A senior police officer, holding the rank of Assistant Superintendent, along with six other personnel, has been arrested for allegedly extorting and molesting a 22-year-old woman in early October.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Comm Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa, speaking to reporters on Saturday (Oct 12), confirmed that the victim filed a report on Oct 7 and refuted allegations of delayed action in the case.
