Transcript
00:00 My feelings are great. I mean, that's, you know, what I want and wanted."
00:04 Priscilla Presley is opening up about her emotional year and is getting candid about
00:09 where she wants to be buried.
00:11 In a new interview with TalkTV's Pierce Morgan Uncensored, the ex-wife of the late Elvis
00:16 Presley revealed why she wants her final resting place to be at Graceland.
00:20 "You'd like to be buried next to us?"
00:22 "Yes."
00:23 "And that will happen?"
00:24 "Yes."
00:25 "I think people would like that."
00:27 "At least right now."
00:28 "Well, no, obviously, I don't want to be... no. I mean, let's hope it's a very long way
00:33 down the line, but that's settled. That's nothing to be..."
00:37 "No."
00:38 Elvis, his daughter Lisa Marie Presley, and her son Benjamin Keough are all buried in
00:42 the Meditation Garden at the Memphis Mansion.
00:45 Earlier this month, a judge approved the settlement agreement on Lisa Marie's estate, which leaves
00:50 her daughter Riley Keough as the sole trustee and, according to People, confirms that the
00:55 78-year-old will be buried near the King of Rock and Roll.
00:59 Despite filing a petition to contest an amendment Lisa Marie made before her death that left
01:04 her children the estate and removed Priscilla and her former business partner as co-trustees,
01:10 Priscilla also praised her granddaughter to Pierce.
01:13 "I think Riley will be great. She's, you know, asked me a few things about what to do and
01:20 we'll talk about, like, I want to help her, like, with Graceland. I mean, she has her
01:25 own career as well and doing so well with her."
01:29 "She's very talented."
01:30 "She's so talented."
01:31 In the emotional conversation, she admitted that she misses the Jailhouse Rock singer
01:36 who died in 1977.
01:38 "I miss him very much. I miss his words. I miss his love. I miss his laugh. I miss his
01:44 energy. I miss the fun times. I think, you know, you don't really realize the fun times
01:49 that you're having until you go back and you look at your albums and your pictures and
01:54 you go, 'Oh my God, we had so much fun. We did so much.'"
01:57 The businesswoman cried as she went on to explain how Lisa Marie struggled with the
02:02 aftermath of her son's passing in 2020.
02:05 "We were in Memphis. We were sitting up in the suite and she said, 'Mom, you know, I
02:11 don't know. I don't know. I don't know if I want to be here.' And I go, 'What are you
02:14 talking about?' You know, 'Like Ben.' And she'd go on about Ben and how she is still
02:23 grieving. And this was a couple of months before."
02:28 She was feeling almost suicidal herself.
02:30 "I think so. She really, she was almost like, she wanted to go earlier, but the twins were
02:39 still young. Too young, let's put it that way. So, twins were what, 13?"
02:52 "So sad."
02:54 "I know. Don't talk anymore about it."
02:58 "I'm crying."
03:01 "I'm crying."
03:02 "I'm crying."
03:03 "I'm crying."
