00:09 They're everywhere!
00:11 All around us!
00:13 It's horribible!
00:15 We're outnumbered ten gazillion to one!
00:18 Christopher Robin, what's going on?
00:21 It sounds like a war in there.
00:23 Uh-oh, it's Mom.
00:25 When I get up there, young man,
00:27 you'd better have a good story.
00:29 Oh, no.
00:31 How am I going to explain this mess?
00:33 Perhaps if you tell her what happened to us out there,
00:37 she won't mind so much what happened to you in here.
00:41 Of course.
00:43 She'll shake her head very sadly and say,
00:46 "Oh, Christopher Robin, your poor, poor friends.
00:50 "A little mess like this is nothing
00:53 "next to what they went through."
00:55 I don't know if it'll work.
00:57 Sure it will.
00:59 I'll give you every gruesome-ish detail.
01:02 I think I can tell the story better, thank you very much.
01:06 Storytelling is what tiggers do best.
01:09 I'll tell him.
01:11 Um, since the story did begin with Pooh,
01:14 perhaps Pooh should begin.
01:16 I would be pleased to.
01:18 ( clears throat )
01:19 It all began, you see,
01:22 as I was settling down to a nice after-breakfast
01:26 before lunch and nowhere near dinner,
01:28 smackerel of honey,
01:31 when suddenly I began to suspect
01:34 I had a visitor.
01:37 And a rather hungry visitor at that.
01:44 ( squeaks, laughs )
01:49 Excuse me.
01:51 "No bother," I said,
01:53 and I began to think.
01:55 ( snoring )
01:57 Perhaps I had better be more clever
02:03 about how I eat my honey from now on.
02:06 But I'm afraid the bee was a bit more clever than me.
02:11 Oh, bother.
02:13 Oh, bother.
02:18 It seemed the bee was leaving me out of house and home.
02:23 ( squeaks )
02:25 Not to mention honey.
02:28 And then I had a thought.
02:30 I thought perhaps if I eat out of house and home,
02:34 maybe the bee won't bother me.
02:37 And then is when Pooh came to my house.
02:41 And I brought my honey with me.
02:44 The bee could never possibly find me here.
02:49 Unless I left the door open.
02:52 Oh, bother.
02:55 My house.
03:16 There. I did it.
03:19 Yes, Pooh, you certainly did.
03:22 What happened next?
03:24 We needed to find a home which the bee had not yet found.
03:30 Take that! And this! And this and that!
03:33 Say, buddy bear, seen any bouncy, beady-eyed bees go buzzin' by?
03:41 But Tigger's home was not that home.
03:44 So what did you do then?
03:46 We decided to try my house.
03:49 But I certainly didn't want them there making my home unlivable
03:56 just because of some silly little bee.
03:59 Oh, my.
04:06 My home! My beautiful--
04:08 ( laughs )
04:10 Hmm, house?
04:12 Gash.
04:13 And it was then that I decided
04:15 there's only one way to get rid of that nasty little pest.
04:19 We're going to war.
04:22 Gash! War!
04:24 War?
04:26 War?
04:28 War.
04:30 War!
04:31 We are happy, peaceful creatures
04:34 who've always led happy, peaceful lives.
04:37 And no pipsqueak bee is going to change that.
04:41 Perhaps if we asked very nicely,
04:44 might you not bother us so much, if you please, little bee?
04:48 No, boo boy.
04:50 I know how stripedy critters think,
04:52 and I wouldn't trust them with the time of day.
04:55 Say, what time is it anyway?
04:58 Half past a full moon.
05:01 Phew, time flies when you're going to war.
05:05 Ah, better get to work on my secret weapon.
05:08 Oh, what secret weapon, Gopher?
05:11 I can't tell. It's a secret.
05:15 Now, let's get ready for that bee.
05:18 There were plans to be planned, maps to be mapped.
05:23 Charts to be charted, forts to be fortified.
05:27 Bees to be beat.
05:30 Let no one by unless they give the password.
05:34 Excuse me, rabbit, but what is the password?
05:37 Ha, you think I'm that easily tricked?
05:40 There is no password.
05:43 My first task was teaching the troops to know their enemy.
05:47 And what is this, Tigger?
05:50 A horsey having a picnic in the mud on a Thursday afternoon.
05:54 No, no, no, no, no. It's a bee.
05:57 And what is a bee, Piglet?
05:59 A very small creature with wings which likes honey.
06:02 No, the enemy. A bee is the enemy.
06:06 And what do we do if we see a bee, Pooh?
06:09 We say, "Why, look, there's a bee."
06:12 No, no, no. We sound the alarm. Sound the alarm.
06:17 Oh, and he seems to have brought along some friends.
06:20 We will not be outdone by a few silly... bees.
06:28 This was it, my moment to remain calm and take charge.
06:32 Bees! Thousands of them!
06:34 There was only supposed to be one. Only one.
06:38 Like a good general, I ordered my troops to their posts.
06:42 Bees! Millions of bees! Run for your life!
06:47 Remember, troops, it's more than Pooh's honey we're defending.
06:58 It's our very way of life.
07:01 Don't shoot till you see the yellow on her belly.
07:04 Who bother?
07:13 Yes, sir. This baby's gonna give that bee a thing or two to think about.
07:20 (bees buzzing)
07:22 Are you all right, Peglet?
07:46 Speak to me. Say a few syllabibles.
07:50 Oh, de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de.
07:52 I had to ask.
07:54 Almost done now.
07:57 I was keeping track of our front lines and planning the strategies for new victories.
08:03 Private Pooh has retreated to the left bunker.
08:06 To the left? Right.
08:08 To the right.
08:10 To the left is right.
08:11 Well, if the left is right, who's left?
08:13 Pooh's left back at the right of the front.
08:16 The back of the front or the right of the left?
08:19 Ping me!
08:23 One secret weapon coming up.
08:26 Now we're gonna see some real action.
08:30 The enemy was closing in.
08:32 These were the final moments.
08:35 The weight of command was on my shoulders.
08:38 The fate of the world was in my hands.
08:41 It was the greatest test of my leadership abilities.
08:45 Faster! They're coming!
08:47 Hurry! Please, hurry!
08:52 Ready, aim, fire!
08:55 Is it true, as I've heard, that what goes up really must come down?
09:08 My leadership instincts told me the time had come to retreat!
09:14 Then what happened?
09:21 That's when I knew there was no choice.
09:25 We were forced to surrender.
09:29 And the bees, you see, had the same idea.
09:35 You both surrendered?
09:37 It seemed to be the friendly thing to do.
09:41 And we decided that since together we had made the mess,
09:45 together we should clean it up.
09:47 Christopher Robin, I'm coming up there,
09:50 and I'd better not find that room in a mess.
09:53 It's not, Mom.
09:55 Tell him what happened next, Pooh.
09:58 Then, with everyone so happy that the war was over,
10:02 I suggested we celebrate.
10:04 Perhaps with a small smackerel of honey?
10:08 Here we go again.
10:14 To your battle stations!
10:18 Oh, dear.
10:23 Oh, bother.
10:26 Christopher Robin!
10:29 [♪♪♪]
10:32 (playful music)
