00:00 So today we have the really exciting news that after the confirmation of the 28 sports
00:04 that the IOC had previously confirmed for Los Angeles, including skateboarding, surfing
00:09 and sport climbing, today we have the confirmation that the package of the five sports proposed
00:14 by Los Angeles was approved by the IOC session and now confirmed in the Games in LA.
00:19 Those five are baseball softball, flag football, cricket, lacrosse and squash.
00:24 Each of them brings a really different dynamic to the Games, team sports, in most cases individual
00:29 sport with squash, reaching out to different communities around the US and around the world.
00:35 So they really bring something individual from each of them but work together really
00:39 well as a package to supplement and work with the 28 sports we already have confirmed.
