00:04 It was done within 5 minutes.

00:06 There was no queue, no hassle.

00:08 For Estrelita Suñez, a voter,

00:11 voting in East Rainbow Elementary School is easy.

00:15 Now, it is located under Taguig, Makati City.

00:19 Our election was peaceful

00:21 because we have designated PNP, police,

00:25 and support staff who assist PWD, pregnant women, and senior citizens.

00:35 But in Rizal Elementary School in Taguig,

00:38 some voters faced a challenge,

00:41 especially those who have relatives and senior citizens.

00:44 Before, it was not like that.

00:46 We just vote for a short time.

00:47 Now, it is very long.

00:49 We have our own rooms. It is not hard.

00:55 We have a lot of people.

00:56 Some came earlier because they thought there was early voting in Taguig

01:01 for the vulnerable sector that includes persons with disabilities,

01:06 pregnant women, and senior citizens.

01:08 In fact, it was only done in Muntinlupa and Naga Cities

01:13 as pilot areas of the program.

01:15 But according to Taguig Chairperson Edgar Aringay,

01:19 the problems were solved immediately.

01:22 There are 38 polling centers in 38 barangays of Taguig.

01:27 There are more than 894,000 registered voters in the city.

01:34 There are 270,000 voters who transferred to Taguig

01:39 after moving here from Makati to 10 Embo Barangay.

01:43 The local government trusted the proper regulations,

01:47 especially regarding the security in the city.

01:50 Preparation for this election took us around 5 to 6 months.

01:54 This is not like PNP Taguig or PNP Makati.

01:57 It's one southern police district.

01:59 Meanwhile, voters have a call for a candidate,

02:03 even if it's in the government.

02:05 I hope that the priority is given to those who have relatives.

02:10 I hope so, because even the seniors are having a hard time.

02:15 I hope that the voters and the winners

02:18 will make Taguig City a better place.
