00:52 Rounding up porters for our safari, we pushed off toward the interior.

01:07 Across vast stretches of wastelands, through the forest of Mubasa.

01:17 Up the slopes of Mount Mokakia, down the valley of the Umbambugi,
01:23 over crocodile infested waters. Onward, ever onward pushed our safari.
01:29 Out onto the open valve.
01:32 February 11th.

01:49 Suddenly, we reached the interior.

01:55 Pitched camp near a waterhole.

01:59 And were swallowed by the inky African night.

06:46 Thus we left this land of romance with its beasts of belt and forest.
