00:00 Everyone do more, starting first with us coaches.
00:03 But that comes down to trimming the list more, giving more clarity,
00:06 more detail, even demanding more from a practice standpoint.
00:10 But every person to a man, right,
00:12 asking an opportunity to be able to win your one on one matchups.
00:15 I think if you look across the last couple games, just four or
00:18 five plays here and there, where you have one guy with a mental error,
00:21 one guy with a wrong technique to kind of screw the entire play up.
00:24 But obviously, us playing together as a unit, being more focused on that, and
00:28 that's what it takes.
00:29 >> You mentioned changes this week.
00:31 Was that more dialogue or was it some of it schematic?
00:35 >> To me, it was less dialogue and more action.
00:36 I think also the overall approach and demeanor, as far as, like I said before,
00:42 demanding more out of our players and from ourselves,
00:44 is from a coaching staff standpoint.
00:46 That we're actually getting what we're kind of putting forth as far as the effort
00:49 and the building, the man hours, that it shows up on actual game day.
00:53 That we actually play the way that we actually practice.
00:55 We have an opportunity to go through different looks, different scenarios, and
00:59 have an execution that, for whatever reason,
01:01 has that transferred over to the actual game.
01:03 So that continues to be the focus, our approach.
01:06 And so it's more of that, kind of mostly from a schematic standpoint.
01:08 >> And you mentioned the identity you guys have in those discussions in March.
01:13 I think everybody still wants to know what is the identity of this offense?
01:17 >> That's a great question.
01:19 That's also my whole point to us when it comes to who we say we wanna be and
01:22 we put on tape.
01:23 I think it all still boils down to being physical in every single position.
01:27 I think we've been that way at times, but it hasn't always been consistent.
01:31 It still boils down to finding, creating, and winning matchups.
01:34 Which again, we've won some matchups,
01:35 we've had some explosive plays here and there, but it hasn't been consistent.
01:39 It also boils down to the stuff that takes no talent.
01:42 Way too many middle errors, way too many penalties.
01:45 So that is who we say we wanna be.
01:48 We gotta prove that.
01:49 >> Thomas, last year when they were having latencies in run game success,
01:54 doing a lot of power, a lot of trap, I know you brought in some wide zone.
01:59 Frank said you guys are probably running a little more zone.
02:02 >> Yeah.
02:03 >> Do you think that's been a transition for
02:07 these linemen to kinda go from that scheme to yours?
02:11 >> I would say it's gonna be an excuse.
02:13 I think scheme is scheme.
02:16 But we're just talking about an overall standpoint of the execution from
02:19 assignment-based standpoint.
02:20 It's the overall demeanor and approach you bring to it.
02:23 Last year is last year.
02:24 Obviously getting here was one of the highlights when it comes to those guys
02:28 being physical up front, us being able to kinda establish the run game and
02:30 kinda build off of that.
02:32 And it's time for us to answer that bill.
