00:39 On August 31, the Philippine National Computer Emergency Response Team reported

00:46 On October 8, some data was published on Facebook

00:51 According to the Department of Information and Communications Technology,

00:54 the experts and their contacts received 10,000 names,

00:58 just like the email.

00:59 It was found that the hackers in DOST and PSA were the same.

01:03 Our lead in the local NBI is requesting for more information about us.

01:08 We will be providing them all the details.

01:12 OneExpert said that the hackers in the portal were listed as data breach.

01:16 We have informed them that their names were published as well as their email addresses.

01:21 But DOST Secretary Renato Solidum said that there was no other sensitive data that was stolen.

01:26 If you look at the data that was breached, it's the same publicly available or same data posted in the website.

01:33 So as if you don't need to go there because you can see it.

01:38 So it's not an indication of vulnerability of DOST?

01:41 No, because it's not. It's a system that was separated from our own system.

01:48 However, because the government's hacked agencies admitted to DICT that they need to strengthen the data protection measures of the agencies.
