00:00 [News Anchor] Igan, a fire broke out in Barangay E Rodriguez, Quezon City tonight.
00:07 [News Anchor] According to the authorities, the fire could have been caused by the cook who was left behind.
00:11 [News Anchor] And they are with us, Darlene Cai.

00:16 [News Anchor] Igan, Pia, after 3 hours, the fire completely broke out here in Anapolis Street, Barangay E Rodriguez, Quezon City.
00:25 [News Anchor] Almost 50 families will celebrate Christmas without a home.

00:32 [News Anchor] More than 15 houses in Anapolis Street, Barangay E Rodriguez, Quezon City were engulfed by a huge fire.
00:38 [News Anchor] The fire started at 7.30 pm.
00:41 [News Anchor] The fire spread quickly and grew because the houses were stuck together and made of light materials.
00:47 [News Anchor] Because of the speed of the fire, Ednalyn's family was unable to do anything if the fire did not spread quickly.
00:54 [Ednalyn] My parents were aware that the fire was too strong in our house.
00:59 [Ednalyn] We were unable to do anything in our house.
01:05 [News Anchor] Even though they were wearing clothes, Eduardo's family, who has been living here for 50 years, was unable to do anything.
01:11 [Ednalyn] The fire spread quickly. We were able to walk. We were not able to do anything.
01:19 [News Anchor] The response to the fire became difficult.
01:23 [Ednalyn] The traffic was the first thing.
01:25 [Ednalyn] And then, the second thing, you can see this road, right?
01:28 [Ednalyn] This is used by the Toro Fields of the vehicles. There are tricycles here.

01:44 [News Anchor] But based on the information spread by the authorities, it is possible that the fire started from the left-over food.
01:50 Less than an hour ago, the firemen were able to control the fire that reached the second alarm.
01:56 Almost 50 families lost their homes.
01:59 No one was injured in the incident.
02:02 The authorities are reminding people, especially during this holiday season, to be careful when cooking.
02:08 For our fellow citizens, once we cook, let's not leave what we are cooking.
