at?
01:26:31 He's like, oh, I'm in the sauna.
01:26:32 - But you were trying to work out so hard.
01:26:34 (laughing)
01:26:36 Bro, and we had a good thing going.
01:26:39 - Caleb even gave Caleb--
01:26:40 - We had a good thing going.
01:26:41 - We had a good thing going and you came in,
01:26:42 act like you own the gym, trying to bench press.
01:26:45 - Oh, don't do that, bro.
01:26:47 Literally, I remember like--
01:26:48 - The first time you picked up a bit,
01:26:49 you picked up like a 70 pound weight
01:26:50 and we had not done that.
01:26:51 We were still working out.
01:26:52 We were actually working out
01:26:53 but we were just doing light weight.
01:26:54 - Light stuff.
01:26:55 We were trying to get our backs right too.
01:26:56 - Like knees over toes type.
01:26:58 - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
01:26:59 And Caleb's like, you know what?
01:27:00 My back's kind of fucked up too.
01:27:01 And so I'm doing, you know how I was doing those exercises
01:27:03 where I'm doing those things like to activate.
01:27:06 And he's like, I'm gonna do this stuff with you too.
01:27:07 And it did get to where we do that.
01:27:09 We'd hit the assault bike for conditioning
01:27:11 and go sit in the sauna.
01:27:12 And then as the Falcons called in,
01:27:14 I was trying to get back in
01:27:15 when the whole stretching on the thing,
01:27:16 he's like, hey, I get it.
01:27:17 Like you gotta go a little bit harder now.
01:27:18 But that shit was so funny.
01:27:21 - I'm not kidding.
01:27:22 We worked out every day for six months.
01:27:24 And in that time I gained 25 pounds of fat.
01:27:27 - But are you seeing the receipts of what's happening here?
01:27:30 You just got in the sauna
01:27:31 and then ate two burritos every single day.
01:27:32 - And then he'd go do Sunday conversation
01:27:34 and then come back and be like,
01:27:35 hey, I'm kind of, you know, I need to recover.
01:27:37 I need to get back into it.
01:27:38 And then you get to where he had to leave again.
01:27:40 Then he'd come back and be like,
01:27:41 hey, I gotta kind of get back in.
01:27:42 - Caleb's the type of guy that says,
01:27:43 like has a tough weekend and goes,
01:27:45 I have to listen to my body here.
01:27:46 - Yes, yes.
01:27:48 One time he sent a text like,
01:27:49 hey, I'm gonna come in a little later.
01:27:50 My body's not, it's a little off.
01:27:52 - I gotta listen to this.
01:27:53 You know, when you're a fine tool machine like me,
01:27:55 I gotta figure it all out.
01:27:57 - Yeah, that's so true.
01:27:58 I am that guy.
01:27:59 (all laughing)
01:28:01 That's me.
01:28:05 - Dude, and from there, like, you know, Shane Gillis,
01:28:07 we got the Rocker crew going out to Notre Dame.
01:28:09 Like that time.
01:28:10 - That was one of the most fun weekends ever.
01:28:12 - Dude, I just listened to,
01:28:14 I know you guys are trying to tee up the story,
01:28:15 but I just listened to The Rock on Joe Rogan's podcast.
01:28:19 And Joe Rogan and The Rock are talking about
01:28:22 how they're working out with Shane
01:28:23 and a couple other guys.
01:28:24 And Joe and The Rock are talking about Shane,
01:28:26 like he's, he played college football.
01:28:29 Like he's definitely been in a weight room
01:28:30 probably for 18 years of his life.
01:28:32 And they're like, we're just trying to teach him
01:28:34 how to like pick up the weights and like not overdo it.
01:28:37 And not like, they're trying to teach him
01:28:38 about what it means to lift weights.
01:28:40 Like, dude, he played college football.
01:28:41 - Yeah, bro, Joe's talking about him
01:28:43 like he's their coach, like of their father.
01:28:44 Like, you know, I'm trying to get him back into it.
01:28:46 - He's talking about like he's--
01:28:47 - Yeah, pushups, air squats.
01:28:48 - Like, and he goes, today was a little hard for him.
01:28:50 We hit the heavy bag, like, you know,
01:28:51 they were a little in over their head.
01:28:53 And I was laughing, I ended up hitting up Shane.
01:28:55 - I was feeling bad for Shane.
01:28:56 I was like, man, they were really talking,
01:28:57 making him sound like he can't do anything.
01:29:00 (laughing)
01:29:01 - Yeah, like anything physical at all.
01:29:03 - They made it sound like he was,
01:29:04 this was the first time he'd ever been in a weight room.
01:29:05 He played college football.
01:29:07 So he probably, when he was like six years old,
01:29:09 all he cared about was football
01:29:10 for probably like 10 years straight.
01:29:11 - Especially a Pennsylvania boy.
01:29:12 - Yeah, anyways.
01:29:14 - Dude, he said Joe gets after it too.
01:29:16 Like he's like, we'll be on the heavy bag,
01:29:17 we'll be on the heavy bag.
01:29:18 Ah, ah!
01:29:19 Throwing kicks.
01:29:20 And you've seen the videos of Joe throwing kicks.
01:29:22 - Yeah.
01:29:22 - I mean, he's a trained.
01:29:24 - But that's also like textbooks,
01:29:25 something that Shane would say,
01:29:26 I can be like, this is lame.
01:29:27 - I know, but Shane's feeling good about it.
01:29:29 He like, and he's enjoys it.
01:29:30 'Cause I did like, whenever I was talking to him,
01:29:32 I was ready for him.
01:29:33 Like if he heard that, like, that's the part
01:29:35 where it's like, Shane's like, you know,
01:29:37 would make fun of working hard and everything else.
01:29:39 But no, he's like, he says he feels really good
01:29:41 doing all this stuff with Joe.
01:29:42 He says every time they come back,
01:29:43 they have their little squad.
01:29:44 But I was thinking the same thing.
01:29:45 Like when they were talking about,
01:29:46 I'm like, man, they're just like,
01:29:47 kind of patting them on the head.
01:29:48 Like, you know, I'm trying to get them.
01:29:50 We're starting with lunges.
01:29:51 We're learning how the body moves.
01:29:52 I'm going to have them start sweeping first,
01:29:53 just so they can feel the body mechanics.
01:29:55 - From other? - Sweeping?
01:29:56 - Yeah, like when you're a little kid, like there's.
01:29:58 - Yeah.
01:29:59 My favorite part though, about Joe,
01:30:00 like, you know how, I'm assuming you guys
01:30:01 listen to Rogan a lot.
01:30:03 - Oh yeah.
01:30:03 - Like, you know, he tells the same stories over and over,
01:30:05 but he has new guests and he actually does a good job
01:30:07 because he like, makes it seem fresh.
01:30:09 But he always has like the same stories he'll tell.
01:30:12 But his new story he tells is like,
01:30:13 I was gambling with Dana White,
01:30:15 Will Compton and Taylor Lewin.
01:30:17 Or Taylor, I don't know how he says her name.
01:30:19 It's not how you post it.
01:30:20 - Yeah, Taylor Lewin.
01:30:21 - And he's told it to like,
01:30:22 he told the thing he told to The Rock.
01:30:23 (laughing)
01:30:24 He tells it to like every guest now.
01:30:25 He's like, I was with Taylor Lewin, Will Compton,
01:30:27 and we were gambling.
01:30:28 Like you guys are his best friends.
01:30:30 - That was a wild experience.
01:30:32 That was a top five experience.
01:30:33 - Yeah.
01:30:34 - The whole thing, Shane's show and all that.
01:30:35 - And we just had Dana on too,
01:30:37 and we were talking about.
01:30:38 - Will was roasting you this morning.
01:30:39 He was like, dude,
01:30:40 well, Taylor won't stop talking about gambling.
01:30:43 We're trying to do our podcast.
01:30:44 I was like, which one?
01:30:45 He's like, the NFL pick show.
01:30:47 - Wait, what?
01:30:49 - I was like, so you don't.
01:30:50 - He's working through this right now.
01:30:52 That's so bad for Taylor.
01:30:52 - You want Taylor to stop talking about gambling
01:30:55 so you guys can do the NFL pick show?
01:30:57 - That doesn't even make sense.
01:31:00 - I know, that's why I thought it was funny.
01:31:02 (laughing)
01:31:03 - Hey, stop talking about gambling.
01:31:06 Mine is six and a half.
01:31:07 (laughing)
01:31:10 - I was like, boy.
01:31:11 He's like, hey, so what was the whole
01:31:13 Dana coming back, the whole movie thing?
01:31:14 I was like, Taylor won back the five.
01:31:15 I go, Taylor might be the luckiest man in the world.
01:31:18 He's probably gambled in Vegas eight times.
01:31:20 He's won big seven of those eight.
01:31:23 - Yeah, that was a wild experience.
01:31:25 I told that story on the podcast that came out last week.
01:31:27 It was wild.
01:31:29 Steve will do it.
01:31:30 You know Steve will do it?
01:31:31 - No.
01:31:31 - He's a part of the Nuck Boys or whatever.
01:31:33 - What's that?
01:31:34 - He's a YouTube channel.
01:31:37 - You're on Sunday Conversation right now.
01:31:39 - No, I know the story.
01:31:40 - You told me.
01:31:40 - You literally already told me.
01:31:41 We talked on the phone and you told it to me.
01:31:43 - Oh shit, you're right.
01:31:44 - I called you, I said what happened?
01:31:45 You told me the facts.
01:31:46 - Yeah, you're right, absolutely.
01:31:47 Yeah, so that happened.
01:31:48 - I'm being a bad guy.
01:31:49 - It was the craziest shit ever.
01:31:50 - I know you're teeing things up
01:31:51 for them to make sense in context.
01:31:52 - But this is why we had you on.
01:31:53 This is why we had you on.
01:31:54 This is beautiful.
01:31:55 - This is perfect.
01:31:56 This shows the friendship that's came about
01:31:58 within the last year.
01:31:59 And we've tried getting you on.
01:32:02 You're like, oh, I'll come to,
01:32:03 I'll be back in April.
01:32:06 I'm gonna come back all the time.
01:32:07 Never come back.
01:32:08 Like, oh, I'll come back in April.
01:32:09 I'll come to your daughter's birthday.
01:32:11 That fell through.
01:32:11 We try to plan all these different times to come back.
01:32:13 Now we're finally, we finally get the boy on the podcast.
01:32:16 - Yeah, that's true.
01:32:18 - What do we talk about next?
01:32:23 Oh, hey, I got one.
01:32:24 - Hey, any more of Notre Dame?
01:32:25 - Yes. - The weekend?
01:32:26 - Yes, 'cause I think the video that he said
01:32:29 actually started to go viral on TikTok,
01:32:30 we need to get that back out in the wave.
01:32:32 - Yeah, permission, I mean, it's already out, but.
01:32:35 - Permission granted.
01:32:35 - Yeah, what happened with that video was Shane,
01:32:38 I didn't see the video.
01:32:39 I remember being there, but I didn't see what the video was.
01:32:41 And I was roasting him over Notre Dame sucking.
01:32:44 And then he was like, I'm putting the video out.
01:32:45 So I thought he was doing like a retribution
01:32:48 or like an attack on me because I was attacking him.
01:32:51 So I was like, the video must be really bad.
01:32:52 So I was like, do not put it out.
01:32:54 'Cause I was out of game, so I couldn't watch it.
01:32:55 - Right, you were, you chose to become the enemy
01:32:58 that weekend for whatever reason.
01:33:00 And in our group chat, you still, every week,
01:33:02 just randomly.
01:33:03 - Caleb's the king at getting it going.
01:33:06 'Cause once you get in a blender with Caleb,
01:33:09 you can't really get out of it because he's a magician.
01:33:11 Once you're down in the blender,
01:33:12 and he's like Shane's kryptonite.
01:33:14 So he'll just send a text like, hey, Notre Dame, huh?
01:33:16 And Shane just snowballs.
01:33:19 But that night when we were in the--
01:33:20 - But he gets actually mad, like really--
01:33:22 - Legitimately mad, he loves it.
01:33:24 He loves Notre Dame.
01:33:25 - Yeah, it's because he went, no, his dad went to, no.
01:33:30 - No, I don't think he's, remember--
01:33:32 - Why is he a fan of Notre Dame, huh?
01:33:34 (laughing)
01:33:35 - Hey, remember we were talking to his dad, Phil.
01:33:38 Shout out, Phil.
01:33:39 But we were trying to talk him into,
01:33:40 if Peyton Manning went to come coach
01:33:42 the Notre Dame Irish tomorrow,
01:33:44 would you take him over Marcus Freeman?
01:33:45 He's like, no, no.
01:33:48 And Caleb and I were trying to explain
01:33:49 why Peyton Manning would be a much better option
01:33:51 than Marcus Freeman.
01:33:52 We're not shitting on Marcus Freeman,
01:33:53 but we're trying to get him riled up about Notre Dame.
01:33:57 - I was doing it to his dad,
01:33:58 I basically was drinking it under his skin.
01:33:59 - Yeah, and that night when we're driving back
01:34:01 after the Notre Dame, Ohio State game,
01:34:03 we're all in the car, like it's late.
01:34:05 You know, we've been having a fun weekend.
01:34:07 We had this Airbnb, we're playing basketball,
01:34:09 we're doing all the fun stuff, we're heading back,
01:34:11 and Notre Dame loses, so Shane is legitimately upset.
01:34:15 - Not just loses, but loses in the way they lost.
01:34:17 10 guys in the field on defense, last play of the game.
01:34:20 They were gonna storm the field,
01:34:21 I was walking back onto the field,
01:34:22 and there was security on the thing going,
01:34:24 kids are gonna storm the field, everyone get ready,
01:34:26 'cause kids are gonna storm the field.
01:34:26 And Ohio State goes down and wins the game.
01:34:28 - Shane was down bad, and Caleb were driving back,
01:34:31 and Caleb's like, man, this is a boring ride back,
01:34:33 I need to get this thing going.
01:34:34 - Yeah. - So he starts chiming in,
01:34:36 trying to like get everyone,
01:34:37 gets any individual stirred up.
01:34:40 Shane and I go out, 'cause the Taco Bell drive-thru
01:34:42 was long as shit, so we had to go to the restroom.
01:34:44 So we end up going out, going outside,
01:34:46 going to the bathroom, we come back,
01:34:48 Caleb moves from the back seat to the front seat,
01:34:49 where Shane was, takes shotgun,
01:34:51 and it was like a peak,
01:34:54 it was a peak good bro high school argument.
01:34:57 Shane was like pissed that Caleb's in the front seat.
01:34:59 He's like, why you gotta do this, man?
01:35:01 And Caleb's just sitting there like, I'm not moving.
01:35:03 I'm not fucking moving.
01:35:04 And Shane's like, this is where you wanna die?
01:35:05 You wanna die tonight in Taco Bell drive-thru?
01:35:08 - With a PT Cruiser in the back?
01:35:09 - Yeah, you end up getting your phone out and recording it.
01:35:11 Oh, damn, it is up.
01:35:12 - What is up?
01:35:14 - Yeah, you're right.
01:35:15 - But Cole Shane did not put it up,
01:35:16 and then he put it up for like one minute,
01:35:17 and then it somehow went on TikTok, so I'm gonna look it.
01:35:20 - Shane Gillis fights for the front seat.
01:35:22 Who posted this? - I don't know.
01:35:23 - I don't know, and Caleb gets back in the back seat,
01:35:25 and he's like, I don't know why I got out of the front seat.
01:35:27 And I'm like-- - You guys were low energy.
01:35:28 I was just trying to get you guys going.
01:35:30 - It was a long weekend.
01:35:31 We were up 'til like four in the morning, it felt like.
01:35:34 - Oh, well.
01:35:35 - And we were fighting through it.
01:35:36 - Yeah.
01:35:37 - And then the night game at South Bend.
01:35:40 - Stinks, yeah.
01:35:41 - Yeah, it's a tough area.
01:35:42 - Should I read my review?
01:35:43 - Yeah, read your review on South Bend.
01:35:45 - You got, yeah, bro, I wish you would--
01:35:46 - You gotta do more of that stuff.
01:35:48 - What?
01:35:49 - Funny.
01:35:50 Like, funny stuff.
01:35:52 - You gotta do, you gotta start trying
01:35:54 to do some more being funny, dude, 'cause.
01:35:56 - I mean, like, the way, yeah, we'll get into it.
01:36:00 You gotta, you have to read your review on Notre Dame,
01:36:04 'cause in my opinion, he should've published it--
01:36:06 - What's our group chat called?
01:36:07 - Beast.
01:36:08 - No, no, bros for real. - Oh, wait, bros for real.
01:36:11 - We're the most basic guys of all.
01:36:13 We have two different group chats, they're beasts and bros.
01:36:16 (laughing)
01:36:17 We, yeah, we're not doing well.
01:36:18 - Oh my God.
01:36:19 - Yeah, so this is the context of this, though.
01:36:22 So I've been going to Notre Dame for a long time.
01:36:24 My best friend from high school played at Notre Dame,
01:36:27 so I went on his recruiting trip with him.
01:36:29 I went to watch him play there.
01:36:31 I've been going to Notre Dame for a long time
01:36:33 and always have rooted for them.
01:36:34 Even when we were there, we were rooting for Notre Dame.
01:36:37 And even since then, I've been betting on Notre Dame
01:36:39 to support Shane.
01:36:41 - Right.
01:36:42 - And still, they just let me down every which way
01:36:44 you can let someone down, they let you down.
01:36:47 So I'm still gonna find him.
01:36:47 - And when they lost that night, it's like,
01:36:49 you know, similar, I guess, with me and Nebraska,
01:36:52 maybe I'm not as bad as Shane.
01:36:54 But Shane was in such a bad way.
01:36:59 And when you don't have a dog in the fight,
01:37:01 but you're riding with your boy,
01:37:02 the minute they do go down, it's like,
01:37:03 anytime I jab a little bit with JP,
01:37:06 it's like, when you're rocking with them
01:37:07 and then they lose, you have kind of like a,
01:37:10 - Told you.
01:37:11 - Hey, what's the deal, man?
01:37:12 You're fucking losing us money.
01:37:13 - And you're also like, man, we don't really care about this.
01:37:15 (laughing)
01:37:16 I thought we were doing it like a little bit together.
01:37:19 Though Shane really cares.
01:37:20 All right, here's my thing.
01:37:21 South Bend, Notre Dame review.
01:37:23 Can I blow my nose real fast?
01:37:24 - Yeah.
01:37:28 - I got a cold, I got a cold, and then I just,
01:37:31 after seven days, I was like, my cold's over,
01:37:32 I'm going back to live my life.
01:37:33 And the cold just has not stopped.
01:37:35 - It's that time of year, man, it's crazy.
01:37:37 - But seven days is like a normal amount of time
01:37:39 to get over a cold.
01:37:39 - Yeah, it should be like,
01:37:40 - I think I have a really bad immune system.
01:37:43 - Yeah, your stomach's in your sternum.
01:37:44 - You should have got up and went beast mode with us, bro.
01:37:47 - Yeah, I've fallen apart on that too, though.
01:37:51 - Grabbing what?
01:37:51 - Cut this part, cut this part, cut this part.
01:37:52 - No, no, keep this part.
01:37:54 Do it in the mic.
01:37:55 - No, no, just seriously cut it.
01:37:56 (laughing)
01:37:58 I've been sick as a dog for a long time, I just,
01:38:02 - Wipe your chin too?
01:38:04 Wiping down there.
01:38:05 - Huh?
01:38:06 I'm down bad.
01:38:09 That time of the year.
01:38:10 (laughing)
01:38:12 All right, here's my thing.
01:38:14 - Notre Dame review from Caleb Presley.
01:38:17 - Academics, eight of 10.
01:38:19 Religion, yes.
01:38:22 Crime, lots.
01:38:24 Women, crime.
01:38:25 Vibe, non-racist whites.
01:38:31 Fans, 10 of 10.
01:38:35 Football, goes without being said.
01:38:37 Okay, I'll say it, bad.
01:38:39 (laughing)
01:38:41 Airport, three of 10.
01:38:43 Food, Cordita Crunch.
01:38:45 Seafood, they should stop serving it.
01:38:48 X-Factor, Lou Holtz is the man.
01:38:50 True.
01:38:51 - True.
01:38:52 - General thoughts.
01:38:53 Notre Dame is, I can't remember if this is explicit,
01:38:55 so if it gets bad.
01:38:57 General thoughts, Notre Dame is undeniably a one of one.
01:39:01 Whether you love it or hate it,
01:39:02 everyone knows in their heart it's a magical place.
01:39:05 If you love nostalgia,
01:39:07 you love thinking about the past,
01:39:09 you love telling the same stories over and over,
01:39:11 if you have bad breath, this place is for you.
01:39:14 Personally, I wanna hate it,
01:39:15 but I have to push my relatively small ego to the side
01:39:19 and give credit where credit's due.
01:39:20 Notre Dame is the definition of unique.
01:39:23 At first, I thought maybe it's the rich tradition,
01:39:25 maybe it's the history,
01:39:27 maybe it's the closeted gays who work in the Basilica,
01:39:29 maybe it's New Krochny,
01:39:31 but after visiting twice over the span of four weeks,
01:39:33 I realized something, the truth finally hit me.
01:39:36 The reason why Notre Dame is special is simple,
01:39:38 the people who run it,
01:39:40 no, not the big wig insurance millionaires,
01:39:42 but the real people who actually run it
01:39:45 on a day-to-day basis,
01:39:46 doing local service and campus security
01:39:49 have never left town.
01:39:50 Their entire lives,
01:39:53 they've been confined to this one small subsection
01:39:56 of America, descendants of great drinking Irish heroes,
01:40:00 they're the only members of their entire bloodline,
01:40:02 born to be alcoholics,
01:40:04 they have never even drank in the morning,
01:40:06 they have no purpose,
01:40:07 they have no ability to reach their destiny,
01:40:09 so instead of doing what,
01:40:11 so instead of doing what they were meant by God to do
01:40:14 and cripple themselves with substance addiction,
01:40:17 they soberly drive golf carts
01:40:19 around the shittiest town in Indiana,
01:40:21 tell old stories, old lies,
01:40:23 and tell me to stop vaping.
01:40:25 Overall score, 61 of 100.
01:40:26 (laughing)
01:40:29 - Shayna, love that.
01:40:29 - I don't have wifi in my flight,
01:40:30 is what happened, that's why I wrote that.
01:40:31 - That right there? - That's why you wrote that?
01:40:32 - Yeah.
01:40:34 - South Bend is a scary place,
01:40:35 it just seems like everything you just said
01:40:37 with all the people just never leave,
01:40:39 ever, we went to Linebacker for a meet and greet,
01:40:42 and there was a guy in this run down limousine
01:40:45 that walked us into the limousine
01:40:47 and we started betting on the little,
01:40:49 a kids game where the thing spins around
01:40:51 and cow goes moo, turkey goes gobble gobble,
01:40:54 and we just sat there and there's things hanging in the air,
01:40:56 it's just a wild world.
01:40:57 - Yeah. - It's a wild world we live in.
01:40:58 - Yeah, I mean I don't like it,
01:41:00 so I think it sucks.
01:41:01 - It feels a lot like,
01:41:06 I mean yeah, it's like a small town.
01:41:08 Like a small town you never leave.
01:41:10 - Yeah, but I-- - It's got some homie
01:41:11 nostalgia vibes to myself.
01:41:13 - Yeah, what do you mean, like just--
01:41:15 - I went to Catholic school.
01:41:18 You wanna go to Notre Dame.
01:41:19 I did wanna go to Notre Dame.
01:41:20 Yeah.
01:41:21 - I mean, my favorite away game we ever played
01:41:23 in college was at Notre Dame.
01:41:25 In the stadium, it was awesome.
01:41:26 - Did you get offered by Notre Dame?
01:41:27 - No.
01:41:28 - If you got offered by Notre Dame, would you have gone?
01:41:31 - Yeah.
01:41:32 - All right.
01:41:33 - Caleb slung the rock in North Carolina.
01:41:34 - Yeah, I know.
01:41:35 - And by the way, we have a guest back here,
01:41:37 Big Beast Jeff Schotty.
01:41:38 - He had a pick six at Notre Dame.
01:41:39 - Yeah, All-American linebacker
01:41:40 from the University of North Carolina.
01:41:42 - This bus just breeds white linebackers.
01:41:45 - Yeah.
01:41:46 You got anything you wanna say, Beast?
01:41:48 Yo, plug your show.
01:41:50 So you got a show going.
01:41:52 What's it called?
01:41:53 Blue Collar?
01:41:54 - Calling the Shots.
01:41:55 Shout out VIP.
01:41:56 Now it's VIP and Schott now, but--
01:41:58 - About UNC football.
01:41:59 - About UNC football only.
01:42:01 - Yeah, I mean--
01:42:02 - Not a lot good to talk about lately.
01:42:03 - You guys losing to Virginia, like that's--
01:42:04 - It's you guys--
01:42:05 - And Georgia Tech.
01:42:06 - Like Nebraska's--
01:42:09 - Well, Michigan's doing good.
01:42:10 - Yeah, Michigan's doing great.
01:42:11 Michigan's doing great.
01:42:13 And Nebraska can make a bowl game if they win this week.
01:42:17 - Really?
01:42:17 - Yeah, they play Iowa.
01:42:18 - Yeah, we're trying to go bowl eligible.
01:42:19 You know that, we keep up every week.
01:42:21 I know you try to ride with us.
01:42:22 - I do.
01:42:23 So that's the thing.
01:42:24 You guys think I don't wanna see you succeed.
01:42:26 I always ride with you, every bet.
01:42:28 I'm always rooting for your teams.
01:42:30 Michigan, I haven't really bet you guys,
01:42:32 but I root for you guys.
01:42:33 - Yeah, it feels like Michigan's
01:42:35 the odd man out in this group.
01:42:36 We usually ride Notre Dame, we ride in Nebraska.
01:42:38 I don't think we ride North Carolina, though.
01:42:39 - Well, the Michigan spreads are like minus 45.
01:42:42 - For the most part, we've covered.
01:42:44 - Yeah, and you don't even bet 'em,
01:42:45 so I don't feel bad about it.
01:42:46 - I do bet 'em.
01:42:47 - No, you don't.
01:42:47 - I bet Michigan State over 35 and the over, and it hit.
01:42:52 - But that's probably the only time
01:42:52 the whole season you did it.
01:42:54 And let's be honest here, 'cause we're friends.
01:42:55 - I bet Penn State.
01:42:56 - But that was not when they were playing Michigan.
01:42:58 That was just another game.
01:42:59 Let's be honest.
01:43:00 - No, I bet Michigan versus Penn State.
01:43:01 - Will told me.
01:43:01 Will told me he's like, he doesn't even bet his teams.
01:43:03 - Yeah, but you know, he just likes chaos.
01:43:05 - Yeah, I enjoy some good chaos.
01:43:09 I enjoy some good chaos.
01:43:11 I'm thinking Caleb's gonna continue to put words
01:43:14 in my mouth with shitting on Michigan.
01:43:16 - This is like my version of what do people say,
01:43:18 what do you say when people say?
01:43:19 I just be like, Will said that.
01:43:22 - Yeah.
01:43:22 - Just a little bit.
01:43:23 - I believe every single one.
01:43:24 - I wanna get into Sunday Conversation.
01:43:26 - Okay.
01:43:27 - You do a lot of 'em.
01:43:28 What has been one of your wildest stories
01:43:31 with all the different characters that you've had on?
01:43:33 Like Kodak Black, you've had on, that's Kodak Black.
01:43:37 - Talk about Kodak Black.
01:43:38 - We did have him.
01:43:39 So the interview's at three.
01:43:42 We're in Pompano, where he's from.
01:43:44 And he showed up, you know, rapper time is a thing.
01:43:48 Like I have Jelly Roll today.
01:43:49 I'm assuming he's gonna be late.
01:43:51 - Yeah.
01:43:52 - It's rapper time.
01:43:53 - He's probably still sleeping right now.
01:43:55 - But so rapper time's a thing.
01:43:57 So he shows up probably 3.45, all good.
01:44:02 And then we were in this warehouse.
01:44:04 He was shooting some other photos or something for an album.
01:44:07 And then we shot the interview around 12, 15 at night.
01:44:10 - Really?
01:44:15 What are you and Glennie doing
01:44:17 while you guys are just sitting there waiting?
01:44:18 - We just sat there.
01:44:19 I tried to talk to Robbie Anderson and he was just there.
01:44:24 I was like, man, we're all sitting here for like hours.
01:44:26 We gotta make some conversation, meet some new people.
01:44:28 Robbie Anderson was there, the guy from the Panthers.
01:44:30 - Yeah, the chosen.
01:44:32 - And I'm a Panthers fan.
01:44:33 I grew up, I'm from Carolina.
01:44:34 So I went up to him, I was like,
01:44:35 hey, Caleb from Barstool is doing a thing with Kodak.
01:44:37 And I just wanna let you say what's up.
01:44:39 Like, we're chilling here, like what's up?
01:44:41 He's like.
01:44:42 - Oh, kind of gave you the cold shoulder.
01:44:46 - It's tough.
01:44:47 - Yeah, it was really tough.
01:44:48 I felt really bad.
01:44:49 - Who's been like your favorite interview?
01:44:50 Who's been like your favorite,
01:44:51 a couple of favorite people to be around?
01:44:53 - Aaron Rodgers is just the coolest guy of all time.
01:44:56 He's like, he's my number one probably.
01:44:58 Drake was amazing.
01:44:59 Everyone's been awesome.
01:45:04 To be honest with you, everyone's been awesome.
01:45:05 Like, we don't have guests who are not cool,
01:45:09 to be honest with you.
01:45:10 And most of the time, we get to hang out with them
01:45:11 afterwards, which is the most fun part.
01:45:13 So we do the interview, it's like 15 minutes,
01:45:15 and then I can kind of like come out of like grilling them,
01:45:18 whatever, and we can just hang out.
01:45:19 And most of them have been awesome.
01:45:21 - Does any of them just come in, do it,
01:45:23 and then they leave, and then it's just kind of like--
01:45:25 - It's rare though, it's really rare.
01:45:27 It's really rare.
01:45:28 Ice Cube was the only one that was literally like,
01:45:29 I was already in my chair, he came in,
01:45:31 we shot the interview in 15 minutes,
01:45:32 and he walked out 'cause he was doing like a press circuit.
01:45:34 But most people you hang out with,
01:45:35 and like every single person's been awesome.
01:45:38 Aaron Rodgers is my favorite because he just like,
01:45:41 I don't know, I grew up watching him,
01:45:43 he was just so, you just don't know what to think about him.
01:45:46 You see him on TV, he's like moody,
01:45:48 you get these rumors about like, what's he like,
01:45:50 and he sometimes seems like a dick,
01:45:52 but then he does cool things,
01:45:53 and then he was doing the whole like,
01:45:55 ayahuasca thing at the time.
01:45:57 No, he told us he was, so we're sitting there
01:45:59 after the interview, and he's like,
01:46:00 I'm about to do some other press
01:46:02 that's gonna make some news.
01:46:04 And I was like, what?
01:46:05 He's like, I'm about to talk about some medicine,
01:46:08 like legal medicine, or natural medicine.
01:46:11 And I was like, oh really?
01:46:13 He's like, well, I did ayahuasca over the summer,
01:46:16 and I'm gonna come out about it.
01:46:18 I was like, bro, that's not gonna make any news.
01:46:20 Everyone knows you do ayahuasca.
01:46:22 I was like, bro, look at you, we know you do ayahuasca.
01:46:26 And he came out with like the next week,
01:46:28 and it was the biggest story for like eight months.
01:46:30 - Yeah, it's still a big story.
01:46:31 - Yeah.
01:46:32 - Everyone, that's like--
01:46:32 - I told him, I was like, that's not gonna be big news.
01:46:33 Everyone knows that, like, it's not gonna be--
01:46:35 - Now he's trying to come back from an Achilles in like--
01:46:37 - He's the man, he's the man.
01:46:38 - Since September, coming back in December?
01:46:40 - Yeah.
01:46:41 - I hope the Jets win a couple,
01:46:43 I know this is coming out in a couple weeks,
01:46:44 but I hope like the Jets win a couple,
01:46:45 and he actually can do it.
01:46:47 - I don't think he should come back this year.
01:46:48 They don't have the right team.
01:46:49 He should come back next year.
01:46:50 He should prove he can come back, prove it,
01:46:53 get on the sideline, like do some cool stuff,
01:46:54 and then not go in.
01:46:55 - Like go to practice,
01:46:56 and like sling it around a little bit.
01:46:57 - Light it up at practice.
01:46:58 - Yes.
01:46:59 - Light it up at practice.
01:47:00 - Just throw bombs.
01:47:01 - They don't have a good team.
01:47:02 - And just kind of get the film out there
01:47:03 that you could if you wanted to.
01:47:03 - Right.
01:47:04 - Yeah.
01:47:05 - That's all you need to do.
01:47:06 And then it'll change the landscape of medicine forever.
01:47:09 Will it not?
01:47:10 - I think his surgeon was Elitrosh.
01:47:12 - He's the best.
01:47:13 - That's who you did for your--
01:47:14 - Elitrosh.
01:47:15 - The second round with your knee.
01:47:16 - I feel like he's, I mean, I don't know this,
01:47:17 but I feel like he's just trying to come back so fast,
01:47:19 just as a final bird finger to everybody.
01:47:22 - Yeah, yeah, yeah.
01:47:23 - I was right.
01:47:24 - Which I respect that.
01:47:25 - Rodgers was right.
01:47:25 - When you started Sunday Conversation,
01:47:28 how long before you were like,
01:47:29 oh, this is a show that people are gonna love?
01:47:32 - Like this is it.
01:47:33 - Yeah, this is it.
01:47:34 Like this is my calling of finding your humor,
01:47:36 finding your character in it.
01:47:37 Like when did you know?
01:47:38 How many episodes did it take for you to be like,
01:47:40 oh shit, this is real?
01:47:40 - Well, we started as a segment for a pro football show.
01:47:44 So like there's Sunday Conversation
01:47:45 on one of the NFL countdown on one of the shows.
01:47:48 And so Roan, who we work with, was like,
01:47:50 what if we do our version of Sunday Conversation,
01:47:52 but we have Glennie Ball's Sunday,
01:47:54 his Sunday Conversation.
01:47:55 So me and Roan were splitting it.
01:47:57 Like I was doing one week, he was doing one week.
01:47:59 And then I just had a couple that was like this,
01:48:01 I feel like I found my niche.
01:48:03 I feel like I really understand how to do this.
01:48:06 And I was like, Roan, can I,
01:48:07 do you mind if I just like take this and run with it?
01:48:09 And he's the coolest guy of all time.
01:48:10 He's like, yeah, go for it.
01:48:11 - Dude, Roan's the ultimate hype man.
01:48:12 - He really is.
01:48:13 - The ultimate hype man.
01:48:14 He's the coolest guy, yeah, he's amazing.
01:48:15 But he was like, go ahead for it.
01:48:16 So it was actually me and Roan doing it,
01:48:18 and then I just took it and ran with it.
01:48:19 But yeah, I don't know.
01:48:22 - You make it, are you the one who does all
01:48:23 like the creative with it?
01:48:25 - What do you mean?
01:48:26 - Like producing it, like being on the computer,
01:48:27 kind of like doing like all the,
01:48:29 like the music and the way the camera goes.
01:48:31 - No, we have a guy.
01:48:32 - You're bringing a lot of stuff to where,
01:48:33 you know, I felt like it was kind of like innovative
01:48:37 to where you're like, you're zooming in, you're capturing,
01:48:39 you're moving the camera around,
01:48:40 you're doing a lot of different things inside the interview
01:48:42 to kind of like bring the production to life.
01:48:44 - Right, no, there's a guy named Tom Mullins,
01:48:46 who I work with, who's like editor,
01:48:48 and I've been working with for years, and he's amazing.
01:48:50 I talk to him about it, but he has the music,
01:48:54 he finds the music, he edits it.
01:48:57 I have another producer who's here, Kelsey,
01:48:59 who does everything. - Shout out, Kelsey.
01:49:01 - She's like actually produces it,
01:49:02 so no, it's a huge team effort.
01:49:04 But I do have my team, which I love,
01:49:06 which is like y'all, it's like,
01:49:08 you guys are kind of like an independent thing
01:49:09 from Barstool, but then, I don't know,
01:49:12 with your contracts, but basically you're part of Barstool,
01:49:14 but you're independent.
01:49:14 I'm 100% part of Barstool,
01:49:16 but I also have my own team,
01:49:18 who is pretty much full-time on the things I'm doing,
01:49:21 and we just do everything, we're very efficient,
01:49:23 everyone knows each other, it's, I like that.
01:49:26 - From a creative standpoint,
01:49:27 did you find it more productive
01:49:29 when you were able to kind of get out
01:49:30 of being at headquarters all the time?
01:49:33 - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - Like being in Florida
01:49:34 and all that? - Yeah, yeah, yeah.
01:49:35 - What does your process look like
01:49:36 with setting a conversation?
01:49:38 - Process of what?
01:49:39 - Process of like, if you have Jelly Roll today,
01:49:41 and you said, "I haven't thought about it,
01:49:42 "I haven't done any of that,"
01:49:44 do you write shit down, or you kind of just go off of?
01:49:46 - Normally I try to be prepared,
01:49:47 like you come up with some topics,
01:49:48 some questions that are definitely,
01:49:50 the question is the joke,
01:49:52 you don't need their answer to be good,
01:49:54 it's like, "That was a funny question."
01:49:56 - Yeah.
01:49:57 - But you can't prepare for a conversation,
01:49:59 like, you can prepare for it only so much,
01:50:00 but how are you gonna predict
01:50:02 every single thing that's gonna happen?
01:50:04 It ends up being like 50/50, I would say.
01:50:06 - Yeah.
01:50:07 Is there any guests that you're like,
01:50:08 hoping to have on one day,
01:50:09 like you have a White Well list too?
01:50:10 - Beetlejuice, James Winston.
01:50:12 Those are my two.
01:50:14 - Beetlejuice and James Winston.
01:50:16 - They're both attainable, right?
01:50:18 - No.
01:50:19 - James Winston for sure.
01:50:20 - I've tried as hard as possible to get both of them.
01:50:22 - Why wouldn't James do it?
01:50:23 - James is focused on his football career.
01:50:24 - Okay, I have, yeah, I've heard that,
01:50:26 like he's very much like dialed in,
01:50:28 he would be amazing.
01:50:29 - He just so like, everything he says is funny,
01:50:31 he's just so unpredictable, he'd be hilarious,
01:50:33 and then Beetlejuice is just, he's like the, yeah.
01:50:37 - He is, there's,
01:50:38 Beetlejuice is, yeah, Beetlejuice.
01:50:40 - He's him, like that's him, man.
01:50:42 - Have you had like a great White Whale
01:50:46 that you've gotten on?
01:50:48 Like this, Drake was your number one.
01:50:49 That's what I was looking for.
01:50:50 - How did that one go down?
01:50:51 How were you able to get Drake?
01:50:52 - 'Cause that was during Beast time.
01:50:54 - Yeah.
01:50:55 - Oh yeah, I was like telling you, I was just unfolding.
01:50:58 Yeah, I was hosting the Hooters International Pageant
01:51:00 one night in Lake Tahoe,
01:51:03 and I don't know if you guys have been to Lake Tahoe,
01:51:05 but it's hard to get to, like it's a couple flights,
01:51:07 you gotta go to Reno, then you gotta drive like an hour.
01:51:09 So I'm about to go on stage to host the Hooters Pageant,
01:51:12 and he DMed me, and he was like,
01:51:14 "Hey, can we shoot tomorrow in Miami for your show?"
01:51:19 I never talked to him, and I was like,
01:51:21 "Uh, no, it's impossible."
01:51:23 It was impossible, I was like,
01:51:24 I literally could not get there.
01:51:26 - He's just reaching out to you,
01:51:27 like, "Yo, I wanna do your show."
01:51:28 - Yeah, and I literally could not, and he's my favorite,
01:51:31 like he's my favorite from a child, like he's the best.
01:51:34 I still think he's the best.
01:51:35 The new thing he's put out is the best.
01:51:36 But he hit me up, I saw it as I'm about to go on stage,
01:51:39 I was like, "Oh my God."
01:51:40 And then I was like, "I can't get there,
01:51:43 "I literally can't get there."
01:51:44 Unless I get a private plane,
01:51:46 that was the only way I could even make it.
01:51:47 I was like, "No, but why don't we just do,
01:51:49 "can we do it any other time, any location in the world?"
01:51:52 He's like, "For sure."
01:51:53 And then I hit him up a million times,
01:51:54 and I didn't hear from him for like a year.
01:51:57 And then I hit him up again, I was like,
01:51:58 I probably got one, I was like, "So many blues."
01:52:00 It's like, "Blue, blue, blue, blue, blue, blue, blue."
01:52:02 I was like, "I got one more chance at this."
01:52:04 So I waited, and I was like,
01:52:05 "All right, what do you think about Super Bowl episodes,
01:52:07 "our biggest one of the year, do you wanna do it?"
01:52:09 And that's how he's like, "Yeah," he responded.
01:52:11 - So you never reached out to him once,
01:52:13 and then he just reached out to you
01:52:15 as you're doing a Hooters pageant.
01:52:17 You never asked him, and all of a sudden he just DMs you.
01:52:19 - No, I didn't think he was obtainable.
01:52:20 He doesn't do interviews, so.
01:52:21 - I know, that's what's sick,
01:52:22 that's what's awesome about it,
01:52:23 is that he's like, people obviously know your show,
01:52:27 and so it's sick that people in our world that high up
01:52:31 is reaching out to be like,
01:52:31 "Yo, I wanna go on Sunday Conversation this year."
01:52:34 - He's like super, which I respect that,
01:52:36 he's super tied into what's happening,
01:52:38 what's relevant, what's happening right now.
01:52:40 You know what I'm saying?
01:52:41 So that was a year before it happened,
01:52:43 so that was like, it was literally a year probably
01:52:45 before it actually happened.
01:52:47 So it was right when Sunday Conversation was probably started.
01:52:50 - Was it the most thrown off you've ever been
01:52:52 when you asked him what he likes to bet on,
01:52:54 and he says fatherhood?
01:52:55 - So funny.
01:52:56 - Did you see that clip going around again?
01:52:57 I was literally, I was telling him that.
01:52:58 - Yeah, I was telling him that.
01:52:59 - It was so funny.
01:52:59 - I was telling him at breakfast,
01:53:00 he's like, you know what you're talking about,
01:53:01 he's like, "Oh man, I love game, but I love sports betting."
01:53:03 He's like, "What's your favorite thing to bet on?"
01:53:04 And he's like, pauses, and he's like,
01:53:06 "In the most serious way, fatherhood."
01:53:08 Caleb like breaks character, 'cause you don't,
01:53:10 you know, it's always funny seeing that.
01:53:12 I'm always interested to see
01:53:13 if somebody will get you to laugh.
01:53:14 - Glenny Balls is who makes me laugh,
01:53:16 'cause Glenny Balls is,
01:53:18 when he starts doing that little cute giggle,
01:53:19 I can't stop laughing.
01:53:20 - Dude, how good of a life does Glenny Balls have?
01:53:23 - He's pretty good.
01:53:24 He might have the best life.
01:53:25 - He might have the best life.
01:53:26 His Only Stans show.
01:53:28 - Only Stans, girls are just trying to fuck him,
01:53:30 and he refuses to.
01:53:31 - He had some.
01:53:31 - Is he fucking?
01:53:34 Is J.S. Clinton balls bull?
01:53:35 - Yes, but he doesn't, it's well known that he pulls.
01:53:38 He does not do his Only Stans,
01:53:40 'cause he's really a respectable journalist,
01:53:42 and he doesn't care.
01:53:43 He doesn't care if they're hot.
01:53:44 He doesn't, and I'm not lying, he does not do it.
01:53:46 - That's the best.
01:53:47 - Yeah.
01:53:48 - And then he goes on Sunday Conversation,
01:53:49 like the most popular thing in Barstool,
01:53:50 and he just gets to sit on the side and eat ice cream.
01:53:53 - He doesn't know who any of our guests are.
01:53:54 We had Ed Sheeran on, and he was like,
01:53:55 "So who's this dude we're doing today?"
01:53:57 (laughing)
01:53:58 I'm like, "What are you talking about?"
01:53:59 On the way to the Drake thing, he's like,
01:54:00 "Yo, send me some songs so I can catch up."
01:54:03 (laughing)
01:54:06 He listens to Billy Joel, and that's all he does.
01:54:08 - I saw you, you were the one that hired him too, right?
01:54:10 - Yeah.
01:54:11 - How was that process with Dave?
01:54:13 Was it as easy as it seemed?
01:54:15 - It was all on camera.
01:54:16 I was like, "Dave, I hired this guy."
01:54:17 He's like, "Okay, Caleb, well you don't even do it."
01:54:19 There was one time when I wasn't even doing anything.
01:54:20 He's like, "You don't even do anything.
01:54:22 "Why do you need to hire somebody?"
01:54:23 I wasn't even doing anything.
01:54:25 - Do you ever get like--
01:54:26 - Then we hired Rhea, because I had to go on the bus tour,
01:54:29 because we do this SEC football tour.
01:54:31 So I had to go on the bus tour,
01:54:33 and so I was gonna be gone for a couple months.
01:54:35 And so I had just hired Glennie Balls though,
01:54:37 and so I was like, "I gotta hire another person
01:54:40 "to basically watch out for Glennie Balls while I'm gone."
01:54:43 So we hired Rhea to watch out for Glennie Balls.
01:54:45 - What did Glennie Balls do when he first got hired?
01:54:49 - We tried to send him to the store to get some alcohol,
01:54:51 but he was like 16.
01:54:52 (laughing)
01:54:53 But he didn't tell us that, so he came back with alcohol.
01:54:55 His mom had to go in and buy it for him.
01:54:58 He got his mom to go in and buy it for him.
01:54:59 That was his first day.
01:55:00 It was his first day at work.
01:55:01 I was like, "Can you go get us some beers?"
01:55:03 And he went to the store, and he came back with the beers.
01:55:05 I never knew about it, and he's like,
01:55:06 "Yeah, I was too young.
01:55:07 "My mom had to buy those beers for me."
01:55:09 - Mom, can you please buy these beers?
01:55:10 Like, I need this job.
01:55:12 Do you ever get like, I don't know if press
01:55:16 is the right word, but doing Sunday conversation too much.
01:55:20 Do you ever think about that with trying to keep guests,
01:55:22 because obviously when you're working for Barstool
01:55:25 and things get sold, there's like this,
01:55:27 hey, we sold this advertisement.
01:55:29 We kind of need episodes.
01:55:30 Like, does that ever happen in your world?
01:55:31 - Dude, I cannot, you guys know this.
01:55:33 Dave, who's my boss, and I report to,
01:55:35 and it's in my contract that I only will ever report to Dave.
01:55:39 This is whenever it was, look, the pen was involved,
01:55:41 and it's like Dave was getting canceled every day,
01:55:43 and I was like, if Dave's out, I'm out.
01:55:46 Not that I'm out, but I just, Dave is the best boss,
01:55:49 and I don't know if I feel any pressure,
01:55:50 even if we have ads.
01:55:53 I've never been contacted by Dave about work, really.
01:55:57 I mean, if it's like a big thing,
01:56:00 he's giving me some good ideas.
01:56:01 The only thing I've ever heard from Dave
01:56:02 is like a good idea.
01:56:03 It's like, hey, you should go do this video
01:56:04 with this person.
01:56:06 I just saw this happen.
01:56:08 Besides that, he doesn't give any,
01:56:10 I feel like I'm like y'all, like running my own business.
01:56:13 - I mean, it's a good thing, I guess,
01:56:14 that he never reaches out.
01:56:14 - And then he takes on all the risk of the business.
01:56:17 - Yeah, and just relies on you to go hopefully do your job.
01:56:20 - I love, I mean, not to be, I don't know
01:56:23 what you guys say on this podcast,
01:56:25 but not to be over the top about it.
01:56:27 I love Dave, yeah.
01:56:29 I love Dave.
01:56:30 - No, yeah, Dave's the man.
01:56:31 - And that's like, I'll be with Dave for as long as I can.
01:56:35 That sounded over the top as well.
01:56:37 But as long as he, I mean, just like,
01:56:39 I'm running my own business with no risk.
01:56:41 - What was the reason for you to start this new show,
01:56:44 The Kayla Presley Show?
01:56:45 - Just, it's the same show.
01:56:49 It's just Sunday Conversation Standing Up,
01:56:50 but I was just like, call it something different.
01:56:52 - Someone said that to you.
01:56:54 Oh, Theo said that to me.
01:56:55 - I mean, it's--
01:56:56 - I was like, have you seen Caleb's new show?
01:56:57 He was like, you mean the one of him
01:56:57 doing the same show, Standing Up?
01:56:58 - I asked him, I was like, Theo, you wanna come?
01:57:01 He's like, what's your new show?
01:57:02 I was like, it's basically just Sunday Conversation,
01:57:04 but we're standing up.
01:57:05 I was like, you wanna come on it?
01:57:06 He's like, let me wait and see if it's any good.
01:57:08 (all laughing)
01:57:10 He's like, give me a few weeks to see if it's any good.
01:57:12 No, it is the same.
01:57:14 I just think starting new verticals, I don't know.
01:57:16 It doesn't make any sense.
01:57:17 There's really no good reason to do it.
01:57:18 - I thought the one with Shane was really good.
01:57:20 - Yeah, I think it's a funny concept,
01:57:21 but I just don't, there's no real like--
01:57:23 - You've had what, Shane on, you've had Joe Burrow?
01:57:26 - Yeah.
01:57:27 - The Joe Burrow one was great.
01:57:28 - Yeah, that's actually what happened.
01:57:29 We did Joe Burrow for a Body Armor deal,
01:57:32 and he was signed by Body Armor,
01:57:33 and so we, as part of his deal, he had to do a media hit.
01:57:36 I think he, I don't know how it went down,
01:57:38 but he maybe wanted to do it with us,
01:57:39 or he was okay with doing it with us.
01:57:41 And they're like, what do you wanna do with him?
01:57:42 We did the first episode.
01:57:44 It wasn't a show yet.
01:57:45 And I was like, that was really easy to make?
01:57:47 Yeah, it was easy to make, and I was like, it's funny.
01:57:50 So, it was like, keep doing it.
01:57:52 - It's almost like if, and I'm not saying Shane and Joe
01:57:54 are like this, but if you're trying to get something
01:57:56 more out of the guests, you could just do stuff
01:57:58 in their world to where you're kind of shooting it
01:58:00 to where, you know, you're doing this.
01:58:03 - I mean, our world, I think, is just about social media,
01:58:05 unfortunately, you know?
01:58:06 And it's like, these short things with celebrities
01:58:09 work really well on social media.
01:58:11 And so I try to think about, I'm a huge quality of life guy.
01:58:14 You guys know that.
01:58:16 - Yeah, you like being around sunshine and the beach.
01:58:18 That's why--
01:58:19 - That's my first priority is quality of life.
01:58:20 - That's why it took you away from us.
01:58:22 - And I'm like, how can I be valuable to the company
01:58:26 and make some money for the company and do my part
01:58:29 and not have to do too much?
01:58:31 (all laughing)
01:58:33 And this is a good answer.
01:58:35 - That's the dream.
01:58:36 - Yeah, these guys move the needle.
01:58:37 These celebrities move the needle.
01:58:37 People care about them.
01:58:38 People care about Joe Burrow.
01:58:39 And so you just get around them and you just kind of
01:58:42 just try to let people see a different side of them.
01:58:44 I don't think it's, I mean, I'm not trying to take props
01:58:47 away from myself.
01:58:48 I'll take as many props as I can get,
01:58:49 but I think people just like the celebrities
01:58:51 and they like to see a different side of them.
01:58:53 - Yeah, and yeah, just to throw flowers and be over the top,
01:58:56 like you are really fucking good at that stuff.
01:58:58 - Yeah, yeah.
01:59:00 - You're like the funniest, to me,
01:59:02 you're like the funniest dude to hang out with.
01:59:04 And I know that feels weird.
01:59:05 We're in a space right now.
01:59:06 We got the fellas, JP, you're up at the top too.
01:59:08 JP, you're up there too.
01:59:09 You're a funny cat.
01:59:10 - You are funny, you are funny.
01:59:11 It's terrible taking compliments.
01:59:13 Like I don't even-
01:59:14 - I know, I know it feels uncomfortable right now,
01:59:15 but you are like-
01:59:16 - I did this last night.
01:59:17 We watched Monday Night Football earned us last night.
01:59:19 I was giving him so many compliments
01:59:20 and he was feeling so uncomfortable.
01:59:21 I was like, bro, I'm sorry.
01:59:22 I know it's terrible to take compliments.
01:59:24 He's like, well, let me compliment you for a second.
01:59:25 And then I was super uncomfortable for five minutes.
01:59:27 It was like five minutes him being uncomfortable,
01:59:29 five minutes of me being uncomfortable.
01:59:30 - Jelly Roll will do that.
01:59:31 When you see Jelly, like he'll be,
01:59:33 but he'll make you feel good about it.
01:59:34 You won't feel like uncomfortable
01:59:35 'cause Jelly just has this way about him to where-
01:59:37 - Presence.
01:59:38 - Yeah, yeah, yeah.
01:59:39 - But I'm still workshopping some ideas.
01:59:40 So it's like Jelly, you have to be,
01:59:44 you have to be cremated.
01:59:46 Or you just buy a bunch of land.
01:59:53 - I think that'll go well.
01:59:57 - That's the first time on.
01:59:59 - Hey, that one's gonna go well.
02:00:00 That one'll go well.
02:00:01 - Well, Ernest and him are friends.
02:00:02 I don't really know him, so I don't know how this-
02:00:04 - Jelly will pile on
02:00:04 and it'll make you feel more comfortable doing it.
02:00:06 - I hope he doesn't pile on, dude.
02:00:07 (all laughing)
02:00:10 - No, I've met Jelly before.
02:00:11 He's awesome.
02:00:13 I think this is gonna be easy.
02:00:14 He's a layup guest.
02:00:15 And that's the other thing,
02:00:16 is booking is like, try to book layup guests.
02:00:18 So like, they'll save it.
02:00:20 I try not to book people who are not gonna save it
02:00:23 if I do bad.
02:00:24 - We're not gonna save it.
02:00:25 Oh, oh, I got it.
02:00:26 - Like if I do bad, you wanna guess
02:00:28 who the episode will still be good.
02:00:30 - Do you ever have episodes where you do bad
02:00:31 and you just don't air them because they're bad?
02:00:33 - We've only not aired one episode ever
02:00:35 and it was with Dave
02:00:36 and it was because I went too far.
02:00:37 I just went way too far.
02:00:39 - Did Dave say you went too far
02:00:40 or did you think you went too far?
02:00:42 - Well, he said it and everyone else said it.
02:00:44 Big Cat said it, Erica said it.
02:00:46 I think Jay Snowden said it from Penn.
02:00:48 - There's a lot of people who thought I went too far.
02:00:51 (all laughing)
02:00:52 - Do we think what-
02:00:53 - Dave's like, I don't even care, dude,
02:00:55 but they don't want it out.
02:00:56 So don't, he doesn't care about nothing.
02:00:58 - You think he could ever come out one day?
02:00:59 - No, I went too far, I think.
02:01:01 (all laughing)
02:01:03 - What's the category you went too far in?
02:01:04 - I wanna see it so bad.
02:01:06 He probably, you know-
02:01:07 - I always went too far.
02:01:08 - Yeah, he probably can't say it.
02:01:10 He's talking about not being able to release a Dave one.
02:01:12 - It was funny, it was very funny.
02:01:14 And I think everyone who watched it probably was like,
02:01:16 this is funny, but that's too far.
02:01:18 - Did Dave laugh?
02:01:19 Or was there a moment during that going too far,
02:01:21 you were like-
02:01:21 - No, no, no, it was funny.
02:01:22 It was all good vibes.
02:01:23 It was just like, why even do that?
02:01:25 Why even do that to our company
02:01:27 that we're trying to do well for?
02:01:29 Why tank our own company?
02:01:31 (all laughing)
02:01:33 - You think if Penn wasn't a part of it,
02:01:34 it would have gone out?
02:01:35 - This is the time clock for like,
02:01:36 we have this like a finishing a speech?
02:01:38 - Well, we, no, no, no.
02:01:39 We know that we have to get you out
02:01:41 roughly around this time.
02:01:42 - I thought that was, I thought it was going down.
02:01:44 I thought we had 45 seconds left.
02:01:45 (all laughing)
02:01:46 - I'll finish up, dude.
02:01:47 - Thank you to my mom.
02:01:49 - Yeah, shout out to your mom, dude.
02:01:51 She's a sweetheart.
02:01:52 - She's the best.
02:01:53 - Are you going home for Thanksgiving?
02:01:54 Obviously this is gonna be after Thanksgiving.
02:01:56 - Yeah, I get home all the time.
02:01:58 And I'm in Nashville.
02:02:00 I go see my parents and brother as much as possible.
02:02:03 And I see my boys as much as possible.
02:02:05 - Yeah, you guys do have a good crew.
02:02:07 - I just, we, you have to do that.
02:02:09 If you're a grown man,
02:02:10 this is why I was so excited about our trip to Notre Dame.
02:02:12 'Cause I was like, I have my boys, we have five guys.
02:02:15 They're all like my best friends.
02:02:16 I call him my best friend.
02:02:17 I call all five of them as my best friend.
02:02:19 And then we see each other as much as possible.
02:02:22 Like it's a must.
02:02:23 You have to, you have to do it
02:02:25 because then you just have no friends.
02:02:27 But I was exciting about, well, you really do
02:02:29 'cause you're older and then you stop seeing people.
02:02:31 People get married, people, you know.
02:02:34 - Kids.
02:02:35 - It gets harder and harder to see people.
02:02:36 And so, but we're so close
02:02:37 'cause we all play football together in North Carolina.
02:02:39 And so like we have that bonding in the locker room.
02:02:41 But on our trip, I was like, this is cool
02:02:44 'cause these are some of my only late life friends.
02:02:47 I have like you guys, Shane, Theo,
02:02:51 a few people that I would name drop them
02:02:54 but it doesn't make me look cool.
02:02:56 - Yeah, yeah, yeah.
02:02:57 - But Theo, Shane, you guys.
02:03:00 - No, I'm just saying, I probably have like six guys
02:03:02 or seven guys who I'm like,
02:03:03 these are like friends I've made late in life.
02:03:05 Not late in life, but after college.
02:03:07 And that's hard.
02:03:08 Like it's hard to make friends later in life.
02:03:10 So for our trip, I was like, guys,
02:03:12 you understand that like we all met each other late in life
02:03:14 and we could actually become really good friends.
02:03:16 And if we live long enough
02:03:18 with Shane and I's liver problems,
02:03:21 then we can be friends for like 60 years.
02:03:25 Like we could really develop a real friendship
02:03:26 but it's hard to do that.
02:03:28 - It is hard.
02:03:28 - You do seem like the glue guy.
02:03:30 - Are you the glue guy?
02:03:31 No, I don't know.
02:03:32 You always say I'm not.
02:03:33 - You see the glue guy as part of the five man crew?
02:03:35 He's the glue guy.
02:03:37 He's the glue guy, Jeff is.
02:03:38 - Jeff seems like a glue guy.
02:03:39 - Yeah, a white linebacker.
02:03:40 - He's good at texting everybody, keeping up.
02:03:42 I'm not good at keeping up with people, really.
02:03:43 - I disagree.
02:03:44 I think in the group chat,
02:03:45 you're always the one that starts the conversation.
02:03:46 - Well, Notre Dame just loses every week
02:03:47 so I have something to say.
02:03:48 - Yeah, fair enough.
02:03:49 - And we're later friends so it's a little bit more fresh.
02:03:51 It's a little, you know.
02:03:52 - Yeah, navigating water.
02:03:53 - Yeah, yeah, yeah.
02:03:54 - Did you ever expect that to be a thing
02:03:55 when you were in high school
02:03:56 and you're like, oh, these are my boys for life.
02:03:57 I'm always gonna have lots of friends.
02:03:58 - Yeah.
02:03:59 - And then you literally get out of college
02:04:00 and you're like, I have five friends.
02:04:01 - It's like the generation above you says,
02:04:04 dude, you guys aren't gonna be like this forever
02:04:06 and you're just thinking, yeah, right,
02:04:08 our group is different.
02:04:09 - Yeah.
02:04:10 - But, oh, unfortunately.
02:04:10 - It gets super hard.
02:04:11 I mean, it's just hard.
02:04:12 Everyone's busy and most of our friends
02:04:14 are still doing football stuff
02:04:15 so we have a couple coaches,
02:04:16 a couple guys who are in the NFL
02:04:18 and Cole is one of them you met.
02:04:20 - Dude, I know.
02:04:21 I hate that.
02:04:23 - So they have hard schedules
02:04:24 and I have a busy schedule
02:04:25 but when we can see each other, we see each other
02:04:27 and we ruin it on the first night.
02:04:29 We will be together for a full weekend
02:04:32 and we will blow our load on Thursday night
02:04:35 and we will feel terrible the rest of the week.
02:04:37 That's what we do.
02:04:37 That's our thing.
02:04:39 - I love that.
02:04:40 - Our thing is schedule something really cool for Friday,
02:04:41 get in late on Thursday night,
02:04:43 we'll get a good night's sleep
02:04:44 and then Friday we have this big thing
02:04:45 and then Thursday night we blow our load.
02:04:48 Every time.
02:04:49 (laughing)
02:04:51 - He did it.
02:04:52 - This weekend we were going to the football game,
02:04:54 friend thing for my birthday
02:04:56 and sorry Jeff,
02:04:58 but it was me, Theo, Jeff.
02:05:01 Jeff texted me Thursday night,
02:05:05 he's going to a wedding for another one of the guys
02:05:06 that we got married,
02:05:07 that we played football with,
02:05:08 he got married on Friday night.
02:05:09 So on Thursday night he's like,
02:05:10 "I'm in New York City for our boy's wedding."
02:05:13 Then the next day he's like,
02:05:15 "We had a fun night last night, I kind of blew my load."
02:05:18 I was like, "Well be careful tonight for the actual wedding
02:05:20 "because you gotta get an early flight,
02:05:21 "a 5.30 flight to come to Knoxville for this thing.
02:05:23 "It's gonna rock.
02:05:24 "Nila Stadium's the best, it's the best.
02:05:27 "And I don't know if you've been there."
02:05:29 Anyways, I was like, "It's gonna rock,
02:05:30 "so don't overdo it tonight."
02:05:31 He's like, "I'm not gonna overdo it tonight, bro, trust me."
02:05:34 And then he literally sends me a video.
02:05:36 I was being like a dad, I was like, "Don't overdo it."
02:05:38 And I overdo it all the time,
02:05:39 so he's like, "Who are you telling me to not overdo it?"
02:05:42 So he sends me a video, he's like, "I'm overdoing it."
02:05:44 (laughing)
02:05:45 But I'm sleeping, but I'm sleeping.
02:05:47 The next, I also wake up--
02:05:48 - So Caleb wasn't even doing it with you.
02:05:49 - No, I was already in Knoxville.
02:05:51 I was waiting on him to get there the next morning.
02:05:53 And so he sends me a video, I wake up,
02:05:54 it's him being like, "I told him not to overdo it."
02:05:57 He's like, "I'm overdoing it."
02:05:58 And the next thing was, "I missed my flight, bro,
02:06:00 "I'm not gonna make it."
02:06:01 (laughing)
02:06:01 - Oh no.
02:06:02 - Anyways, we blow our loads.
02:06:04 - I bet, I bet.
02:06:05 - I'm just saying we blow our loads fast.
02:06:06 I'm just saying we come quick.
02:06:08 (laughing)
02:06:11 - Dude, I love you so much, man.
02:06:14 - I love you guys too, man.
02:06:15 - I know we gotta get you out of here.
02:06:16 - You guys are my late life friends.
02:06:18 - Forever.
02:06:19 - You know what I feel.
02:06:19 - You guys did a bad performance this weekend.
02:06:20 I want you guys to talk about that.
02:06:21 'Cause your brand is the boys,
02:06:22 and you guys did a terrible job of being the boys this week.
02:06:25 And let's talk about that.
02:06:26 - This weekend?
02:06:27 - Today and yesterday.
02:06:28 - But it's on the hot seat, okay.
02:06:29 - Well, this is your brand,
02:06:30 so I want you to defend the brand.
02:06:31 - Set it up, set it up, set it up.
02:06:32 - Defend the brand.
02:06:33 - Yeah, defend it.
02:06:34 - Yeah, what made it--
02:06:34 - I know I'm going to the Tennessee game.
02:06:37 So I'm like, been trying to do busing for a year.
02:06:39 We, it has been scheduled things.
02:06:40 - Yeah, no doubt, no doubt.
02:06:42 - Look, we're obviously bantering back and forth.
02:06:44 - And Will's always like, dude, it has to be on the bus.
02:06:46 We see each other in Chicago.
02:06:47 We see each other all the time.
02:06:48 He's like, we have to do,
02:06:49 we could have done it at the Notre Dame game.
02:06:50 He's like, it has to be on the bus.
02:06:51 That's what busing with the boys is.
02:06:53 It's our whole thing.
02:06:54 If it's on the bus, we don't do it.
02:06:56 And then, so you guys interviewed Dana White at his house.
02:07:00 And then I was like, what?
02:07:02 (laughing)
02:07:05 And you know that's true.
02:07:07 But anyways, so--
02:07:09 - Wait, you told him we only do it on the bus?
02:07:11 - He's like, it has to be on the bus.
02:07:12 We see each other all the time.
02:07:13 - But I'm telling Caleb, yeah, the vibe with Caleb,
02:07:16 like he's one of the boys.
02:07:17 I want him to be on the bus.
02:07:18 - You want him to be on the bus.
02:07:19 - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - Yeah, yeah, yeah.
02:07:20 - On the bus, yeah.
02:07:20 - And then-- - You're different.
02:07:21 You and Richard were different.
02:07:22 - I've been doing this for a year.
02:07:23 And also we had a verbal contract.
02:07:25 I said, the next podcast I do will be busing.
02:07:28 I promise.
02:07:29 'Cause he's thinking I'm trying to dodge you guys.
02:07:31 I'm like, not trying to dodge.
02:07:32 - Because he came to town and he went on Theo's podcast.
02:07:35 - No, I already had a contract.
02:07:36 I cleared that with you.
02:07:37 I was like, Theo needs a guest.
02:07:38 - But also you were gonna come in that same time,
02:07:40 but you guys ended up cold tubbing, hanging out,
02:07:41 which is, that's fine.
02:07:43 But I'm saying it ended up snowballing
02:07:45 and falling through to where you're like,
02:07:46 hey, locked jaw contract.
02:07:48 - Locked jaw contract, verbal contract.
02:07:50 There will be no other Barcelona shows I do.
02:07:51 And we've had it for like a year.
02:07:53 Not Barcelona shows, any shows.
02:07:54 So I've been waiting to do this show
02:07:56 before I do any other shows.
02:07:58 And so it's kind of like, not a big deal,
02:07:59 but I really have been trying to get to Nashville
02:08:02 to do this show.
02:08:03 And so I was going to Knoxville.
02:08:04 I was like, all right, I'll drive from Knoxville.
02:08:06 It's Thanksgiving week.
02:08:07 After the game, I'll drive up to Nashville.
02:08:08 It's like three hours.
02:08:09 And we'll do what we used to do,
02:08:11 which is work out, get a burrito.
02:08:14 The almond, what is it?
02:08:15 Chloe, get a Chloe.
02:08:16 - The shake.
02:08:18 - Yeah, the shake.
02:08:18 - The protein shake.
02:08:19 You rollin' out like, hey, we gotta get shakes.
02:08:21 You get the large Chloe.
02:08:22 - That's all I really remember.
02:08:24 I workin' out with that Chloe.
02:08:25 - Before two burritos?
02:08:26 - Yeah. - Oh, God.
02:08:27 - I gained 25 pounds.
02:08:28 - But so I was like, all right, let's make a thing of it.
02:08:30 And then Jeff had come down and visited me a couple times
02:08:33 and we all hit it off.
02:08:34 And so I was like, Jeff will fly in.
02:08:36 We'll make a full boys day of it.
02:08:38 We'll work out in the morning, do a whole deal.
02:08:40 We'll do the pod, boys day.
02:08:41 And you guys are down.
02:08:43 And then you guys take it from here.
02:08:45 - You wanna go first or second?
02:08:48 - Yeah, so yes.
02:08:51 Sunday after the Tennessee game,
02:08:53 you're gonna drive up to Nashville.
02:08:56 And we were talking about--
02:08:57 - I'm on my own dime, by the way.
02:08:58 - Yeah, it's everything.
02:09:00 - It's a business expense, but someone's paying for it.
02:09:01 It's not you.
02:09:02 - But you're getting jelly roll out of it.
02:09:05 And you're doing the bus.
02:09:05 I booked jelly roll just 'cause I was gonna be here.
02:09:08 - But you're like, hey, I'm gonna drive
02:09:10 from Knoxville to Nashville on Sunday.
02:09:13 We'll do a boys trip.
02:09:13 And grab the mic, by the way.
02:09:14 Jeff, you're just sitting back there.
02:09:15 You're not saying a fucking word for whatever reason.
02:09:18 And to that defense too, I do chime in
02:09:21 in the beast chat and Jeff, like, bro,
02:09:23 you don't have to have Caleb when you come out here.
02:09:24 Like, you can just come out here and we'll hang and we'll do
02:09:26 it. - That kinda makes me salty too.
02:09:27 It's like, well, it kinda does.
02:09:28 'Cause I'm the one who introduced you guys
02:09:30 and I'm the one who's prioritizing late life friends
02:09:33 and you guys are kinda trying to cut me out of this thing.
02:09:35 - I'm not trying to cut you out.
02:09:36 You're a busy dude too.
02:09:37 Like, to your point, there's been a lot of scheduling
02:09:40 issues and we've truly all been intentional
02:09:41 about trying to get something done.
02:09:43 Caleb's like, hey, this can be the weekend.
02:09:44 This can be the week.
02:09:45 'Cause we always say, it's probably like once a month,
02:09:47 this week seems like it'll work.
02:09:48 And then maybe me or he'll like, hey,
02:09:51 does this weekend work?
02:09:52 I'm like, oh, we're in LSU or we're here, we're there,
02:09:54 whatever, and it just, for whatever reason,
02:09:55 hasn't worked out.
02:09:56 I don't know if the LSU one's true, but--
02:09:58 - I don't know what you're talking about, dude.
02:09:59 - You'll push dates and sometimes I'll be like,
02:10:01 oh, can't do it. - This weekend.
02:10:02 - So this weekend you drive and we do before,
02:10:04 ahead of time, we're like, hey, you'll come out,
02:10:06 you'll stay at the house, do you have rooms?
02:10:07 I'm like, yeah, I got a couple extra rooms.
02:10:10 We ended up going out to Vegas, which is, again,
02:10:13 get back on Sunday, could still do it.
02:10:15 But with Thanksgiving week, the Pro Football Show
02:10:17 wanted to schedule us doing it on Monday,
02:10:20 like scheduling the Pro Football Show on Monday
02:10:22 because everybody's gonna be out of the office
02:10:23 on Wednesday throughout the Thanksgiving week.
02:10:26 So I let you know that and you're like, all right,
02:10:28 well, I'm gonna stay until late Tuesday.
02:10:31 So instead of being at your house,
02:10:32 since you gotta travel and do all this other stuff,
02:10:34 I'll just get a hotel.
02:10:36 We plan that out.
02:10:37 Then we get to Sunday, I land, I say, hey,
02:10:42 you hit me up on like, hey, we're gonna be in town
02:10:46 within an hour or something like that.
02:10:47 - I'm trying to get to the part when you guys
02:10:48 are not hanging out with me whenever I'm trying to hang out.
02:10:51 - And I say, hey, we were talking about watching football.
02:10:54 - I didn't see the clock going down.
02:10:54 I'm like, I got 45 more seconds.
02:10:56 We're playing on watching football on Sunday.
02:10:59 And I'm like, hey, we're making pizzas.
02:11:00 We can watch Sunday Night Football.
02:11:01 I know you wanna see Rue.
02:11:03 I know you wanna see Rue.
02:11:04 I'm like, Rue goes down to seven.
02:11:05 We hit Rue, Sunday Night Football,
02:11:06 we can make pizzas at the house.
02:11:08 And he said, don't worry about feeding me
02:11:09 'cause I'm in Whole Foods.
02:11:11 I got extra crust, I got extra things to make the pizzas
02:11:13 with the boys.
02:11:14 And you're like, don't worry about feeding us.
02:11:16 We might stop by.
02:11:17 Never heard from you again.
02:11:18 And then the next morning,
02:11:20 you knew I had to fly out to Chicago and then I get back.
02:11:24 I don't know the part after that, but.
02:11:25 - Hey, we scheduled the bus and pod for Tuesday
02:11:28 and I know you want us to work out, but you're like,
02:11:30 hey, we can't work out at six in the morning.
02:11:33 I know in my mind, Big B still work out
02:11:35 at six in the morning.
02:11:36 I know 6 a.m. is not your gig.
02:11:39 I don't wanna do 6 a.m. either.
02:11:40 Like a couple of sleepless nights in Vegas,
02:11:42 I don't wanna get up and do 6 a.m. either.
02:11:43 But when you have a kid, you wanna do the dad stuff.
02:11:46 We got a lot of shows we have to front in on the week
02:11:48 to where I was gone on Monday.
02:11:50 So on Tuesday, we had to do bed to bus,
02:11:52 soaps and pigs. - Dude, you can be a dad.
02:11:53 You can be a dad every day.
02:11:55 - Yeah, but I've been gone for a week.
02:11:56 I promise. - You can't be a dad
02:11:57 for a week. - This is the time.
02:11:58 - It's once in a row.
02:11:59 - This is the time where I gotta pull out the,
02:12:01 you don't have kids, you don't get it.
02:12:02 One day you'll get it.
02:12:03 - No, dude, I understand kids and they're there every day.
02:12:05 They are there every single day.
02:12:07 I'm here one day.
02:12:08 - But when you're saying, "Dad, dad,"
02:12:11 when you do it, it doesn't hit different.
02:12:13 It hits way different than when Lil Rude does it.
02:12:14 And she's always asking where I'm in and it makes me sad.
02:12:17 And I'm like, I gotta be,
02:12:18 I want to be in front of my daughter.
02:12:19 So that's why I do it early.
02:12:21 - But you, oh, okay.
02:12:22 - So I get the hour before I'm gone all day.
02:12:24 - I'm trying to think of something to say
02:12:25 that's bad about kids.
02:12:26 Like make them sound like it's good,
02:12:29 like 'cause everyone knows that kids are good.
02:12:32 - But the ultimate goal.
02:12:33 - The way that you're presenting it is like
02:12:35 you couldn't have changed the workout time
02:12:37 from six to 1130.
02:12:39 - But then if I think about the homies in the back
02:12:42 who bust their ass to do all the production,
02:12:44 you know your team crew.
02:12:45 They want to be done for Thanksgiving
02:12:46 and get out as soon as possible.
02:12:47 So they're always- - Make them work.
02:12:50 - Dude, they have a job.
02:12:51 It's a job, right?
02:12:53 But it's their job.
02:12:54 - Quality of life.
02:12:55 - Yeah, but quality of life, Caleb.
02:12:56 - Quality of life. - That's on them
02:12:57 to negotiate that.
02:12:58 It's y'all's job to make them work.
02:13:00 But if they're like, hey, can we get this-
02:13:02 - Let's talk about Monday real quick.
02:13:04 - Well, Monday also- - Or Sunday.
02:13:05 No, Sunday.
02:13:06 - You didn't come to the breakfast club this morning.
02:13:10 - I was asleep.
02:13:11 - In your defense, this was more targeted at Taylor.
02:13:13 I know you just defended yourself.
02:13:14 That was really all targeted at Taylor.
02:13:15 - Perfect, I'm ready.
02:13:16 (laughing)
02:13:17 - So actually, I didn't have any problems
02:13:18 with how you acted.
02:13:19 I hugged a couple of times
02:13:20 just for everybody watching.
02:13:21 - So Caleb calls me on Sunday and he's like,
02:13:23 hey, what are you doing for the game tomorrow night?
02:13:26 I was like, well, I got the kids.
02:13:27 I wanna be around the kids.
02:13:27 I gotta put the kids down.
02:13:28 So why don't you guys come over?
02:13:29 He goes, oh, Beast, yeah, we're gonna do that.
02:13:31 We're gonna sit on the couch, best couch of all time.
02:13:32 We're gonna have a great time.
02:13:33 We're gonna have snacks.
02:13:34 It's gonna be awesome.
02:13:35 - We can move on.
02:13:35 Let's move on. - Me and Beast
02:13:36 are coming over.
02:13:37 - No.
02:13:38 - I go, I know I'm-
02:13:39 - If you need to chime in, Beast, do it.
02:13:40 - All right, hold on, hold on.
02:13:41 - People don't care about this anymore.
02:13:42 We can move on. - So Monday,
02:13:42 Monday I sit in-
02:13:43 - People don't care about this.
02:13:44 This is interrelationship quarrels.
02:13:46 This is pro accountability right now.
02:13:48 - Monday, I sit in the pod.
02:13:49 I do the intro, all that.
02:13:50 You're doing pro football, football shows.
02:13:52 So I'm taking the whole show down.
02:13:54 I get to my phone after I see a text from Caleb.
02:13:56 My heart sinks.
02:13:58 I'm like, he's probably just doubling down.
02:14:00 Hey, can't wait to see you tonight.
02:14:01 Voice message, a minute 30 long,
02:14:03 essentially explaining how
02:14:04 they're not gonna come over tonight
02:14:06 and they're gonna go watch it at a bar.
02:14:07 And I wanna come to the bar and watch it over.
02:14:09 - All my screw.
02:14:11 All Ernest's crew.
02:14:12 I was like, he doesn't want all these people around his kids.
02:14:13 These people are bad people.
02:14:15 - No way, my kid's gotta see that.
02:14:17 - These people are bad.
02:14:18 - These kids, these people have-
02:14:18 - See what your daddy hangs out with.
02:14:19 - These people have no morals.
02:14:21 - Love that.
02:14:21 - I'm just talking about them.
02:14:22 Like, they're just, you don't want your kids around.
02:14:24 I was like, I don't want his kids to see them
02:14:27 and they try to grow up dressed like a skater
02:14:30 and you know, wear vans every day,
02:14:32 even though they can't skateboard.
02:14:34 - I just look down at your vans.
02:14:36 - Are you wearing vans?
02:14:38 - Yeah, the best shoe of all time.
02:14:40 - Best shoe of all time, is it not?
02:14:42 Boom.
02:14:43 - No, I'm just kidding.
02:14:44 No, no, people don't care about this.
02:14:45 We can move on.
02:14:46 - Taylor, I think the accountability he's getting at
02:14:48 is we had a coffee date this morning.
02:14:50 Me, CP, Willie.
02:14:51 - Eight o'clock in the morning, Ethan Rose.
02:14:53 - Eight a.m.
02:14:53 - I texted you last night.
02:14:54 I said, listen, I'll greet him.
02:14:55 - You were a no show, no text, no show.
02:14:57 - Where was it?
02:14:58 - You guys texted at 108 in the morning.
02:15:00 I was already asleep and yeah, Vegas got the best of me.
02:15:03 - But I said-
02:15:04 - I was like, I'm gonna keep this up.
02:15:05 - He overslept till 830.
02:15:06 - I slept till 830.
02:15:07 - You gotta be on call all the time
02:15:09 when the boys are in the town.
02:15:10 I said-
02:15:11 - Hey, guess what?
02:15:12 - Coffee, 8 a.m. tomorrow, no excuses.
02:15:14 Don't care how many kids you have.
02:15:16 That's what I said.
02:15:17 - Yeah, yeah, yeah.
02:15:17 - At what time?
02:15:18 - I know your kids were up at 7 a.m.
02:15:20 - They were and I was frustrated.
02:15:21 - I saw you saw the text.
02:15:22 You could have made it there.
02:15:23 - I slept 22 hours in the last two days.
02:15:25 - That's pretty good.
02:15:26 Maybe same.
02:15:27 - Oversleep doesn't make the shot.
02:15:28 And also, you know how we were trying to cram
02:15:30 to get the interview in?
02:15:31 15 minutes late to our first show this morning.
02:15:33 You guys are-
02:15:36 - Today was a tough day.
02:15:36 - You guys are my only-
02:15:38 - Today was a tough day for me.
02:15:39 - You guys are my late-life friends,
02:15:40 but you guys are the worst hosts-
02:15:45 - Don't do that.
02:15:46 - I'm having a guess on.
02:15:46 - Can I ask you a question?
02:15:47 - Don't do that.
02:15:48 - Can I ask you a question before you get off?
02:15:49 - You didn't even give me the address to get here.
02:15:51 - That was on me.
02:15:52 - I was on my way, like, how do I get there?
02:15:53 - You've been here a bunch of times.
02:15:55 - Yeah, well, I knew the address,
02:15:56 but I wanted you guys to give-
02:15:58 I want something out of you.
02:15:59 I can't see you.
02:16:01 I can't hang out with you.
02:16:02 I can't lift weights with you.
02:16:04 Can't get coffee with you.
02:16:05 I just want the address to where we're going.
02:16:08 - Can I ask you something?
02:16:09 Where do you want to go next year for our boys trip?
02:16:11 - Nebraska.
02:16:13 - Nebraska, Colorado?
02:16:14 - Yeah.
02:16:17 - Nebraska, Colorado.
02:16:17 - Yeah.
02:16:18 - Done.
02:16:19 - And then we'll go to UNC one year, but-
02:16:21 - No.
02:16:22 - Beast, you gotta come.
02:16:23 - I'm there.
02:16:23 I'm there, bro.
02:16:24 - Yeah, I was feeling, I had the guilt climbing up.
02:16:28 - Yeah, I feel bad about the last 15 minutes
02:16:30 'cause I feel like it's bad.
02:16:31 Let's do more.
02:16:33 - You wanna do 15 more minutes?
02:16:33 - Let's do 15 more minutes and make it good
02:16:35 'cause that was bad and I feel bad.
02:16:36 - Let's get super positive.
02:16:36 - That was real emotions coming out of me,
02:16:38 which made me look bad.
02:16:39 So I would like that.
02:16:40 - No, no, not at all.
02:16:41 - I would like to be glossed over.
02:16:42 - There's nothing wrong with checking
02:16:43 your boys on accountability.
02:16:44 - I care too much.
02:16:45 - Every bro group has these, you know, these dust-ups.
02:16:48 Every bro group has these dust-ups.
02:16:49 - Not everything's sunshine and rainbows.
02:16:50 - I know, but I wish it didn't hurt me
02:16:51 as bad as you guys hurt me.
02:16:53 - You wanna get over the top?
02:16:54 - I just wish that-
02:16:55 - Yeah, get over the top.
02:16:56 - Hey, you're the man, dude.
02:16:57 - Nah, that doesn't sound genuine.
02:16:59 - Well, I was gonna-
02:17:00 - That's a genuine plow.
02:17:01 - I was gonna continue, but I couldn't even breathe
02:17:04 before you said that wasn't genuine.
02:17:05 - You're right, you're right.
02:17:07 - You're the man and you are the staple
02:17:10 of our late life friends.
02:17:12 - You're making me feel so uncomfortable.
02:17:13 - Because of you-
02:17:14 - We already said that we don't like doing this.
02:17:15 - Because of you-
02:17:16 - No, keep going, I'm all right.
02:17:17 - We are going to be able to have this friendship
02:17:19 last a lifetime.
02:17:20 - Hey, quit, bro.
02:17:21 - You are special.
02:17:22 - Quit.
02:17:23 - Your personality's special.
02:17:23 - Quit.
02:17:24 - The individual you are.
02:17:26 - Cut it out.
02:17:27 You cut it out.
02:17:28 - And ultimately all of this is,
02:17:29 it just shows that we all care.
02:17:32 We all care that the homies get together.
02:17:34 Which is what matters.
02:17:35 - So, Zach's up at home, Monday, 6 a.m.
02:17:37 And the only person that takes a picture is Will,
02:17:39 'cause his priorities are straight.
02:17:40 Yeah, I slept in.
02:17:41 - I wanna say something too.
02:17:42 - Yesterday, I slept in.
02:17:43 - I wanna say something too.
02:17:44 Jeff took a picture of the weights in our hotel
02:17:47 and he did not work out.
02:17:48 He went by that room and he took a picture,
02:17:49 and that's true.
02:17:50 - That's false.
02:17:51 I was in the weight room, you were sleeping.
02:17:52 - He was in the weight room, he took a picture,
02:17:53 and he left, and he did not work out.
02:17:55 - You didn't work out?
02:17:56 - Accountability, I didn't work out.
02:17:57 (laughing)
02:18:00 - I woke up hurt on Monday morning,
02:18:04 I was looking for a cold plunge,
02:18:05 they didn't have one at the W.
02:18:07 I walk in the weight room,
02:18:08 because you sent us the pic from Boost with the big weight.
02:18:10 So I just snapped a pic of the dumbbells,
02:18:13 sent it to the group, Beast was like, "Let's go."
02:18:15 He's at it.
02:18:15 - I was fired up, 'cause none of, you know,
02:18:18 obviously we didn't have the 6 a.m. plan,
02:18:19 like I just figured that that wasn't happening.
02:18:22 And so, like Taylor, he was like,
02:18:23 "Hey, send me your workout like the night before."
02:18:25 And when I was the only one there,
02:18:27 I think we call ourselves the Beast chat.
02:18:29 I'm like, "Everybody wants to be a Beast,
02:18:29 "and so you have to do a Beast deal."
02:18:31 - I know, that's why.
02:18:32 - And then I thought Beast was--
02:18:34 - I flexed, I flexed for the chat, for sure.
02:18:37 Accountability.
02:18:38 - I'm so disappointed in myself.
02:18:39 I can see how I could've handled this week better.
02:18:41 It's on me.
02:18:42 - It's all good, we love each other, man.
02:18:43 Thanks, hey, thanks, can we wrap it up?
02:18:46 Are we good to wrap it up?
02:18:47 Thanks for coming on.
02:18:48 You've been tough to get.
02:18:49 I'm hoping every podcast after this,
02:18:50 try to get Caleb, 'cause he does let me know
02:18:52 when he turns podcasts down.
02:18:54 Took a lot of heat last week.
02:18:55 The Eddie, the Dog Walk Boys had to remove the pod.
02:18:57 That one will now be coming out.
02:18:58 That was clearly based on the honor and gamesmanship
02:19:03 that Caleb has as a boy to hold, say,
02:19:06 "Hey, I said I would do nothing
02:19:07 "until I went on Bustin' with the Boys."
02:19:08 So thank you for finally coming on Bustin' with the Boys.
02:19:11 - Appreciate it.
02:19:12 Should we do 15 more minutes?
02:19:14 (laughing)
02:19:15 - What, tell us a story, what do you--
02:19:16 - I'm starting to have fun right now.
02:19:18 - Tell us a story.
02:19:19 - I'm getting anxiety that I don't have anything
02:19:20 for Jelly Roll, so I'm like,
02:19:21 as long as I'm here, this is going well.
02:19:23 That's gonna go poorly.
02:19:24 I don't wanna transition to the poor part.
02:19:26 - Jelly's gonna be the easiest one.
02:19:26 - Yeah, he's gonna be easy.
02:19:27 - He's one of the best, bro, and we're not fucking around.
02:19:30 He's one of the best.
02:19:30 - You need to make sure the cremate joke hits.
02:19:32 - That's Ernest's joke.
02:19:33 I will do it, and it probably will hit,
02:19:35 but I'm definitely gonna attribute that to Ernest.
02:19:37 - Say it again.
02:19:39 - I'm trying to think how to,
02:19:42 I'm worried if I say it, I'm worried if I just say,
02:19:45 you have to be cremated, that people will just think
02:19:47 I'm saying something that's random.
02:19:48 Like, I'm trying to be funny because it's random.
02:19:50 But what I'm trying to get at is that that's a lot of land.
02:19:54 - That's why I think when it comes back around,
02:19:57 it's gonna be hilarious.
02:19:59 - We had some other funny ones.
02:20:00 - Do you guys in the back have anything?
02:20:01 Listen to any of these conversations?
02:20:04 Oh, gee, why'd you come on?
02:20:06 - Can we talk about Riggs?
02:20:12 - Yeah.
02:20:14 (laughing)
02:20:15 - Is he a cool guy or no?
02:20:17 - Did you have any, did you have--
02:20:18 - That's a question.
02:20:20 - Was there any, yes, he is.
02:20:22 With the, you know, how they talked about the golf brands
02:20:25 and everything coming in, when you were doing 51 Strokes,
02:20:27 was there any friction going on with 51 Strokes
02:20:30 or any of your golf content?
02:20:31 - Yeah, like, I mean, if you see someone who's doing
02:20:33 something that's similar to what you're doing,
02:20:35 you have a little bit of a salty feeling.
02:20:37 You don't even hate the person, you're not mad about it,
02:20:40 but you get a little salty, it's human nature.
02:20:42 But I know all those guys are all cool guys,
02:20:44 so I'm not like mad at them.
02:20:45 - Yeah, yeah, yeah.
02:20:46 - But like, I mean, I did golf,
02:20:47 they didn't do anything with me, ever.
02:20:49 - Did you ask to?
02:20:50 - Yeah, tons.
02:20:52 And they said no every time, so.
02:20:54 - That's the thing, it's like, I do get,
02:20:56 'cause you're right, like, there's a level of like,
02:20:58 you're checking on your competition,
02:20:59 you're doing all these things,
02:21:01 but ultimately, if you get outside of that
02:21:02 and think like big picture,
02:21:03 there's enough eyes and ears for everybody,
02:21:06 and it ultimately lifts everybody's brand up.
02:21:08 - Yeah, I think so.
02:21:09 But you gotta go back to the human nature part of it,
02:21:11 like, you just want, you just don't want people
02:21:13 coming into your house and stepping on your territory.
02:21:16 If someone does a Sunday conversation
02:21:18 that's like something similar to what I'm doing,
02:21:20 I'm gonna be kind of salty.
02:21:22 - So if Zach Galifianakis came back,
02:21:24 would you be a little salty?
02:21:25 (Zach laughing)
02:21:28 - Yeah, I mean, I think what he did was insane.
02:21:36 - Hey, was he, who's like your inspiration
02:21:40 behind all of this Sunday conversation?
02:21:42 - You nailed it.
02:21:42 - Oh, I know, I know, Zach, but is there more out there?
02:21:44 - That's actually not true.
02:21:45 That was probably the funniest thing you've ever said,
02:21:47 but that was not, that's not true.
02:21:48 - No, no, that was hilarious.
02:21:50 I just always have done that my entire life.
02:21:51 I've just done like, I like to make,
02:21:54 get in that weird pocket with people.
02:21:57 When I was a little kid, I tell this story all the time,
02:21:59 is before I knew right from wrong,
02:22:01 I was probably 10 years old, I would act like
02:22:02 I was in Myrtle Beach and walk around with my cousins.
02:22:05 We'd get in elevators with older people,
02:22:08 older people, and I would act like I was,
02:22:10 I would act like I was mentally handicapped.
02:22:12 - Let me, let me, let us take that back.
02:22:14 We just, my cousin, we just had to put him.
02:22:17 We just had to put him down.
02:22:19 Did you see that clip?
02:22:20 - Yeah, yeah, yeah.
02:22:21 No, I mean, that's true though.
02:22:23 I act like I was mentally handicapped,
02:22:25 but I did that when I was little.
02:22:27 That was like a fun thing me and my cousins did.
02:22:28 We'd be on vacation and I would just walk around
02:22:30 and like look at people the same way,
02:22:31 do something in conversation, act exactly the same.
02:22:33 I was 10 years old with 50 year old people in the elevator,
02:22:36 and we'd just give them a little razz.
02:22:38 We'd razz them.
02:22:38 We'd yank their chain.
02:22:39 - You like the awkward humor.
02:22:41 You enjoy the awkward space of--
02:22:43 - I've always liked that.
02:22:44 I've always done that.
02:22:45 I don't know.
02:22:46 I just always done this.
02:22:47 When I did the interview, they're like,
02:22:48 interview these people, do it to them,
02:22:50 and then it's similar to Between Two Ferns,
02:22:53 which is hilarious.
02:22:55 Good joke though.
02:22:59 - Oh, thank you, thank you.
02:23:00 Thanks for coming on, brother.
02:23:01 Sunday Convo Bump, we're about to get, so thank you.
02:23:03 - All right.
02:23:05 - Awkward.
02:23:06 (laughs)
02:23:08 (upbeat music)
02:23:11 (upbeat music)
02:23:13 [BLANK_AUDIO]
