00:00 One of my favorite things are vintage
00:04 jeeps and I found the best one here at
00:06 Competitive Metals booth. I'm telling you
00:08 this is a 1941 pre-war flat grilled
00:12 Willys. Mark Clyde how long has it been
00:14 in the family? This jeep has been in the
00:16 family since the 60s. Pretty darn cool.
00:21 For one of my favorite picks is this killer
00:26 Chevrolet. It started out as a 2001. I'm with
00:30 Jason McNeil from Fiberwerx. They built
00:33 it. He's going to tell us all about it.
00:34 It's got a 2015 cab on it now. It was
00:38 like you mentioned it was a 2000 cab
00:40 that we pretty much took the shell off
00:42 it put a 2015 cab on it put all our
00:45 stuff the Fiberwerx fiberglass on it
00:47 lights and it's got it's a full look
00:50 luxury pre-runner air conditioning. It's
00:53 got leather interior and Mastercraft
00:56 seats, Fox shocks, Baja designs lights on
01:00 it and we're really proud to have it as
01:02 a really clean. It's got paddle shifting
01:04 right on the steering wheel like it like
01:06 if it was a Porsche so it's a it's a fun
01:09 truck to drive. Hi I'm Berne Simons
01:11 Peterson's 4-Wheeler Off-Road Magazine
01:13 4-Wheeler Network. Just notice this what
01:16 looks like a Volkswagen Beetle that's
01:19 all set up for Baja but it's not. Hey I'm
01:23 Greg Cottrell the owner of Rugged Radios and
01:26 we made the coolest Baja RZR ever. We
01:29 took a 2015 Polaris RZR and we turned it
01:32 into an old-school Baja. Man so it's Baja
01:36 in the front, RZR in the back. It's got a
01:39 Boondocker turbo on it so it's fast 200
01:42 horsepower but it's still old-school.
01:44 Check out the old-school KC lights. We've
01:46 got Mexican blanket seats. Hey I wanted
01:49 to I wanted to bring back the early 80s
01:52 and bring back some fun to this industry
01:54 and that's exactly what we did. I'm
01:56 Christian Hazel of 4-Wheeler. I'm here with
01:58 Tony Pellegrino from Genrite and this is
02:00 my favorite product of the show. What? Yeah.
02:03 Anyone who knows me knows vintage
02:07 jeeps are near and dear to my heart and
02:09 Genrite now has a solution to a problem
02:13 that many of them are plagued by. Factory
02:15 under seat fuel tanks for these early
02:18 jeeps rust out. All of them rust out.
02:20 There's aftermarket ones that you can
02:23 replace them with. There's plastic tanks
02:25 that fit okay but they kind of pooch out
02:28 and the filler neck caps never never fit.
02:32 So Genrite now has its super high
02:35 quality line of aluminum replacement
02:37 tanks for early jeeps and as you can see
02:40 the welds are just beautiful and it's
02:42 it's super high quality stuff. I'm really
02:44 excited when I saw it. This is Stuart Bourdon and
02:46 I'm editor of JP Magazine. We're at the
02:49 Off-Road Expo in Pomona, California and I
02:52 think I found what might be my favorite
02:55 new product of the show. I'm gonna have
02:57 Jason Smith tell you a little bit more
02:58 about this great TBM brake kit for JKs.
03:02 Yep this is our JK front and rear brake
03:06 kit. It utilizes a bigger diameter rotor,
03:09 four piston calipers. You're gaining
03:11 about 20% more braking in the front and
03:13 our rear kit gives you about 40% more
03:15 braking in the rear and you're able to
03:17 utilize the the stock OEM emergency
03:19 brake drum setup. So it's a direct bolt-on
03:22 kit. It takes about 30 minutes to
03:25 install front, 30 minutes to install on the
03:26 rear and you get like I said 20% more
03:29 braking in the front and 40% in the rear
03:30 and it's a very cost-effective brake
03:32 upgrade for the JKs.
