00:00 I am deeply concerned about the clear violations of international humanitarian law that we
00:04 are witnessing in Gaza.
00:07 Let me be clear.
00:09 No party to an armed conflict is above international humanitarian law.
00:15 The grievances of the Palestinian people cannot justify the appalling attacks by Hamas.
00:20 And those appalling attacks cannot justify the collective punishment of the Palestinian
00:25 people.
00:26 Almost all those killed by Israel are civilians.
00:32 Over one million displaced.
00:34 170,000 housing units destroyed.
00:38 More injustice and more killing will not make Israel safer.
00:43 Hamas are the new Nazis.
00:47 I hear the call for proportionality.
00:52 I hear the calls, as Seyed Lim before, for a ceasefire.
00:59 Tell me, what is a proportionate response for killing of babies?
01:06 For rape women and burn them?
01:09 For beheading of a child?
01:13 How you can agree to a ceasefire with someone who swore to kill and destroy your own existence?
