Joe Burrow on Bengals' Offense, Health and Ja'Marr Chase
Transcript
00:00 It was the first touchdown.
00:01 First touchdown, I was able to slide right,
00:03 play on my leg, throw back across my body.
00:06 After that, I felt like I was pretty good.
00:08 Obviously, there's been a lot of moments
00:10 that I thought I was good and it turned out not.
00:12 So I just got to continue to keep getting healthier,
00:15 keep working on it, keep working on my body.
00:16 It'll be good.
00:17 - How long was that?
00:18 Was that just a mental thing,
00:19 just for you to be able to play as well as you do today,
00:21 which is having mental confidence that it's gonna be okay
00:24 if I do the things I normally do?
00:25 How much of that was getting that,
00:27 once you felt good on that?
00:29 - Yeah, it was a lot of different things.
00:33 I played okay.
00:35 Jamar played great, as he always does.
00:37 Owen played really well.
00:39 It was a combination of all the things.
00:40 - You mentioned that 60 million times,
00:41 Joe, back here, about Jamar, about playing Jamar.
00:45 What can you say about him today?
00:46 The record-setting game that he had,
00:47 and just kind of what it means to get this thing back
00:50 in the right direction?
00:51 - Yeah, he's obviously one of the best in the league,
00:53 so gonna continue to feed him.
00:56 We're gonna find ways to move him around
00:58 so teams can't take him away.
01:00 We're gonna continue to get better at that,
01:01 and he's gonna continue to do what he does.
01:03 - And the deep ball, how much does that mean,
01:05 just to see that happening again?
01:06 Because he's obviously said he wants to see it
01:08 happen more often, finally break through on that one.
01:12 - Yeah, we were able to connect on that one,
01:14 and then we gotta continue to connect on those.
01:16 One means nothing if we go over 12 in the next one,
01:19 so we're just gonna continue to get better.
