Members of the Beltane Fire Society will perform at a unique Halloween spectacle this evening at Holyrood Park.

The Samhuinn Fire Festival is a modern twist on an ancient Celtic celebration to mark the beginning of winter that first took place in Edinburgh in 1995.

Volunteers at the Beltane Fire Society promise to deliver a memorable night, including fire displays, thumping percussion, acrobatics and dance.

Previously taking place on Edinburgh’s Royal Mile, Samhuinn moved to Calton Hill in 2018 as the Festival grew in popularity. This year will be the first time the event has taken place at Holyrood Park.
