The U.S. also shared information about the purported plot with some allies after Prime Minister Narendra Modi's June visit to Washington DC.

Additionally, the U.S. Department of Justice (DoJ) has reportedly filed a sealed indictment in a New York court against one of the accused, and another individual charged in the case has left the U.S. The DoJ is currently deliberating on whether to unseal the indictment, according to the report.
