00:00 I'm joined by Susan and Simon Cooper from Easybike, winner of the Treat PLC
00:07 West Suffolk Innovation Award. Congratulations to you first of all. How
00:12 does it feel to be a winner tonight? Amazing, fantastic, didn't expect it at
00:17 all. Tell us more about Easybike, a little bit about the history and what it is
00:21 you exactly do. So yeah well it's firstly humbling to be here amongst all
00:26 these brilliant other companies but Easybike, the reason we're here is
00:30 because we have built and designed an e-bike hut which is... This is the
00:39 innovation is it? For the innovation. So it's automated, it's remote control and
00:43 the bikes are put in and charged and this allows us to reduce the cost to
00:48 public by working with council and also on business parks etc. So it's an
00:55 automated e-bike hut which is solar-powered. Remote control, in what way
01:00 is it remote control? We can control that remotely. So we've just had it at BT and
01:06 we opened it in the morning and we close it at night, so remotely. I have to say, so
01:12 I was on the website last night, the bikes are really cool, like great big
01:16 chunky tyres, bit of a chopper style kind of retro feel. A vintage sort of bike, yeah
01:21 no they're very easy to ride so hence Easybike. And what have you made
01:26 of this evening? It's been amazing, yeah it's been really good.
01:31 Congratulations to you both. Thank you, thank you very much.
