00:00 Yesterday, a police officer was arrested after he was asked to shoot a restaurant bar in Quezon City.

00:08 The arrested police officer is still active in the service even though he was fired from his job.

00:13 He was called a hit and run.

00:16 Sandra Ginaldo was shot.

00:18 Police officers stopped the car that their new police lieutenant colonel Mark Julio Abong was driving.

00:29 He was trying to get out of the car even though there was no clearance

00:32 after he was arrested in a restaurant bar in Quezon City.

00:35 Allegedly, the waiter was being valued by a PNP member.

00:39 And there was a reason for the loss.

00:46 The police officer got out and was suddenly fired twice.

00:51 Abong was shot.

00:54 This is not the first time that Abong was arrested.

00:57 He was the chief of the QCPD Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit.

01:01 But he was fired after he was caught in a hit and run that was committed by a tricycle driver in August 2022.

01:09 He was found guilty by the People's Law Enforcement Board or PLEB for the incident.

01:15 That's why he was dismissed from the service.

01:17 But based on the initial investigation by the QCPD,

01:21 Abong is still an active member of the PNP in the Legal Service Department in the PNP National Headquarters.

01:28 According to the QCPD-CDU, they are related to Abong's mother unit and are related to his status.
