00:00 All right, Zeno, here we go. Let's dive right in. It is number two Georgia and an Ole Miss
00:07 team that is now in the top ten of the college football playoff rankings as well. Georgia
00:13 last week, of course, a huge game at home against Missouri. They win 30 to 21. They
00:18 do not cover as a two touchdown favorite. Georgia has only covered twice this year,
00:24 despite a 9-0 record straight up. They are 2-7 against the spread. The running rebs are
00:29 on the escape at home this past Saturday in Oxford against Texas A&M. The Aggies miss
00:35 a field goal. Who among us thought Jimbo Fisher would actually step up when his team is not
00:40 expected to win? Booked as an underdog, Ole Miss survives. They only have one loss this
00:45 year. Very much in the running for an SEC championship game, but they do not control
00:50 their own destiny with Alabama knocking off Ole Miss and, of course, handling LSU last
00:55 Saturday night in Tuscaloosa. So, Zeno, as we look at this game, a top ten tilt in Athens,
01:01 Georgia a ten and a half point favorite against Ole Miss. How do you see it breaking down?
01:07 Well, Ben, the Georgia defense is very good statistically. Eleventh in the nation in total
01:14 defense, fifteenth in rush defense, nineteenth in pass, but I think those numbers are a little
01:18 misleading. Guys, you know how many Georgia offenses they faced this year in the Power
01:23 Five that are currently ranked in the top fifty? Well, I'll tell you. One. And it was
01:27 last week. It was Missouri. The Dawgs have not allowed any team this year to score more
01:31 than twenty-one points in a game. The three hundred and sixty-three yards they allowed
01:34 to Missouri last week was the most of any opponent this season. I say all that to say
01:37 that Georgia hasn't really faced anybody of worth particularly offensively. Ole Miss is
01:42 the best offense UGA is going to see. They're twelfth in the nation in yards per game. Hundred
01:46 eighty-one rushing yards. Rebels come in thirty-fourth in the country. This is a Rebels
01:50 team that just put up a hundred fifty on the ground on Texas A&M who has a better run defense
01:54 than Georgia does. So the Dawgs allowed a hundred fifty-one rushing yards to Cody Schrader
01:58 and the Tigers last week in a game that was a one-score game for three and a half quarters.
02:02 Here's the real rub for Ole Miss in this game. If they can run the ball on the ground, I
02:05 think they can with a good measure of success, right? Their best game plan here is to run
02:09 the ball, hold on to it, and not put Georgia's offense on the field. But that's a far departure
02:14 from what Ole Miss used to because they're tenth in the nation in time of possession.
02:18 They just don't hold on to the football. On the flip side, Georgia is sixth in the country
02:22 in time of possession. So, if Kirby Smart gets a lead, he's going to grind this game
02:27 to a halt and that will make the margin for scoring for Ole Miss very slim as in like
02:33 we have to score every time we touch the ball because guess what? We're only going to have
02:37 five or six opportunities to do it. I think the big thing for Ole Miss, get Trey Harris
02:42 involved. All respect to Luther Burden who next year, after next year when he comes out,
02:45 will probably be a top ten pick as a wide receiver. Georgia hasn't faced a wide receiver
02:51 as big and physical as Trey Harris. They're going to have to hit some plays in the past
02:54 game, keep the running lanes open, and the Rebels defense, which isn't as bad as it's
02:58 been in years past, should be able to get a stop or two against Georgia. But again,
03:03 I think this is a big number here. Georgia's only covered two games, as you said, the blowout
03:07 win over Kentucky and the win over Florida. I think the Rebels make UGA sweat for all
03:11 60 minutes. I think they have a shot to win the thing outright, but give me Ole Miss plus
03:15 the points.
