00:00and I'll see you next week.
00:04Look at Paul Skeens on the
00:05season. If you would have told
00:06me this day in September that
00:09Paul Skeens is going to have a
00:10ten and two record. He's going
00:11to be two at 2.10 for his ERA
00:14and 151 strikeouts and he's not
00:17the odds on favorite to be the
00:20actual NL Rookie of the Year.
00:22That's crazy. So, I'm going to
00:24ask you this question, Dubsy.
00:25By yourself, Paul Skeens would
00:28snub if he does not win Rookie
00:31of the Year this year? I'm
00:33buying. I think it would be an
00:35all-time snub. I think it will
00:36be an all-time snub. You know,
00:38look, obviously, the star power
00:39is going to be there behind
00:40Paul Skeens. Truly remarkable
00:42season. What we've seen there
00:43from the rookie and again, he
00:45just set a new record there.
00:46Most case for rookie were in
00:48that Pirates Uni. So, look,
00:49cannot knock what we have seen
00:50but for Jackson Merrill down
00:52there with the Padres, you
00:53know, we get to see what he's
00:54doing on the nightly. So, since
00:56the All-Star break, we've seen
00:57a massive jump in the market.
00:59It was Skeens at minus 1200 and
01:01now he's the outsider looking
01:03in and I think it's a little
01:04too late in trying to play
01:05catch-up. No, not towards Paul
01:07Skeens. Truly, truly special
01:09stuff from what we have seen
01:10but again, I think the longevity
01:12of the season leads towards
01:14Jackson Merrill and the Padres
01:16and you look at the numbers
01:16that he's put up. Absolutely
01:18monster year there as well. So,
01:20going to go with Merrill and I
01:21do think it would be an
01:22all-time snub for possibly the
01:24next generational talent coming
01:26in to the big stunning.
