Las Vegas Raiders rookie WR Tre Tucker spoke from the locker room ahead of hosting the Kansas City Chiefs this weekend.
Transcript
00:00 >> All righty, here with Trey Tucker.
00:02 Trey, how you guys feeling heading into Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs?
00:05 >> I'm feeling great.
00:05 It was, I mean, obviously a tough loss at the Dolphins, but it was a really good game.
00:11 It's a really good team, so I think for us, it's business as usual.
00:16 Kansas City is a really good team as well, so we'll have our hands full.
00:20 But I know we're excited, and we'll shoot a good game.
00:23 >> I know losses are tough to take of any kind, especially when they're a close loss.
00:27 But how are you guys feeling after that game?
00:28 Are you guys feeling at least a little bit proud of yourselves?
00:30 You guys hung with them, you guys had a chance to win late.
00:33 Is that something you guys kind of take with you going forward?
00:35 >> Yeah, I think I was growing up, no one says, we get more victories,
00:41 cuz it's not a win in a column like them days.
00:44 But I think for us, the positive we'll take away from us,
00:48 there was things that was us, we had nothing to do with the Dolphins.
00:51 What they did, it was us.
00:53 That's always a good situation you wanna have,
00:55 because that's what practice is for.
00:56 So when you come back in a day like today, and obviously we practice the rest
01:01 of the week, we try and fix those things, correct those things.
01:04 So when they come up again in the game, we can execute.
01:06 >> Exactly, so Bo, obviously over the last few weeks,
01:09 it seems like he's made it a point to get as many people involved as possible.
01:13 Is that something you've noticed?
01:14 Have you noticed a difference in terms of that over the last three, four weeks?
01:17 >> Yeah, I think Bo's very creative.
01:22 I mean, but I think you have to realize, he got Devonta Adams.
01:26 So no matter what we're doing, he's the best for a reason.
01:30 So a lot of it runs through him, which as it should.
01:33 But you're definitely starting to see that,
01:36 that when teams decide to put two or three guys on,
01:39 there's gotta be somebody else that steps up.
01:41 Cuz I mean, no matter, I know he can make those plays for two, three guys, but
01:45 still, it's logic.
01:46 You got three guys on one.
01:47 So when there's opportunities for other people to make plays,
01:50 obviously, Jacobi's a tremendous team, which I love him.
01:55 You know what I mean?
01:56 But yeah, all of us, you know what I mean?
01:57 Even Hunt, as you see, crazy man, crazy man.
02:00 But I think, like I just said, whenever that plays come in where there's
02:04 a man-covered zone, and they're gonna try to do something to take away 17,
02:08 you gotta make that play.
02:10 >> So obviously you guys are playing Kansas City this Sunday.
02:12 You're back at home.
02:14 Your first time playing Kansas City, correct?
02:15 >> Yeah. >> How you feeling about that?
02:17 >> I'm excited, man.
02:18 Obviously, we talked a lot of teams through our pre-draft, and
02:21 that was one of them that I talked to quite a bit.
02:23 So my boys actually over there, Ryan Cook,
02:25 I played with him at Cincinnati a few years.
02:27 And they've been really good, years and years.
02:31 And one of the guys I studied most coming out of college,
02:34 Tyree Kill played there a while ago, obviously.
02:36 So I'm very familiar with them.
02:38 And I know it'll be home, so it'll be interesting to finally see.
02:43 You're going out there, you're going against these people, not watching them on
02:45 TV, seeing like Casual Gomes, all those guys.
02:48 Like I said, my guys play there, so it'll be interesting to be a part of it.
02:52 >> In terms of the next six games, four of those are at home.
02:56 Is that something that you guys as the players take note of?
02:58 If so, is that something you're excited about, or
03:00 is it just home away doesn't really matter to you?
03:02 >> I think at the end of the day, it shouldn't matter, but it does mean something.
03:06 I said it doesn't matter where we play, but
03:08 it does mean something that we're at home.
03:09 So it's our home, so you wanna have a house, you wanna take care of your house.
03:14 People come into it, so yeah, it does mean something to us.
03:19 And I'm sure the heightened sense of awareness that we're at home,
03:25 it should be a good game.
03:27 >> Thanks, man.
