00:00 Do we think Matthew and Nev are a little jealous of our reunion?
00:05 My first kiss was on camera.
00:06 Did you have any crushes on any of the love interests?
00:10 What secret have you kept from your own child?
00:13 I love you.
00:17 Wait, wait, wait, wait.
00:18 Is it welcome to Spilling the Tea, or and this is?
00:21 And we're Spilling the E.T.
00:22 And we're Spilling the E.T.
00:24 Hey, I'm Scott Wolf.
00:25 And I'm Lacey Chabert.
00:26 And we're Spilling the E.T.
00:29 Cheers.
00:29 Cheers.
00:31 Do we think Matthew and Nev are a little jealous of our reunion?
00:36 Oh my goodness.
00:37 I love them both so much.
00:40 It's so special.
00:41 I just want to say quickly, when you're cast in something,
00:43 you don't know if you're going to get along.
00:45 You don't know if you're going to hit it off.
00:46 And I feel like from the moment they said,
00:48 you're our salingers in that room,
00:50 and told us that we got the job on the spot,
00:52 we were all forever connected.
00:54 And I know when I posted the first picture about this,
00:56 Nev was one of the first to comment,
00:58 oh my gosh, my brother and sister.
01:01 I love them both.
01:03 Yeah, I would probably say not jealous, but happy.
01:06 Yeah.
01:07 Does it ever make us think of getting the entire gang back
01:09 together?
01:09 What would the salingers be up to?
01:12 I mean, it makes me think about it.
01:14 I would want to know what they're up to.
01:16 Yeah.
01:17 I mean, that time was so indelible.
01:19 And I'm sure you have the same experience where all of us
01:23 have done other things since.
01:24 But there was definitely something
01:26 about the way Party at Five resonated with the audience
01:28 that when people come up and talk about it,
01:31 it's like it was on last Wednesday.
01:32 You're so right.
01:33 You know?
01:34 Yeah.
01:34 It hasn't been like decades for people.
01:36 And so I would love to see what the salingers are up to.
01:40 I think they look great.
01:41 I think they do.
01:42 That much I know.
01:43 I just don't know what they're doing.
01:45 I don't know what they're doing.
01:46 Do you remember we did that one episode?
01:47 I don't remember which season, but it was a flash forward.
01:50 And it was like, what would happen to the characters
01:52 if they had been on a different path
01:53 and the parents hadn't passed away?
01:54 Right.
01:54 It was a glimpse of the future.
01:56 Yeah.
01:56 And I loved that idea.
01:57 And to think about doing that in a bigger way
02:00 now would be really fun.
02:02 What is something on the set of Party at Five
02:05 that our fans might not know about?
02:09 Well, I don't know.
02:10 Maybe people don't realize that we filmed the show at Sony
02:14 Studios in Culver City.
02:15 Right.
02:16 And then we would go to San Francisco--
02:18 Yes.
02:18 --once a year and do a lot of exteriors.
02:20 Because the show was--
02:21 Make postcards.
02:21 Yes.
02:23 All the beautiful San Francisco sights.
02:24 Yeah.
02:25 Hi, I'm Lacey Chabert, and I'm with Party at Five.
02:28 I think for me, personally, it's that a lot of the storylines
02:31 were actually things that I hadn't yet
02:33 experienced in real life or was actually
02:35 going through in real life.
02:36 A lot of us, like truly--
02:38 not just me, a lot of us grew up on the show, right?
02:40 Yeah.
02:41 My first kiss was on camera.
02:42 And I remember the crew also understood that it was
02:44 my real life first kiss.
02:46 Everyone was like--
02:47 Yeah.
02:48 So I was going to ask you--
02:49 Please don't look.
02:49 And you don't have to give names.
02:52 OK.
02:52 But were there any-- because you were old enough
02:55 at some point.
02:55 Oh, no.
02:55 I know what you're about to say.
02:56 I know.
02:57 Well, you were old enough at some point
02:58 to have love interests.
03:00 Did you have any crushes on any of the love interests?
03:03 All of them.
03:04 OK.
03:06 Equal opportunity crushes.
03:07 I was a teenage girl.
03:08 Yes.
03:08 OK, good.
03:09 And I would always--
03:10 yeah, I mean, again, it was one of those things
03:13 where I was growing up.
03:14 I was a teenager.
03:16 And so I would always get a little nervous
03:18 if I had to kiss or something on camera.
03:20 And you had to actually have your first kiss ever on camera.
03:24 Yeah.
03:24 It's delightful.
03:26 ET was obviously with us for many
03:28 of our party of five years.
03:29 Oh, so let's roll the tape.
03:31 I love a tape.
03:31 No, we have a tape.
03:33 It's going to be coming up right here.
03:35 This is Scott Wolf, the greatest brother in the world.
03:37 You can see that from Matthew too.
03:39 I've never seen this.
03:40 Working the dimple.
03:41 He works-- see, look at his face.
03:43 He works the dimple.
03:44 Mom's done it for me.
03:46 [LAUGHTER]
03:48 Aw, this is my first love too.
03:51 Wow, that really touched me.
03:52 That's really, really sweet.
03:53 Good memories.
03:54 We're lucky.
03:54 I know.
03:55 Thank you, ET, for showing us that.
03:57 Yeah, thank you for that.
03:58 It's like these two have never been apart,
04:00 which made working together again
04:02 easy in their new hallmark movie, A Merry Scottish
04:05 Christmas, premiering Saturday.
04:07 Apparently, all roads lead back to our long lost family.
04:10 How excited are we to reunite after 23 years
04:14 since Party of Five?
04:16 Since they said cut on that last scene of our last episode
04:20 of Party of Five, I have hoped that we
04:22 would have the chance to work together again.
04:25 And this was such a dream.
04:26 And obviously, we are so close in real life
04:29 and have kept in touch all these years.
04:31 But to be able to be on set again
04:33 and then to have this experience today of being
04:35 here talking about it is just a dream come true.
04:37 Magic.
04:38 Do we think our fans would have been a little weirded out
04:40 if we played love interest?
04:42 How fun is it playing siblings again?
04:44 Yes.
04:45 Yeah.
04:46 100% yes.
04:47 Yes.
04:48 I don't think.
04:48 I know.
04:49 I know.
04:50 It's worth the certainty.
04:50 Now we know from the reaction from the general public, which
04:53 is like, please tell me they're not going to kiss.
04:57 No one-- we should be clear.
04:59 No one was less interested in seeing us play romantic
05:02 interest than we were.
05:03 We knew from the very beginning that this
05:05 would be a sibling story.
05:06 You have been my sister since we did that show together.
05:09 And you always will be.
05:10 And so getting a chance to tell a story where you're still
05:13 my sister, but in a whole new sort of magical world
05:16 and different set of circumstances
05:17 was really incredible.
05:19 And I hope we do it 1,000 times.
05:21 Couldn't agree more.
05:23 So let's just keep it cordial.
05:26 Give mom the Christmas she wants.
05:27 Yeah, and then we can just go on with our lives.
05:30 Works for me.
05:31 In the movie, our mom has a deep, dark secret.
05:35 What secret have you kept from your own child?
05:39 Is there one?
05:40 Oh my goodness.
05:41 Sweet Julie, are you keeping secrets from Julie?
05:43 Well, I feel like part of parenthood
05:45 is just constantly editing the truth.
05:47 Yes.
05:48 Right?
05:48 Yes.
05:49 Sometimes it's like, no, the park's closed today.
05:52 I called.
05:52 They said it was closed.
05:53 Love that.
05:54 Yeah, no, the stores are closed.
05:55 Disneyland shut down.
05:56 Yeah.
05:56 Everyone's closed.
05:57 Sometimes you just got to make it work.
05:59 You do.
06:00 Mom, are you a duchess?
06:01 Well, I suppose it's time you learned the truth.
06:04 We, of course, shot some of this movie in Scotland,
06:06 which was beautiful.
06:07 What was it like being a Scot in Scotland?
06:10 It was great being a Scot in Scotland.
06:12 My daughter was really kind of--
06:15 she was like, wait, is that where you're from?
06:18 Scotland?
06:18 I know.
06:19 But when you're really there, when you're really
06:21 in the countryside and really at Scottish pubs,
06:24 it just brings life to everything.
06:26 And this isn't Lacey's only recent reunion.
06:29 She just linked up with her "Mean Girls" co-stars,
06:31 Lindsay Lohan and Amanda Seyfried.
06:33 I am such a good mom.
06:35 I'm impressed.
06:37 And I'm Karen.
06:38 We know.
06:39 Yeah.
06:39 Lacey.
06:40 Yeah.
06:41 You had another fetch reunion.
06:43 I did.
06:44 What was it like getting back together
06:45 with the "Mean Girls" family?
06:46 Oh my goodness.
06:46 Seeing what Gretchen Wieners is up to,
06:50 did it make you guys all want to do a sequel?
06:51 Oh my gosh.
06:52 It's been a year of reunions in the best way.
06:55 It was so much fun to step back into Gretchen's shoes
06:57 and to be with Lindsay and Amanda
06:58 and spend the day together.
06:59 And just the full circle moment, again, of all of it.
07:02 We're moms now.
07:03 Nearly 20 years have passed.
07:05 And we had so much fun being together.
07:07 And yeah, a sequel would be amazing.
07:09 OK, I have one more question.
07:10 OK.
07:12 It's the hardest hitting.
07:14 Are you ready?
07:15 I feel like I need to sip a tea for this one.
07:17 I'll do it too.
07:18 Actually, I'll sip it after I ask.
07:20 What is a question you have always wanted to ask me?
07:26 What's your favorite scene from "Party of Five?"
07:28 Oh wow.
07:29 Filming or watching or just memorable.
07:31 You know, the first one that comes to mind
07:34 was the scene with you and I in the intervention.
07:38 No.
07:39 No, no, no, no, no, no.
07:42 No, I can't take this, Bailey.
07:43 I mean, you can't do this anymore.
07:46 Claudia, I just thought it--
07:49 you know, the Bailey and Claudia relationship
07:51 was so emotional and so connected and important.
07:57 And for that moment to happen where
08:02 Claudia is the one who steps up and basically is the trump card
08:05 and says, you know, it's you do this for us
08:09 or I won't be in your life.
08:12 And it was just such a hard moment
08:15 that I think it captured a lot of what "Party of Five"
08:17 was trying to do, which was tell compelling
08:19 stories that felt honest.
08:21 And these are things people go through.
08:24 So yeah, that scene was definitely one.
08:27 It was a good one.
08:28 What about you?
08:28 Do you have a favorite?
08:29 Favorite scene?
08:30 I love the one you mentioned.
08:31 And anything where we were all together.
08:34 Those were always really fun.
08:35 Or when I had the tent in the living room.
08:38 It was always fun to film in there.
08:40 It was.
08:41 Yeah, when I think about it, I just--
08:43 my biggest memories from the show
08:44 are the scenes where we were all together.
08:46 And it's really not even what happened in the scene.
08:48 It's the in-between stuff I remember the most.
08:50 Laughing, telling jokes, running lines,
08:53 making fun of each other.
08:54 Like, just all the-- we were just--
08:57 we were close.
08:58 It was special.
08:59 It's unusual.
08:59 And it's unique.
09:00 People can think it was a very kind of somber set.
09:03 And it was the opposite of that.
09:04 No, we did craft service, snacking, and laughing.
09:07 And I was like on a pogo stick or riding
09:10 my bike or skateboard, whatever it was at the time.
09:13 And we just grew up together.
09:14 It was precious.
09:16 I knew that when we said goodbye on that last scene of "Party
09:18 at Five" that that wouldn't be the end.
09:20 And it may have taken 23 years.
09:21 But here we are.
09:23 And it was-- every moment was special to me.
09:25 So thank you.
09:25 Same, same, same.
09:26 Thank you.
09:27 Cheers to all the memories.
09:28 Cheers to our reunion.
09:30 Yeah.
09:30 And all of our reunions.
