00:00 life. So I'm Sarah Walsh alongside Kyle, Brent, Peter Schrager and our Super Bowl
00:03 champion Jason McCourty. Jamie was awesome on the game yesterday. She really
00:08 was. Jamie covered at Jacksonville versus Buffalo. She was with Trevor Lawrence
00:11 after the game. We're gonna play it in a little bit and we're still kind of
00:14 shocked, intoxicated from Niners Cowboys. How would you describe the reaction to
00:18 that last night? Oh, intoxicated, yes. The Cowboys looked like they were. It was not
00:22 a fair match. It was not fun to watch but it was very fun to watch. Peter enjoyed it.
00:27 I'm not anti-Cowboys. It was like watching a football clinic last night.
00:31 It was beautiful. I like to see two teams compete. Fair enough.
00:34 Some people like total dominance though. They really do. Something like participation
00:39 awards. That's the pre-show chatter. I got people chirping at me and flag football guys.
00:44 Never mind that. Can we get to the lead clock? For the love of God, Demon Football and they
00:50 destroyed the Cowboys. This was not even competitive in the second half. 5-0,
00:54 42 points. Lots to see here. Come for Bosa in a bedhead and a backpack and wait
01:00 till Dak Prescott tells you what he felt about this game. Go ahead. He was really
01:05 good. Everybody was pretty good but I thought he missed one throw throughout
01:11 the day from what it seems like. Just a little behind BA in the first quarter on
01:14 one and everything else seemed pretty flawless. He did a great job. There's a
01:18 real good pass rush, some tight coverages. Guys gave him some time and also the guys
01:23 made a lot of plays too. Right now, it feels like everyone's just on a mission
01:26 man. The mindset is right where it needs to be. Everyone's so detailed in
01:30 what they do. The play calls are great. All I got to do is go out there,
01:35 do my job and that's it. Just play ball. I'm definitely incredibly confident in
01:42 our offense. They could attack in any way. You got Iyuku who could go deep. You got
01:47 Debo. You got Christian. You got George. There's really no weakness and then Brock
01:52 is playing as one of the best quarterbacks in the league.
01:59 So they look dominant last night. Guys, I guess I'll start here. Would you make it that
02:04 big Niners win over the Cowboys? What do you take away from it, Peter? Sarah, we
02:07 built this up as like an NFC Championship preview and that this is
02:10 like two of the three teams that are gonna be the front. Cowboys didn't belong
02:14 on the same field as the 49ers yesterday and the big takeaway for me is that
02:17 Brock Purdy might be one of the best quarterbacks in the entire NFL. Go ahead, Peter.
02:20 Is that crazy? At what point do we stop giving a million different
02:25 "yeah, buts"? Yeah, I know he's got a million weapons. I know he's got a great
02:28 offensive line. I know he's in a great system. He throws the ball beautifully
02:32 and he's so precise. This 49ers team right now is 5-0 and they've won by an
02:38 average margin of 20 points a game. They're running through teams and you
02:44 know this guy's special when Kyle Shanahan's press conference, he's talking
02:47 about the one pass he missed all night. The B.A. The one. He was a little late on IU. This drive here, I'm just showing.
02:53 He is the real deal and at some point it's not a fairy tale story about Mr.
02:59 Relevant. And I thought that point was when he took his team to the
03:02 NFC Championship game last year. Agreed. But now there's this extra element where like, gets the
03:06 elbow injury, comes back and he's even better. We could go a million directions
03:10 on this one. We're gonna talk Cowboys throughout the show too, don't worry. We
03:14 know that there's a story to be told there. But to me it's the Brock Purdy
03:17 show and like we've been grasping week to week. Is it Tua? Is it Josh Allen? Is it
03:21 Christian McCaffrey? Did Purdy insert himself into the catbird seat of that
03:26 MVP conversation? Because I don't see him making mistakes. His team doesn't lose
03:30 and it's a quarterback's award. He might be the best quarterback in football this
03:34 week and he might be the best quarterback in football this season if
03:36 they keep on playing like this. Brock Purdy is awesome and I'm tired of making
03:39 excuses and saying it's all the things surrounding him that makes him who he is.
03:42 What's crazy is to your point, one of the guys I play with that's still playing in
03:45 the league and our group text last night was just like, "Is Brock Purdy a
03:50 young Tom Brady?" And we were like, "Alright now, slow down now." Tom was out there making a lot
03:55 to do with not as great weapons on the outside. Purdy doing his thing with
04:00 what he has and to think Kyle Shanahan this whole time was searching for the guy
04:03 to get this offense over the hump. It was Brock Purdy and he's
04:07 balling and you look at him on offense and McCaffrey at 51 yards rushing, one
04:12 touchdown, Iuke Debo Samuel less than 60 yards receiving and they still dominate
04:16 and part of that is because how good the defense is and you guys said it in the
04:20 highlights, Fred Warner is unbelievable. Probably the best linebacker in football
04:26 right now. He just makes play after play. The guy that stands beside him, Dre
04:30 Greenlaw. I saw people tweeting last night, "Is this Navarro Bowman and Patrick
04:34 Willis?" And it's just like, that's what those two guys look like. Unbelievable.
04:37 Prime time and they're just making plays. You're watching the first half when the
04:41 game was still kind of in the balance and both of them have a sack. Fred Warner
04:46 punches one out on the sideline. Later on he comes with an interception. It's just
04:49 so impressive to watch these guys work. Their entire defense but that guy that
04:54 stands in the middle and Fred Warner, his ability against the run. What was so
04:58 impressive is him in the pass game. There was a play yesterday where he's running
05:02 stride for stride with Brandon Cooks on a deep pass and he's all the way down
05:07 the field. It's unbelievable to watch their defense work, especially those two
05:10 guys in the middle. I remember when the Niners crushed Pittsburgh in week one.
05:14 We're like, "Damn, they're incredible." We got to get someone who can
05:17 fight with them. We need to get someone who can fight back. You do
05:20 the thing where you look at the schedule. Week five, that's perfect.
05:23 The Cowboys. This was nothing. Now I'm just sitting like, "When can they play
05:27 the Eagles? Can you please bring them the Eagles so we can see really how good they are?"
05:31 December 8th. I can't wait till then, Peter. We've got things to do. December 8th is the date.
05:35 That's like two months from now. We should because this was not a
05:40 game. This was not competitive. The dominance of the Purdy offense, the
05:44 Shanahan offense, whatever you want to call it, there's this thing where they get 30
05:46 every single time and sometimes they get 40. Look historically at the longest
05:51 streak of getting 30s and see if you notice something about the quarterbacks
05:54 here. These are the most consecutive streaks with 30-plus points. Look at the
05:57 guys. We got the greatest show. We got Brady. We got the Peyton Broncos. We've got later
06:04 career, earlier career Brady and then Brock Purdy who is now sitting here at
06:08 eight. It's like that's a ridiculous full screen. Come on. Those guys are all first.
06:12 Ballard, Kurt's in eventually. You know the deal. I'm wearing
06:17 this shirt right now and this was sent to me by a female fan of our show named
06:21 Rita Oak. She is an artist and she's been listening to what I've been
06:25 saying and said, "I hope you will too. This is not a human being that we're
06:28 dealing with. It's not Brock Purdy. It's Bot Purdy." Rita Oak who sent us this is
06:31 part of what I call the resistance. You think, "Oh, it's just some silly fan
06:35 stuff." Is it? Or are there people integrally involved in this who are
06:39 showing us signs and winking and saying, "Brock Purdy is not a human being." George
06:44 Kittle, you're part of the resistance, aren't you? Tell us after the game.
06:47 Brock's pocket awareness and being able to move and like keep his feet in position
06:52 so he can make all those throws. He's like, he's a robot, man. He's just very
06:56 special. Guys, Kittle's straight up saying he's a robot. You think that's a
07:03 coincidence? I think it goes back all the way to the top. I've been discouraged
07:08 from talking about it. People from the league are saying enough with the Bot
07:11 Purdy stuff. I won't be silenced. I'm gonna sit here and do it on the league's network. It's not a
07:14 human being. It's an Android. Last night, I gotta tell you, there was the car
07:18 outside my house. It was like a black SUV. Full tint. I got up in the middle of the night
07:24 in my robe and I opened the door and I said, "Can I help you?" It just peeled away.
07:27 Then they're watching me. I think my phone is tapped and I will not be
07:30 silenced and neither will George Kittle. I respect you, George. That's not a human
07:34 being, guys. I've been telling you and you and you and you have these bemused
07:37 little looks at me. Please, please wake up. Join the resistance. I do not condone
07:42 machines taking over our great sport that we have built for so long. Human
07:45 beings only. The Niners have a machine at quarterback. It's not fair and
07:49 they're becoming self-aware. So let's do something while we can. Still hasn't
07:52 thrown an interception. He leads the league in everything. One bad pass.
07:56 Oh my God. The engineering was off on the pass to BA. We need to go in the lab and
08:04 correct that little screwdriver. They'll fix it for next week. He's not a
08:08 man, guys. He's a machine. Wake up. Wake up, sheeple. Let's go. I think there was
08:12 just so much talk about the AFC. Look at the AFC. Look at the AFC.
08:16 The NFC, whatever, over here because all the teams are there.
08:20 Look at what this team is doing and this is the NFC. I think everyone
08:23 looks at them now as the team to beat. By the way, it's not like we didn't know
08:26 that they were good because they were really good last year. It was always the
08:29 well, if only they weren't dealing with these injuries and they're trying to
08:32 like fill this guy in this spot and now this is a healthy Niners team which you
08:37 knew was good but look what happens when they are actually healthy. It is
08:41 scary for the rest of the league.
