00:00 At the 2003 New York International Auto Show, Nissan stunned the audience with three new
00:16 vehicles, the 350Z Roadster, the Titan Crew Cab, and the Pathfinder Armada.
00:22 The 2004 Z Roadster will be offered in two trims, the Enthusiast model and the Touring
00:27 model.
00:28 The base Enthusiast version features power seats, rear wind deflector, 17-inch alloy
00:32 wheels, Xeon headlights, and automatic climate control.
00:36 The Touring model adds a Bose audio system with a six-disc changer, seven speakers, and
00:41 leather appointments.
00:42 Both models raise and lower the top in 20 seconds.
00:46 With the 350Z couped claiming the title as the best-selling sports car, this new drop-top
00:51 model is sure to be the hot ride this summer.
00:54 Nissan also introduced the new Titan King Cab Crew.
00:57 Scheduled to go on sale late 2003, this full-size pickup will be available in five and six passenger
01:04 configurations.
01:05 With a 127-cubic foot interior, the King Cab boasts more space than its competitors, including
01:11 other 2004 models.
01:13 The rear seat is a 640 split and has a 24-degree rake for comfort.
01:18 The five-foot, seven-inch cargo bed features an industry-standard first factory-sprayed-in
01:23 bed liner, movable tie-down cleats, bedside storage compartment, tailgate, work light,
01:28 and a bed-mounted 12-volt power point.
01:31 Like the regular Titan, this four-door packs a 5.6-liter DOHC V8 with over 300 horsepower
01:38 and 375 foot-pound of torque, made into a five-speed automatic transmission.
01:43 Taking the domestic manufacturers head on, Nissan rolled out the Titan-derived Pathfinder
01:48 Armada.
01:49 This full-size sport utility vehicle features three seating rows, offered in seven or eight
01:53 passenger configurations.
01:55 The well-appointed interior feels more like a premium sedan than a truck, with its artful
01:59 design and relatively lush materials.
02:02 A sophisticated, capable SUV, the Pathfinder Armada 4x4 uses all-drive technology, derived
02:08 from the Skyline GTR, for on-road and off-road traction, aided by a two-speed electronic
02:13 transfer case.
02:14 The Pathfinder Armada joins the Nissan lineup this fall.
