00:00 I've been here for eight years and there's been three playgrounds that have been here
00:13 while I've been here that have been built.
00:14 This week we've been able to open up the music playground and this is the third part of our
00:19 master planning project for our playgrounds at Sacred Heart.
00:25 This one particularly, the music playground, lots of it was in memory of our music teacher
00:29 Barry Nass who was a teacher who worked within our school community for over 30 years.
00:36 It's honouring our old music teacher Mr Nass that has sadly passed when I was in grade
00:42 four.
00:43 And what we wanted to do was to create a legacy for his work.
00:46 He was very kind and always pushed you to be your best.
00:51 He was well known for his actions.
00:55 Whenever I had to walk into the classroom everyone would need their smile ticket.
00:58 You would always need a smile to walk into the classroom.
01:00 He helped me learn the quarter.
01:01 I'm still not very good at it but he helped me get a grab on it.
01:06 If you were ever being naughty he would always say there was these hooks on the ceiling.
01:10 He used to threaten, we had this little hook on the top that he threatened to hang us on
01:13 if we did something wrong or something silly.
01:16 It's at the Christmas carols he was doing amazing organising it and also just singing
01:22 songs, playing the piano, doing everything he can do to make the kids have an amazing
01:26 night.
