00:00 >> Did you walk away with this frustration or
00:03 it seems like the players are maybe walking away with the idea that you guys
00:09 can hang and this was more of an encouraging effort even in loss.
00:13 >> Yeah, I think it's more that it's definitely frustrating but
00:15 it's to the point where we gotta keep our heads up in these situations.
00:20 I mean, it's a good football team, defense played great.
00:22 We gotta do a better job of helping them out.
00:24 A lot of stops against a very electric offense.
00:28 And today was more of, I would say, our mistakes, beating ourselves up a little
00:33 bit, good defense again, but we just gotta do a better job of making it easier
00:38 on the team by taking care of our part and playing complimentary football.
00:42 >> The offense had a rough stretch there, but at the end of the first half,
00:45 the last two possessions were ultra conservative and didn't take any shots.
00:49 Is that something that you have a conversation or
00:52 the offensive guys do with Bo here next week?
00:55 >> Yeah, we'll watch the tape and then figure out the best way to move forward
00:58 with that.
00:59 >> You guys got off to a good start on offense and
01:01 we're moving the ball a lot at the end.
01:02 What happened just overall in the middle when you guys kinda got bogged down?
01:05 What do you think went wrong?
01:06 >> I'm not sure.
01:07 I'm a tape guy, so I gotta see that before I really make that determination.
01:11 But just gotta make the plays work and obviously stay aggressive.
01:16 But there's a lot I couldn't say, but up until I see the tape, then I'll for sure know.
01:22 >> How close were you and Aiden to connecting on that third and one?
01:25 Fleet flicker, I feel like that was one of the pivotal plays of the game.
01:29 >> Yeah, but there was a penalty on that anyway, so
01:31 those are the ones where you kinda feel like, all right.
01:34 I've had some plays where I used some big plays and scored touchdowns on long ones
01:39 like that and it comes back because of a holding or whatever the case is.
01:42 So it's really irrelevant on that one.
01:45 You'd like to just hit it anyway, but at the same time, it would have come back.
01:49 >> I guess the one you did connect on, the touchdown, was that a glimpse of
01:53 kind of the potential you could do and how much you would get back on the end zone?
01:56 >> Yes, I mean, it's great.
01:57 It's been too long since I last got in.
02:01 I don't even know, but yeah, I mean, that's what we can do.
02:05 We just gotta do a little more of that.
02:06 >> What you see from Aiden today,
02:08 is it kinda one of those grandparents kind of games for a rookie?
02:10 >> Yeah, I mean, it was weird, man.
02:13 It was some, you look at the one pick where at the end it was fourth down.
02:17 That's not the very end, but
02:19 the one where he was kinda getting tackled and through it.
02:22 That's just him trying to make a play, it's fourth down and
02:24 obviously not very much time left on the clock and getting sacked.
02:28 That's a tough one.
02:29 The first one is obviously gonna be a situation you look at on tape and
02:34 figure you can obviously make a better throw.
02:36 I mean, he knows that, but we're not freaking out.
02:39 He's not freaking out.
02:40 We just gotta stay together and find a way to convert better.
