00:00 >> So what is it?
00:02 >> Before we get into the football,
00:03 just talk about a little bit about your,
00:05 what's your Thanksgiving favorite tradition about the holiday?
00:09 >> Really, I don't like Thanksgiving like that.
00:11 I mean, just being appreciative, I guess that's cool, but
00:13 I don't really like Thanksgiving food like that.
00:16 >> What about Christmas?
00:17 >> Like when you start to have kids, Christmas is just another day.
00:23 >> [LAUGH] >> It's another day that, but
00:28 I mean, I don't know.
00:28 I mean, for me, I didn't grow up with like, really celebrating holidays.
00:32 We can never really afford it.
00:33 So for me, it's just whatever.
00:36 >> In this Chiefs week, is there a different vibe this week when it's the Chiefs?
00:41 >> Nah, man, I mean, not for me.
00:44 Obviously, they are who they are.
00:48 It's gonna be a good opponent to play.
00:52 So I don't know, we'll see how it play out.
00:55 So. >> Antonio was talking about the offense
00:58 has to run through you, that you gotta keep running, you gotta get 20,
01:01 25 carries a game.
01:02 But how fine is that line between doing that and if you're not having any success,
01:07 keep doing it, you're just kind of smashing your head up against the wall if
01:09 you're not having success.
01:10 >> I don't think it's about 25 carries, I think it's about 25 touches.
01:14 So however you get it, it could be in a pass game, it could be wherever.
01:17 But I think, yeah, a minimum, I gotta touch the ball a minimum of 20 times,
01:22 I feel like just because the way I run and
01:25 the way I aspire to God, the style of play, I feel like it's contagious.
01:31 So for me, I feel like I gotta get at least 20 touches some type of way,
01:35 Tate gotta get at least 15, and that's just kind of what I believe.
01:39 >> That long run that you broke off to help win the Jets,
01:42 I think it was the Jets game, but it was late in the game.
01:45 I mean, is that kind of what you're talking about in terms of breaking dudes
01:48 down and being able to not necessarily break their will?
01:52 >> Yeah, I mean, after a while, I feel like after a while,
01:57 you tackle somebody ten times, you're gonna start to feel that.
02:00 After a while, so at the end of the game, it starts to wear on you,
02:03 regardless if you really wanna do it or not.
02:06 It starts getting a little bit harder and harder each time.
02:09 So I think for me, man, my mentality and the way that I approach the game,
02:14 I try to attack every time, every time I'm on the field.
02:16 So I think that the coaches know that,
02:18 and I feel like we're starting to get that understanding.
02:23 >> How different is the scheme now with Bo calling the plays as opposed to when
02:26 it wasn't before?
02:27 Was it basically the same thing, just kind of filtered a little bit?
02:30 >> Well, I feel like it's more player-oriented.
02:32 It's not so much aces and noes, it's more so what we do,
02:37 we feel like we do well, and trying to get our play, make the football more,
02:41 the kind of scheme is different than we play against.
02:45 >> Josh, have you talked to the league?
02:47 It seems like you're just making football plays.
02:49 It seems kind of ridiculous, what's going on?
02:51 What are you supposed to do?
02:52 >> Man, look, the head of the NFLPA hit me up.
02:56 He was like, we had a long conversation about the bonds and things like that.
03:01 I'm not too much worried about it, man.
03:02 At the end of the day, I play my style of football.
03:04 I don't know what they want me to do when I'm going against two guys that's 40
03:08 pounds more than me, and I'm trying to get a yard.
03:11 I don't know if they expect me to run hard or get, I don't know.
03:13 But at the end of the day, man, I'm gonna play my brand of football.
03:17 Obviously, I don't intentionally go out there and try to hit with my helmet or
03:21 hurt anyone, but at the end of the day, if I gotta get them, I'm gonna get them.
03:25 So it just is what it is.
03:28 >> Thanks, man. >> Yeah, no problem.
03:29 >> [LAUGH]
