00:04 Heavy Duty and we're going to take this bad boy for a ride today.
00:14 So here we are finally behind the wheel of the 2020 Chevrolet Silverado HD and this truck
00:18 is a beast.
00:20 For 2020 you can expect higher payloads, more towing, all that thanks to an all new chassis
00:25 and suspension and an all new cabin.
00:27 The truck that we're in now is a 2500 crew cab and it's with the excellent 6.6 liter
00:32 Duramax engine that's now backed by a 10 speed Allison transmission and that Allison
00:37 transmission makes it the only heavy duty diesel to have more than 6 speeds.
00:41 And with this new cab, the truck is so quiet, it's so powerful and it's deceptively quick.
00:47 I mean you can barely hear it yet it pushes you back in the seat.
00:50 This has an easy to access snow plow prep package.
00:53 This has a trailer brake controller.
00:55 It has an engine block heater that's accessible from the outside.
00:59 It also has an integrated bed step ahead of the rear axle which is super helpful.
01:03 No longer do you have steps that hang down low, now you can step right in the bed and
01:07 you don't lose ground clearance.
01:08 There is a fantastic trailering system that uses 7 cameras that have up to 15 different
01:14 views on it.
01:15 You can monitor the trailer tire pressure, the trailer tire heat, maintenance intervals,
01:20 all those things that help you when you're driving and you're towing a trailer.
01:24 Overall Chevy did a great job on this truck.
01:26 We can't wait to drive it some more, get some trailers behind it and see what this truck
01:30 is made of.
