00:20 with a sinister plan to kidnap him and start a new life elsewhere.

00:24 However, things took a turn when Keanu couldn't get away in time, and soon decided to tell

00:29 Sharon that Albie had been abducted from the park.

00:33 With police all over the case in upcoming scenes, the pressure is on for Keanu and Karen

00:38 as the Walford residents rally round to try and track down the missing boy.

00:43 Having received a ransom note from the kidnappers, Sharon fears for Albie's safety and hides

00:47 the letter from the police, before revealing all to Phil and Kat Mitchell, who agree to

00:52 lend her the money to pay the ransom.

00:54 Meanwhile, Karen is completely panicking about what she has got herself into, worrying about

00:59 the consequences of Keanu's plot.

01:02 Despite this, she finds time to drop another ransom note detailing the time and place they

01:07 want to exchange the cash, which is where things start to go downhill for her and Keanu.

01:12 Sharon remains distraught as she fears for Albie's well-being and insists that they go

01:16 along with whatever the kidnapper wants to prevent any harm coming to her son.

01:21 Phil is quick to suggest that he take the money and deal with the kidnapper himself,

01:25 but Keanu refuses under the guise that he wants to do the drop himself.

01:30 When Phil insists on accompanying him, Sharon agrees, and Keanu is fearful that his plan

01:35 has been rumbled.

01:37 The race is suddenly on for Karen and Keanu to find a way of returning Albie to Sharon

01:41 without being exposed as the true kidnappers.

01:44 Soon, Karen comes up with a plan as she texts Sharon from a burner phone, demanding that

01:50 whoever brings the money to the park must come alone.

01:53 At number 43, Keanu manages to convince Sharon to let Karen make the exchange, sharing his

01:58 fears that things might go sour if Phil goes in heavy-handed.

02:02 Sharon eventually agrees, and soon Karen is fighting to act normal as she meets Candice's

02:07 husband Malcolm in the park.
