00:04 I have a new co-host here, as you can see.
00:07 Not really, we left Brad a minute ago
00:09 to come up here and check out the UFO experience.
00:13 So you guys, I don't know if I'm necessarily a believer,
00:17 but this place might make a believer out of me.
00:20 And we have an amazing guest here today
00:22 that I'm so excited to talk with.
00:24 Shane, how are you doing today?
00:26 - Good, how are you doing, Lexi?
00:27 - I'm fantastic.
00:28 So this place is so cool.
00:31 When I walked in, I was shocked that all of this is here.
00:33 You have no idea on the outside.
00:35 You walk in, it's so cool in here.
00:38 All kinds of displays.
00:39 Tell me about what people will experience
00:40 when they come to the UFO experience.
00:41 - Yeah, it's a really great production here.
00:45 I think it has something for everyone,
00:46 whether you're kind of on the skeptical side
00:48 or a real believer.
00:50 It's great for the kids, it's very interactive.
00:53 It's very informative and interesting.
00:55 And they've done a great job.
00:57 They selected the right cases,
00:59 the right evidence to present.
01:00 It's really worth your time and effort.
01:03 - Because this isn't just about movies and shows.
01:06 This is actual real evidence
01:08 that people have seen unidentified flying objects.
01:12 Is that correct?
01:12 - Oh yeah, absolutely.
01:14 And when you look at the statistics,
01:15 about 85% of reported UFOs can be identified.
01:20 Well, we kind of don't care about the identified stuff.
01:23 It's the unidentified, that other percentage
01:25 that is really interesting.
01:27 And they display some of that evidence here.
01:30 - And now Shane, after reading your bio,
01:32 I know you are a UFO expert
01:33 and a self-proclaimed science nerd,
01:36 is what you call yourself.
01:38 And I know you've had an experience
01:40 with some extraterrestrial things.
01:43 So tell me a little bit about that.
01:44 - Yeah, in my role as Assistant Director
01:48 of Arizona MOVE Fund,
01:50 we are the world's largest UFO investigative organization,
01:54 5,000 members worldwide, 1,000 investigators.
01:57 And I've worked hundreds and hundreds of cases.
01:59 And in those cases, you range everything
02:03 from something very prosaic
02:05 and to some really anomalous stuff.
02:08 So one of the cases I like to highlight for people
02:11 is the Phoenix Lights incident here in Arizona,
02:14 because it's really the world's largest mass sighting.
02:18 Thousands of people's reported seeing something.
02:21 And I know that that was in 1997.
02:23 And so a lot of people have since moved to Arizona
02:26 and aren't aware of that history,
02:28 but it is a really compelling case.
02:30 And to this day, some 25, 30 years later,
02:33 it's still unsolved.
02:35 - So cool.
02:36 Yeah, those are the kind of things that, I don't know,
02:39 maybe might make me, as a kind of a skeptic,
02:41 might make me a believer.
02:42 But Shane, thank you so much for sharing.
