The wife of former finance minister Tun Daim Zainuddin, Toh Puan Na'imah Abdul Khalid, has lodged a police report accusing top government authorities of alleged misconduct.

She had filed the report at the Petaling Jaya police headquarters on Monday (Sept 30).

00:13Naima said she represented her husband as he was unable to travel to the police station

00:28the police report by Naima comes following a Bloomberg article citing unnamed sources
00:34alleging that the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission received orders to probe Daim,
00:39ex-Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad, and his sons.
00:44This directive was reportedly issued by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim,
00:49an assertion that has been refuted by the Prime Minister's office.
00:54Earlier this year, Daim was charged under section 36, subsection 2 of the MACC Act 2009
01:03for failing to comply with an asset declaration notice.
01:07Naima was also accused under the same section for not declaring her ownership
01:12of several companies' land plots and two vehicles.
