00:03 Singing with it. Let's go.
00:05 Ludacris shocks fans rappelling from the ceiling of the Mercedes-Benz Stadium
00:11 while performing one of his "Krunk" classics.
00:14 We gon' move, Krunk.
00:16 "Krunk" is about getting live. It's about being happy. It's about being right.
00:22 It's about feeling a certain type of energy.
00:25 Yeah, instead of rocking the traditional stage,
00:28 Ludacris celebrated 50 years of hip-hop by putting the rap in rappelling,
00:33 shooting out of the rafters to perform his hit "Move" midair.
00:38 Oh no! I'm gonna fly south. I'm about to touch down.
00:42 That's a great opportunity.
00:45 The Fast X star pulled off the acrobatic stunt
00:48 as his home team, the Atlanta Falcons, faced off against the New Orleans Saints.
00:53 Check out Luda free-flying in the air, rapping like it's business as usual.
00:59 Move, Krunk. Get out the way.
01:01 The Falcons took home the win, and Luda's death-defying performance was the cherry on top.
01:07 Let's go. We gon' move, Krunk.
01:10 You know what I mean?
01:11 Luda posted all about the stunt on Instagram,
01:14 showing love to the city that raised him and getting a ton of love in return.
01:18 Kevin Hart hyped him up with a "Yes, sir!" A legend doing legendary-ish.
01:24 Tyler, the creator, said "Wow, amazing!"
01:27 And the game summed it all up with a fire emoji.
01:30 That's exactly how it should be.
01:32 Now, while it seemed like Luda had the time of his life,
01:36 his wife, Edoxie, well, she was sweating bullets.
01:42 Writing on Instagram, "Whew, my nerves."
01:45 And once the performance ended, she asked for a drink.
01:49 Hey, get the milk, man.
01:51 But Luda wasn't the only hip-hop star celebrating the genre's milestone birthday.
01:57 I've been rapping my whole life, and it took me a good decade to even get put on the way I wanted to in the industry.
02:02 He was also joined in the stadium by fellow ATL icons TLC, T.I., Jermaine Dupri, Big Boi, and more.
02:11 [music]
02:16 The star-studded performance comes just weeks after Luda joined another Atlanta native, Usher, on stage for his residency in Las Vegas.
02:25 [music]
02:30 But the million-dollar question remains, could we see Luda join Usher during the singer's Super Bowl halftime show?
02:37 I mean, that's a secret that only people will understand or know when it airs.
02:43 [laughs]
02:44 If he calls you for Super Bowl, are you in?
02:46 If he makes that call, of course. Like, I'm not gonna say no to that. That's a great opportunity, and that's my friend.
02:51 We've been friends for a long time. So, yeah, if he makes that call, then of course I would be in.
02:56 [music]
02:59 Leave it to Luda always taking his career to new heights.
