00:00 I started Wee Ba Naan in 2013 when I was living and working in Canada.
00:06 I noticed how many healthy, kind of convenience foods they had over there.
00:11 And we didn't have anything like this in Australia at the time.
00:15 So I started playing with recipes and making snacks for myself.
00:22 And I thought that, you know, this is something that I can bring back to Australia.
00:26 I was 23 when I started Wee Ba Naan.
00:28 But I think people definitely didn't take me that seriously in the beginning because
00:33 of my age.
00:34 And I have experienced a bit of discrimination over the years due to my age and my gender
00:41 sometimes, which is kind of disappointing.
00:43 But I've also created relationships with businesses that support me for those reasons.
00:51 Running a sustainable business has always been important to me and I've always been
00:54 looking for ways to reduce my waste.
00:58 And I have been looking for home compostable packaging since I started my business really,
01:03 which is what allowed me to be one of the first in Australia to use it.
