00:00 Now, as we look ahead to the travel
00:01 forecast for tomorrow,
00:02 most of the country is looking OK,
00:04 but there's one area that we have concerns.
00:06 That's the Gulf Coast between New
00:08 Orleans and even Houston back to
00:10 the Florida Panhandle.
00:11 It is going to be very wet and there
00:13 could even be some coastal flooding
00:15 in the morning early in the morning
00:17 around New Orleans, SE Louisiana.
00:19 So something to watch out for here,
00:21 folks also into Florida.
00:22 It's going to be pretty wet and stormy.
00:25 Miami could have some delays.
00:26 Let's take you down to the Gulf Coast
00:28 where Houston you'll see some rain
00:30 again on your Tuesday,
00:31 but you'll dry out into Wednesday
00:33 and Thursday there.
00:34 The heaviest of the rain tomorrow is
00:36 going to be most likely east of Houston.
00:38 There will be major delays in New Orleans,
00:41 whether it's flooding near the coast
00:42 or whether it's a heavy rain,
00:44 and that's also going to be the case as
00:46 you head into the Florida Panhandle as well.
00:49 Now the travel forecast as you go
00:51 farther north from the I-10 corridor
00:53 up toward Atlanta, you're looking great.
00:55 Nashville,
00:55 you'll be a little bit chilly in the
00:57 70s and 80s with a few degrees to start
00:59 your day then you'll end up with a
01:02 sunny nice afternoon up the coast here.
01:04 We're looking a OK for the big
01:06 airports in the Northeast.
01:07 No travel weather delays tomorrow.
01:08 Looking good JFK, Newark, Boston.
01:10 Looking good there as well and really
01:12 not much happening for the Northeast.
01:14 Chicago is looking fine too,
01:15 and so is much of the north central
01:18 US for traveling tomorrow.
01:20 Alright, Kevin,
01:20 well over 55 million Americans are
01:22 expected to travel for the Thanksgiving
01:24 holiday this year according to AAA,
01:25 and the travel company says that's
01:28 over a 2% increase above last year,
01:30 and it's the third highest travel since 2000.
