00:00 A sign for every hostage.
00:05 More than a week after Hamas struck Israel with terror, killing and kidnapping civilians,
00:10 people have come together here in Tel Aviv.
00:17 Some are blaming the government.
00:18 Others came in solidarity with victims' families.
00:24 Maya Asraf belongs to one of them.
00:26 The 24-year-old is missing six of her own family members.
00:36 At around 10.30am, terrorists entered their home, dozens of them, armed with knives, waving
00:43 the knives at them and shouting.
00:46 I spoke with Doron in the last minute and she sent me a recording.
00:50 "Maya, there are terrorists here.
00:52 We are alone.
00:53 They are shouting."
00:54 Doron Katz is her aunt.
01:00 She was taken together with her small daughters Aviv and Raz.
01:04 They were a visiting family in Niroz, a kibbutz close to Gaza.
01:08 Ravid Katz, the uncle, is missing too, as is his elderly mother Efrat and her husband
01:13 Gad Moshe Moses.
01:15 "I'm here because my family has no voice right now.
01:23 They are dead or kidnapped.
01:25 I'm here to be their voice.
01:28 I expect from the world the maximum amount of intervention."
01:37 She learned what happened through a Hamas TikTok video.
01:40 Maya tells us her aunt's phone was later located in Gaza.
01:44 The situation is desperate.
01:46 Maya's aunt is a German citizen.
01:48 But in her situation, that doesn't help.
01:52 It wasn't just Israelis that Hamas killed and kidnapped.
01:56 Forty-three different nationalities were represented among their hostages.
02:01 As many as 150 people have been abducted and are believed to still be held hostage in Gaza.
02:07 Their families don't know where they are, how they are doing, and if they are even still
02:11 alive.
02:14 People in Israel are united in the conviction that there needs to be a response.
02:18 But what exactly this should look like, at least at this protest, isn't clear.
02:24 "The Israeli government must focus first of all on doing whatever is necessary in order
02:32 to release the hijacked people, instead of focusing on trying to do some kind of revenge
02:37 or whatever they are trying to do."
02:39 "I think the only option we have now, unfortunately, is to clear Gaza."
02:46 "So many people in Israel understand that this blood circle is not the solution.
02:53 It never was, it never will be."
02:55 At this point, though, the bloodshed seems like it is far from over.
