00:11 The Home Improvement star was snapped in Southern California last week,
00:15 enjoying a walk while carrying what appeared to be a coffee thermos.

00:20 "Well, it was hit by..."
00:23 "Don't say lightning."
00:24 "Wind."
00:27 That's JTT donning a brown Lacoste sweater over a green t-shirt with jeans and New Balance sneakers.
00:34 "You know, it feels good to know that, you know, everything that you've put into it,
00:39 you know, the people like it."
00:40 The former child star, who famously voiced young Simba in the 1994 Disney classic The Lion King,
00:47 "But I thought a king can do whatever he wants."
00:49 "Oh, there's more to being king than getting you away all the time."
00:53 "There's more?"
00:54 hadn't been seen in public since July 2021.
00:58 And prior to that outing, Jonathan hadn't been seen in nearly eight years.
01:03 The last time Jonathan was on TV was when he reunited with his Home Improvement dad,
01:09 Tim Allen, on his sitcom Last Man Standing.

01:14 "Man, you look familiar."
01:21 "Well, you know, I used to work with Kristen."
01:23 "That's not it."
01:25 JTT was in four episodes of the series between 2013 and 2015, and also directed three episodes.
01:35 Prior to that, he hadn't been on TV since a 2005 appearance on Veronica Mars.

01:46 Norris kept a website that was troubling."
01:51 The former teen heartthrob stepped out of the spotlight to study at Harvard University,
01:55 before graduating in 2010 from Columbia University.

02:09 Back in 2020, ET sat down with his Wild America co-star, Devin Sawa,
02:15 who said he last spoke to his friend a few years ago,
02:18 adding that Jonathan was trying to do a mockumentary with Macaulay Culkin.
02:23 "Never ended up going anywhere, but it was good to speak to him. I always had a feeling that,
02:27 from doing school with him, that he was going to go off and do things other than acting,
02:31 because he was just so smart. And so to find out he went off to Harvard and
02:37 took a different road was not surprising. But I'm, you know, he's, I miss him. He's a good guy."
02:44 And speaking of 90s icons, ET was with Macaulay last week,
02:49 as he received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
02:52 "Sharing this moment with your two boys, what does that mean to you?"
02:55 "That's the whole reason. It's the reason to do this. It's the reason,
03:01 pretty much, to do anything now. I love the fact that my boys can come here and
03:05 see a dog pee on my name."
