00:00 Orlando, how you feeling?
00:01 >> I feel great.
00:02 I feel great, man.
00:03 It was great to get a week of rest, man.
00:06 Being able to catch up on some football yesterday.
00:08 Just enjoyed the bye week with my family.
00:10 >> You didn't practice today.
00:11 Do you expect to be able to play on Sunday against the 49ers?
00:15 >> I do, I do.
00:16 This is just an extra day of rest for me.
00:18 >> Is it just because you're off tomorrow as well?
00:19 You get an extra 48 before Wednesday?
00:21 >> Exactly, yep.
00:22 >> Do you expect to go full on Wednesday?
00:25 >> Yeah, probably.
00:26 We'll see.
00:27 I don't know what the plan is necessarily.
00:29 I gotta talk to him still, but I feel great though.
00:31 So we'll see.
00:32 >> Was it simply a re-aggravation of the injury, Orlando?
00:37 >> Yeah, yep.
00:37 Just something I've been dealing with, man.
00:39 I obviously aggravated it when we played Tennessee in the first half against them.
00:44 Or just aggravated against Tennessee and
00:46 then re-aggravated it in the first quarter against Seahawks.
00:49 So I was able to finish as well as I could.
00:52 But man, after that last play I came out, man, it just was really bothering me.
00:55 So, but I feel great now with a week of rest, feel ready to go.
01:00 So we'll see what their plan is for the end of the week and
01:03 how everything go at practice.
01:04 >> You mentioned actual football.
01:06 I assume you'll be watching the 49ers tonight ahead of Sunday's game?
01:09 >> Yeah, yeah, no, absolutely, man.
01:10 I've just been spending a little time catching up on a little bit of their film
01:13 as well, trying to get ahead, seeing some of the stuff they ran against them in 21.
01:18 But it's a really good football team, man.
01:20 We're gonna have our hands full heading out there.
01:23 >> We were getting ready to go up against a defensive front as talented as the 49ers.
01:27 Does that go into your decision at all of wanting to make sure you're back?
01:31 >> No, not at all, man.
01:32 I just, I wanna be there for my teammates.
01:34 And that's what's most important to me, man.
01:36 It's just a group of guys that are counting on me to be out there and
01:39 be available.
01:40 So I would say that's really more what's on the front of my mind.
01:44 >> Orlando, with every team in the division winning yesterday, and
01:48 obviously you get to three and three.
01:51 But do you feel like there's a heightened sense of urgency about the second half of
01:55 the season for you guys, knowing when you won a Super Bowl with the Chiefs?
02:00 How important is the second half?
02:02 >> Yeah, very important.
02:03 We're facing some really good football teams.
02:05 As you said, man, the FC North is, obviously these teams are playing great.
02:09 And some of the other FC opponents that we have to face as well,
02:13 Buffalo, Kansas City, Jacksonville, some really good football teams.
02:17 So it'll be our part, man, to have that urgency week to week, man.
02:22 Right now, all we can really focus on is San Francisco, though.
02:25 >> Do you take a lot of pride in a matchup where you might end up facing
02:27 Bosa a good amount?
02:28 I mean, how excited are you for matchups like that?
02:31 >> Yeah, very excited, man.
02:32 This is what I got paid to do, and what I get paid to do, man,
02:35 playing against the best in the world.
02:37 So super excited about the opportunity for that.
02:39 >> Do you keep your brain at all about what Bosa's like going into the week or no?
02:42 >> Yeah, I mean, I faced him a few times, too.
02:43 I faced him in college two years, faced him in the NFL two or three times.
02:47 Man, he's a really good player, special talent as well, a guy that, I mean,
02:51 I can't remember how much they just gave him, but I think it was 200 plus M's, man.
02:53 He's worth every penny.
02:55 >> What stands out when you've played against him, just what he brings as a player?
02:58 >> Yeah, man, I mean, I think him and his brother do a really good job of doing
03:01 the little things right, man.
03:02 They do a great job with their hands, very accurate and very active,
03:06 which is a rare combination that you see from a lot of guys with their type of
03:10 athleticism, they're very fundamental.
03:12 >> Brian Callahan.
03:13 >> When you're back, Trent Williams is on the other side of the ball.
03:17 Where do you see him, and does that get you jacked up, too?
03:21 >> Yeah, definitely, man, definitely, man.
03:24 Trent, I mean, plainly put, man, he's the best in the game right now, and has been,
03:29 man, he's earned that respect.
03:30 He's earned that from his peers, coaches, media, all of that,
03:33 just with his consistency over the last nine years, man.
03:35 But it definitely gets me fired up, that's my guy.
03:37 >> Is there anything that he does that you kinda would like to,
03:40 that you work on, that you would like to emulate?
03:43 >> Man, honestly, he's a refrigerator on wheels.
03:46 I wish I was half as athletic as that.
03:48 But some of the things he does fundamentally in pass pro, man,
03:50 with his hands, I study a little bit.
03:53 Not saying that I can emulate it, cuz my game's a lot different.
03:56 We also play in slightly different systems as well.
03:58 But I really like what he does backside, man, on the cutoffs with the trap
04:02 technique, snatching guys to the ground.
04:04 I think that's something that I've kinda applied to my game a little bit.
04:07 >> How do you think you guys are progressing as a group?
04:11 >> I think we're progressing really well.
04:13 Man, I think the importance to understanding the continuity of an
04:17 offensive line, man, is honestly based on a lot of other factors.
04:20 And how well the quarterback is playing, how well the receivers are playing,
04:24 how the play calls, the system, the flow of the game.
04:26 All of those things go hand in hand with offensive line success.
04:28 You look at some of the great ones over the course of the NFL, and
04:32 all of those things kinda stand together with that.
04:34 So I think, man, as an offense, man, we're coming along really well.
04:38 Everyone's kinda getting to that point where they wanna be.
04:41 Obviously, man, Joe's getting healthy and
04:44 being able to do what he needs to do as well.
04:45 >> What do you know about Joe now that you didn't before playing with him?
04:48 >> Well, man, obviously being on the other side, man,
04:53 he was always very accurate with the football, man.
04:56 And something that I noticed, man,
04:58 is he's a guy that his attention to detail is special.
05:01 And I think that's what really separates him as a quarterback,
05:04 really puts him in that elite category, man.
05:06 Being able to truly diagnose defenses and pinpoint the ball where he needs to.
