00:00 Everything that he said was taken,
00:05 everything what Bobby said was right.
00:07 We had to play that way.
00:09 I can remember it so many times
00:16 when we were coming in at halftime,
00:18 we might be nil-nil or even losing.
00:21 He would always say, "We will score four."
00:25 That was his way.
00:26 We were gonna score four.
00:28 And 'cause ironically in 1968,
00:31 the European Cup final, we were nil-nil at halftime
00:33 and we scored four goals, but okay, went to extra time.
00:37 But that was his attitude.
00:38 And we all went along with that.
00:40 That was the main thing.
00:42 I think I was like nine years playing with Bobby
00:46 in Old Sheffield.
00:48 And every day was, and this is how we were,
00:53 it was fun.
00:55 It was fun.
00:56 We had, okay, when you lose a match,
00:58 you lose a match, you know.
00:59 But Bobby was absolutely incredible,
01:03 the way he went through everything.
01:06 I mean, don't forget he was top of the tree
01:08 in respect along with Dennis and George, really.
01:12 But him winning the World Cup
01:13 and being captain for the European Cup final as well.
01:17 His legacy is the way he treated every player
01:21 who played in the team,
01:24 when he played in the same team.
01:26 Everyone looked up to him
01:27 because, okay, we know the situation,
01:30 but everyone looked up to him and listened to him.
01:34 He played nicely, but you knew, you know,
01:38 deep down what you had to do
01:40 because of the way Bobby wanted to play.
01:42 We will never, never know what Bobby could have done
01:45 on the pitches today with that ball.
01:48 But I think if you spoke to any player
01:51 that's playing today in any league,
01:55 you know, even the top Premier League,
01:57 and you said to them, you know,
01:59 "Would you like Bobby Shelton to play on your team?"
02:01 They would say yes.
