01:03 Datuk Sri Zafro Tg.
01:04 Abdul Aziz launched the car on Tuesday and said the S70 enables Proton to return to the
01:10 C-segment compact sedan market after the success of their sport utility vehicle models.
01:16 He also noted that Malaysia is the only country in ASEAN with two homegrown original equipment

01:23 "So as at the end of October, the TIV, the total industry volume, has grown by 11.6%
01:30 over 2022.
01:31 With slightly more than a month remaining for this year, we are on track to break the

01:41 I've also taken note that Proton is becoming one of Malaysia's main exporters of vehicles.
01:48 Although the numbers remain relatively small, but Miti would like to challenge Proton.
01:56 Can we see a rapid expansion on the bank of the introduction of new models?"
02:03 He also said that Malaysia's automotive industry has contributed more than $30 billion to the
02:07 gross domestic product, with an annual production output of over 500,000 vehicles.
02:14 Tengku Zafro also highlighted that Malaysia's broader strategy is to leverage the growth
