00:00 >> I have tackles for loss, we had a pass selection in there too.
00:03 Really like you were just flying all over the place when you had your opportunity.
00:07 What about this last game really kind of you think solidified things for
00:11 you in your role?
00:11 >> I feel like I've been just trying to work each week and
00:17 find whatever I'm deficient at, just improve it.
00:21 Playing faster and not thinking about making mistakes is the biggest thing.
00:28 So I feel like I've just done that better each week.
00:31 And then this past game, I put it all together and
00:33 I just wanna keep building on that every week.
00:36 >> What kind of impact does Pete Jenkins make for you guys?
00:40 >> Pete Jenkins, he's a OG.
00:43 He's one of the best coaches I've ever been around.
00:46 He knows so much in D-line play.
00:52 It's crazy, you can ask him any question and
00:55 he knows exactly what you should do and how to do it.
00:59 Pass rush, run blocking, stunting, all over the field.
01:04 He understands it great and
01:05 having him in that room is taking my game to another level.
01:09 >> Give an example of something you learned through him.
01:12 >> I could really go through anything, just from hand placement to
01:16 just the intensity you need to play at, stance, things like that.
01:23 They're all over the spectrum of D-line play.
01:26 >> I mean, you guys are obviously, might be without Makiah this weekend,
01:33 one of the most better players.
01:35 Just as a defensive line, I think you're mostly on the D-end.
01:40 But is there some flexibility, versatility, and
01:42 a few that you think you can play inside some?
01:44 Or are you pretty much strictly on the D-end spot?
01:46 >> I play wherever they tell me to play.
01:49 >> [LAUGH] >> I guess just kind of following up on
01:54 that, just how do you go about replacing a guy who's been that productive for
01:57 you guys?
01:58 It's gonna probably take, I guess, a team effort.
02:01 >> I don't think it's about thinking about it like that.
02:03 It's more so just next man up doing your job.
02:06 Going back to Pete Jenkins, having him in the room, and
02:10 then next guy up, everyone's ready to go.
02:12 So I feel fine with whoever's on the line.
02:16 Not whether we have Wingo or don't have Wingo.
02:19 I think we'll be okay.
02:20 Wingo's a big piece.
02:21 He's a great player, and he does a lot.
02:24 But I think if he doesn't play, I think we'll be good.
02:28 >> Where have you seen the most growth?
02:30 I mean, obviously you talked about Pete, but for you, I mean, specifically,
02:34 I didn't talk about hand placement.
02:35 What's been that one thing that you really wanted to get better at and
02:37 you're starting to see some growth?
02:39 >> I think from the start of the season, I feel like just playing faster
02:45 without thinking too much on making mistakes and being able to read
02:50 what I'm getting at a faster pace so I can play faster has really improved my game.
02:56 I think when I started the season, I was thinking a little bit too much, and
03:02 that was slowing me down, and now I'm just playing faster free.
