00:02 Be honest.
00:03 I am being honest.
00:05 Fans are absolutely losing it over a clip of Victoria and David Beckham fighting about whether she's working class.
00:13 The hilarious moment plays out in David's new Netflix docuseries Beckham, which dropped on the streaming platform October 4th.
00:20 When Victoria discusses their early days of meeting and dating each other, she says they bonded over being from humble beginnings.
00:27 But David calls cap on that, pokes his head in the door of the interview and demands answers.
00:32 We both come from families that work really hard.
00:35 Both of our parents work really hard.
00:37 We're very working, working class.
00:40 Be honest.
00:41 I am being honest.
00:43 And Becks doesn't stop giving his wife the third degree.
00:47 I am being honest.
00:48 What car did your dad drive you to school in?
00:51 So my dad did...
00:52 No, one answer.
00:53 My dad...
00:54 What car was it?
00:55 It's not a simple answer because...
00:57 What car did you get your dad to drive you to school in?
01:00 It depends.
01:01 No, no, no, no, no.
01:02 Okay, in the 80s my dad had a Rolls Royce.
01:04 Thank you.
01:05 I mean, they don't call her posh spice for nothing, right?
01:10 The internet is so impressed with David's hardball skills thanks to the clip, which has been circulating on social media,
01:16 that one fan calls him the last remaining investigative journalist.
01:20 While another thinks David should play a role in the next US election, declaring,
01:24 "Only Beckham can moderate the 2024 presidential debates."
01:27 There you have it.
01:28 Whether he's searching for an opening on the pitch or for the truth, David is relentless.
01:33 The couple also discusses falling in love in the spotlight,
01:36 with him a huge soccer star and her a member of the mega successful Spice Girls.
01:40 Everything about Victoria I loved.
01:43 I didn't know she was the strong woman that she was.
01:49 And I liked that.
01:50 I don't know whether it was because I wanted her to look after me.
01:54 You must have felt sick.
01:56 Yeah.
01:57 She's a strong, strong woman.
02:00 Can be a pain in the ass, though.
02:02 Victoria and David also discussed the rough time after his trade to Real Madrid in 2003,
02:07 when the pair were surrounded by tabloid allegations of infidelity.
02:11 There was some horrible stories
02:18 that were difficult to deal with.
02:24 It was the first time that me and Victoria had been put under that kind of pressure in our marriage.
02:34 Would you say that was the hardest time in your marriage?
02:37 100%. It was the hardest period for us.
02:41 Because it felt like the world was against us.
02:44 And here's the thing, we were against each other, if I'm being completely honest.
02:49 You know, up until Madrid, sometimes it felt like us against everybody else.
02:57 But we were together, we were connected, we had each other.
03:01 But when we were in Spain, it didn't really feel like we had each other either.
03:05 And that's sad.
03:07 I can't even begin to tell you how hard it was.
03:14 And how it affected me.
03:18 You know, every time that we woke up, we felt, you know, there was something else.
03:24 And, you know, we felt that, I think we both felt at the time that we were not losing each other, but drowning.
03:33 But ultimately, they were able to weather this turbulent time.
03:37 And after 24 years of marriage, David and Victoria are still going strong.
03:41 Ahead of the docuseries release, Victoria said on Instagram October 3rd,
03:45 "I couldn't be more proud of you and us. I love you so much, David Beckham. I can't wait for you all to see Beckham."
