00:02 >> The Jacksonville has won five straight fresh off the bye Donnie.
00:06 They will host a team that entered in the opposite end of the equation into their
00:09 bye week, the San Francisco 49ers, losers of three in a row.
00:14 But yet San Francisco Donnie still a three point favorite on the road
00:18 in Duval against Jacksonville.
00:21 Is the right side favored Donnie?
00:22 And what would you make the spread?
00:25 >> The right side is favored because why?
00:26 Well, the bookmakers aren't stupid here.
00:28 And also keep in mind, they know where the money is going to come in at.
00:31 So if you're gonna say to yourself, hey, the correct number here for
00:33 us is minus three on Jacksonville, you get an avalanche on San Francisco.
00:37 But still, keeping at that three point number here for San Francisco,
00:40 you're still gonna get a lot of money going in the direction.
00:43 As much as, let's just say, six out of every ten tickets it looks like coming in
00:46 early here for the San Francisco 49ers, and rightfully so.
00:49 But I gotta tell you, sometimes you just read lines here and say,
00:52 ooh, this one just feels a little bit off.
00:54 Now sometimes it doesn't go in your direction.
00:56 I thought the Buffalo Bills hanging around a two and a half point,
00:58 one and a half point dog against Cincinnati.
01:00 I thought that was kind of crazy, but
01:02 Cincinnati ended up winning and covering that number here.
01:04 I look at this number to myself and say,
01:06 Jacksonville is a legitimately good football team here.
01:09 And you're not saying like, ooh, is this the first time the 49ers are gonna get
01:12 tripped up here by going on the road to Duval County?
01:14 No, they lost three straight times heading into their bye.
01:17 So we're just gonna be under the impression that a bye week's going to fix
01:21 things here for the San Francisco 49ers.
01:23 And also, all those lowly Jaguars of the mid-tooth, no,
01:26 the Jaguars are a really good football team.
01:28 As you said, one of the hottest, if not the hottest teams in the league, and
01:31 also coming off of their bye week and at home.
01:34 As this game sits here on a Tuesday morning, I look at that three point number,
01:37 I went in on the Jacksonville Jaguars.
01:39 It's not saying the 49ers are a terrible football team, and
01:42 I'm not saying the Jacksonville Jaguars will run away with the AFC if they win
01:45 this game.
01:46 But if you're gonna give me points at home,
01:48 I'm gonna take the Jacksonville Jaguars with a three.
01:51 What's interesting, Donnie,
01:53 down in Duval actually hasn't been all that great for the Jaguars this year.
01:56 They're just two and two at home.
01:58 They are four and O away from Jacksonville,
02:01 including, of course, two wins in London.
02:04 This is a game for me, Donnie.
02:06 You would assume San Francisco is healthy out of the bye.
02:08 We should see both Debo Samuel and Trent Williams return.
02:13 This is a game for me that will prove where the 49ers are.
02:17 Are they truly that elite team that was the most impressive in their opening
02:21 five wins of the year, or are they a really good football team
02:25 that does not have a quarterback that can lead them to win?
02:28 And if they're not at full health, they're a pretty good team, but not elite.
02:34 That is the question, in my estimation, Donnie, for
02:37 this San Francisco 49ers team in this game.
02:40 They are priced like an elite football team,
02:43 six to one to win the Super Bowl right now.
02:45 That's second best number out in the NFC, and a three point favorite on the road
02:50 against a Jacksonville team that is six and two this year and has won five
02:54 straight games.
02:55 I think, Donnie, it's time to prove that price for the 49ers on Sunday.
02:59 >> Yeah, it is trying to prove it.
03:01 And also, it's put up a shut up time for the 49ers.
03:03 We just had a poll out there,
03:05 are the 49ers the best team in the NFL as one of the four options here?
03:09 What other time would we put a team that lost three straight football games
03:13 as if we think they're gonna be a chance to be the best team in the NFL?
03:16 We know they're talented.
03:17 We know if they put together, they can be a formidable opponent.
03:19 But also keep in mind, this is also a big game for
03:22 the 49ers overall in their season.
03:24 Forget about, if they lose that, they'll just recover.
03:26 You're fighting with the Seahawks now.
03:28 You're losing day by day the race to try to become a top seed in the NFC.
03:32 So you don't have to play the Philadelphia Eagles in Philadelphia.
03:35 Yeah, you're actually going to play the Eagles before you get to the playoffs
03:38 in Philadelphia.
03:39 So if you let this lead slip and say, okay, they lose another game here,
03:43 which means four in a row, things are going to be looking up.
03:45 But also, on the flip side,
03:47 Jacksonville, as we always thought, is the best team in the AFC South.
03:50 They're the most talented team.
03:51 Even though the 49ers have lost three in a row, I look at Jacksonville in this game
03:55 and say to myself, boy, if they win this,
03:57 they're gonna change some thought processes around the league.
04:00 Maybe they should be looked at as contenders in the AFC and
04:03 challenging Kansas City here this year.
