00:00 [Pelayani] Dato Putuwa, the government has reconsidered continuing the PLKN.
00:09 The Ministerial Committee in 2021 has approved a new way to continue the PLKN.
00:21 The PLKN is a good way to provide a foundation for the country's order to our citizens.
00:31 A special committee has been established by the Ministry of Defence to study
00:40 how we revive the PLKN, but with a new template.
00:48 We are not following the old template, where the PLKN was done in summer camps.
01:01 We want to make it less costly, but more beneficial to the human capital
01:15 that will be part of the PLKN.
01:18 The Ministry of Defence has given several opinions to the Ministry
01:28 and we have asked for a change until the Ministry sees that participation in school is important.
01:42 Not only after school, but also during the first and second phase of the PLKN.
01:53 After the PM, they will be in the second phase.
01:56 The children born during the second phase of the PLKN will be welcomed by other agencies.
02:07 We are studying this, where under the PLKN, only 16-year-olds, up to 35 years old,
02:19 students in level 4, who are now in the Ministry of Education,
02:24 have a body-uniform curriculum,
02:30 with a body-uniform curriculum,
02:37 and the government can give them a body-uniform curriculum.
02:44 But they will not be in level 5.
02:48 When they are out, we will welcome them.
02:53 But this time, we want to make it in military camps.
03:00 There are many military camps, and many of them are ideal for use.
03:08 So we will train, but it will not take the same time as before.
03:12 We will take 45 days only,
03:16 where 90% of the second phase of the PLKN is already in school.
03:23 In the second phase, we will train the army,
03:27 to build their self-esteem as a strong, energetic, healthy person.
03:33 90% to the army, 10% to the government.
03:39 And we will use military camps.
03:41 There are 13 camps in the country.
03:45 There is one camp in the police training center, Jalan Tembak,
03:49 which can accommodate 4,000 people for one year.
03:54 And we can train more or less 20,000 people,
03:58 for 45 days.
04:02 And the training staff is already there,
04:05 so it's less expensive.
04:08 It's very cheap.
04:09 If we used to spend more than 500 million a year,
04:14 this time, from the paper work,
04:17 by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
04:19 we will not spend more than 100 million.
04:23 Good savings, Mr. President.
