00:00 Legacy Classic Trucks is an auto restoration business based out of Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
00:14 We're known for a lot of our four-wheel drive trucks, resto mods, for example, the Dodge
00:17 Power Wagon that we have here today.
00:20 This is one of 60 Dodge Power Wagons that we've built.
00:23 It's a full legacy conversion.
00:25 You've got power steering, hydro boost brakes, all the modern functionality that you would
00:29 come to expect in a really nice premium vehicle packaged in this cool, old-looking truck.
00:36 These were work trucks.
00:37 These were out there doing the toughest, nastiest jobs out there, whether you were in mining,
00:43 forestry, agriculture.
00:45 You have to remember that '46 to 1970 was a great time of growth in the American West,
00:50 so if you had a nasty job that you needed to get done, you needed a Dodge Power Wagon.
00:55 These were the four-wheel drive workhorses with the flat six engine, full floating axles,
01:02 came with a 10,000-pound Brayden winch on the front.
01:06 If you had something that was tough and nasty, you needed a Dodge Power Wagon.
01:10 So we've tried to keep all of the character of those original Power Wagons, not have them
01:15 lose their soul, but bring it up today to a package where it goes more than 40 miles
01:20 an hour.
01:21 This truck here today will cruise comfortably at 80 down the interstate, air conditioning
01:25 on, modern power, modern reliability.
01:28 So we've tried to keep the package original, keep what's great about the Dodge Power Wagon,
01:33 but take the performance up to the next level.
01:35 So I spend a lot of time driving around the Rocky Mountain West, and I find great, abandoned,
01:41 old Power Wagons tucked away in ranches, mines, forestry operations, and I go in and I rescue
01:47 these vehicles.
01:48 Sometimes that involves cutting trees out of them.
01:50 They're missing the bed.
01:52 They're missing pieces.
01:53 These things are hammered when I find them.
01:55 But each one comes with such a cool and unique history that when I find a vehicle, I want
02:00 to find out everything that I can about it.
02:03 That becomes the donor vehicle.
02:05 It, its history, all gets transferred to the new owner.
02:08 I build these vehicles to be functional.
02:11 They have to be incredibly reliable.
02:13 They have to be able to go to the most remote places in our country to get there and get
02:18 back.
02:19 So if you're into racing, fishing, oil and gas, whatever you're into, this truck is built
02:24 to take it.
