00:00 >> Sorry, we got haters here.
00:02 >> You're all good.
00:03 >> Just walk me through that game when he touched him.
00:07 >> I mean, we ran the play and it happened that I was the one that opened up and
00:13 dealing through beautiful ball, couldn't ask for a more perfect ball and I scored.
00:19 >> What was the feeling when that drive started?
00:20 Cuz they had all the momentum, you haven't been at 15,
00:23 that's a lot of pressure on them.
00:25 >> We had a lot of confidence, we were all calm, very, very cool headed.
00:28 We knew what we were able to do and what we did.
00:31 And I mean, Dylan, he commanded that offense all the way down the field,
00:35 just like we had done in thousands of practices before.
00:38 So we were ready for that moment.
00:39 >> I know you're familiar with LA a little bit, but
00:41 do you know the term Sooner Magic?
00:43 And if so, what's it feel like to now be a part of that?
00:45 >> I mean, I'm blessed.
00:48 That's all I can say.
00:49 I'm thankful.
00:51 >> Did you heard of it?
00:52 You heard of it from Rodney?
00:53 >> Of course, of course.
00:54 I mean, you step foot on campus, you know about Sooner Magic.
00:57 And it's crazy to be a part of it.
00:59 >> What about Dylan?
01:00 He's getting probably a lot of attention nationally after this game,
01:03 especially after that moment with that pass to you.
01:05 Just what have you seen from this year?
01:07 And do you think he's kind of worthy of the Heisman title?
01:09 It's probably gonna come with this.
01:10 >> I mean, I've been saying this since week one.
01:13 We all, the whole receiver's board has been saying this since week one.
01:15 I mean, I don't understand why he shouldn't be in the Heisman running.
01:19 I mean, he's deserving.
01:20 He has the staffs to back it up.
01:21 And I mean, I see what he did today.
01:23 I mean, he really ran everybody in, really commanded our offense.
01:27 And it's just down the field, so.
01:29 >> Sorry about that.
01:30 >> No, you're all good. >> I know you said it was a bit of a blur
01:32 after the catch, but you see Dylan look towards you,
01:34 see that ball starting to spiral your way.
01:36 Just what's going through your mind at that moment?
01:38 >> I said it before, I think it was my parents, but it slowed down crazy.
01:42 I've never been in a moment like that where just everything was moving in slow
01:47 motion. I felt like the ball was in there for
01:48 30 seconds.
01:49 But when it got into my hands, it's just, I mean,
01:54 the thousands of balls that I catch every week, I mean, just routine.
01:58 >> You turn around and you see you're on the OU side of the stadium,
02:01 whole crowd going crazy, just how was that visual like?
02:04 >> All I could do is scream, that's why my voice sounds like this.
02:07 But just all my emotions poured out in that moment.
02:09 And I think every single person on that sideline came up to me.
02:14 So I was just trying to get to everybody, trying to embrace that,
02:16 cuz I couldn't have done it without them, so.
02:18 >> Is it a play design for you?
02:21 >> No, it's just a play that's designed for the first person that comes over.
02:24 And it happened to be me, and I'm blessed.
02:26 >> Was that just a corner rub off of Austin Stong, or
02:29 is that basically all it was?
02:31 >> I mean- >> You find him and
02:33 angle off of him?
02:34 >> I think, I don't really know, honestly.
02:37 I know my route, and I know what I'm supposed to do.
02:39 And I mean, your rubs weren't being talked about, so
02:43 it was just a play call, so I read the route.
02:46 >> Can you hear the crowd when the ball's in the air?
02:48 Do you sense anything?
02:49 You said it slowed down, so.
02:51 >> I can't hear anything when I'm on the field.
02:53 I'm not even gonna lie to you.
02:54 I mean, I can speak for probably all the players on the field.
02:57 When we're on that field, we're so locked into our assignment that everything else
03:00 just kinda quiets down, so.
03:02 >> Nick, you obviously have some history with this game,
03:05 having driving been here, and obviously you were here last year.
03:09 Are you able to sort of relish the way that this game,
03:13 I mean this will count going down as one of the classics in this rivalry,
03:16 which has been happening for a long time.
03:18 Just playing a role in a game like this, what does that mean to you?
03:22 >> I mean, even if I just had one play and nothing happened,
03:25 I'd be blessed to be a part of this game.
03:27 I mean, I've said it ever since I started playing.
03:30 I mean, this game has just given so much to me, and
03:32 I'm just glad I can give a little bit back.
03:33 And I just love football.
03:37 >> What stands out to you about that last drive?
03:40 I mean, obviously you scored the touchdown, but
03:41 is there anything else just in the way that you guys were able to,
03:44 not just get in the field, but right in the field, score a touchdown?
03:47 What stands out to you about that?
03:48 >> I always go back to leaning on Dylan's confidence and
03:51 his just ability to command the offense.
03:54 One play that sticks out to me was a little scramble drill where
03:58 Drake comes open and he makes a huge gain down the field.
04:01 I mean, that gives us so much momentum.
04:03 I mean, props to him.
04:04 I mean, my gosh, he's been clutch all season, all throughout his career.
04:08 And he came up big, so.
04:10 >> Dylan was running, not just running around today, but he was taking some shots.
04:14 >> Of course. >> Like a couple, he was just-
04:15 >> Just putting money on the line.
04:15 >> Yeah, standing up and guys were hitting him really hard in the pile.
04:20 What does that say about, he finished like this, what does that say about him?
04:24 >> I mean, I have so much respect for him already.
04:26 So on top of that, just the way he put his body out on the line,
04:29 it made me wanna just put mine on the line.
04:32 I remember somebody before the game, we got shown a video from a former player.
04:36 Sorry for not remembering exactly who it was, but he said,
04:39 we should have a five gallon bucket and a rake to get you off the field.
04:42 So I feel like he embodied that, I feel like Dylan embodied that, so.
04:47 >> Wow.
04:48 >> You and your brother kinda have a competition, who's the best player,
04:51 who you think, is it with the Osmond or with-
04:54 >> I mean, now that you said that,
04:56 it's probably gonna be a little bit of a competition now.
04:58 But I mean, I'm just trying to live up to the game like he did, so.
