00:00 And Jarrod Brantley, you mentioned him there, he's been a shining star in Everton's side this season so far.
00:06 What are your thoughts on him and how far do you think he can go in the future?
00:10 Because he's certainly looking a really, really good player.
00:13 Yeah, I mean, I don't want to say the secret's quite out of the bag.
00:18 I think Everton fans would disagree with that.
00:20 They've known for a long time that Jarrod Brantley's a top prospect.
00:23 But a lot of the wider football world, probably, certainly fans haven't probably known really who he is.
00:31 He arrived from Carlisle when he was 17 and that loan spell was a black burn and thrived on loads of PSV Eindhoven last season.
00:39 And it was a little bit of a surprise that he didn't start the season in the start of '11.
00:43 Michael Keane was given that nod.
00:45 But yeah, he's just got everything you want in a centre-back, to be honest with you.
00:48 Every attribute and more composed on the ball, physical, wins his duels, wins his headers and his left footers, which that's a rarity for a left-back.
01:00 Every team wants a left-sided, a left-footed centre-back if you can get hold of them because they are like gold to us.
01:06 They just give you that extra balance really when you're playing out from the back.
01:10 And Brant White adds that. Some comparisons would say John Stones and is he going to be the next big sailor that Everton go on to get?
01:19 They've obviously got a couple of players there in him and Amadou Ounaner who I think maybe some people would agree that they might not be at Everton for the whole career.
01:29 Obviously, Brant White's recently signed a new deal, so Everton have secured that asset.
01:33 He's playing every week. He's what, 21, 22?
01:36 Why does he want to move on from Everton at any time soon when he's playing this amount of games?
01:40 You'd think that he will have admired us closely watching him. He's been linked to Leicester Man Utd and Liverpool in the past.
01:48 And if he keeps on that upward trajectory, then he could turn into a £60-70 million defender, to be quite frank.
01:58 The way the market is today, perhaps even more dependent on his development, to be honest.
02:04 He's just a top centre. If he can stay fit, then Everton's chances of avoiding relegation are improved markedly.
