00:00 Hello and welcome to ScreenBabble,
00:01 your guide to what to watch.
00:03 We'll be tuning into hours and hours of TV, yes, still,
00:06 so we can tell you what you need to be switching on
00:09 and what's to be avoided.
00:10 I'm your host, Kelly Crichton,
00:11 and this week, Benji, or Benji,
00:14 this week, Stephen is off sunning himself somewhere.
00:17 So I'm pleased to say that Benjamin Jackson
00:19 is back once again to share his thoughts on some new TV.
00:23 Also this week, we are joined by our omnipresent,
00:26 omnipresent, like the Holy Ghost or something,
00:28 omnipresent digital team colleague, Craig Sinclair,
00:32 who looks after the video side of things normally.
00:35 He is here to take on Back to the Future,
00:37 and I'm gonna go and put my teeth in
00:39 and we can start again.
00:40 No, okay.
00:41 So remember, if you want to see our faces,
00:44 you can head over to brand new Freeview channel 276 Shots,
00:47 which is brought to you by a network of journalists
00:48 across the country who are transforming stories
00:50 at the heart of your community into great TV.
00:53 You'll find true crime stories, football news and analysis,
00:56 plus coverage of lifestyle, TV, film, and much more.
00:59 Sister podcast, The Reset Room is on there now too, folks,
01:01 back for a third series,
01:03 and you'll get to see my face in that one again.
01:05 And if you haven't tuned in before,
01:07 each week we'll be chatting about what we're watching
01:08 as we look more closely at a new program or something
01:11 making the headlines in the deep dive.
01:13 This week, Benji is talking to us about Castlevania Nocturne.
01:18 It is Nocturne, not Nocturna, Nocturne, Nocturne.
01:22 - I've been calling it Nocturne,
01:23 so if you're wrong, I'm wrong.
01:26 - Okay, well, let's be wrong together.
01:28 Finally, we go back to the future to tell you
01:31 about a program you may have missed
01:33 when it first aired or streamed.
01:34 This week, Craig tells us about
01:36 sci-fi wheelhouse murder mystery crossover,
01:39 to use your words, Craig,
01:41 Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency.
01:44 It's quite a mouthful. - It's a bit of a mouthful.
01:46 Like, I wasn't gonna come on this show
01:48 and do a sci-fi thing, 'cause everybody who knows me
01:50 will be like, "Oh, Craig's talking about sci-fi."
01:53 And it was literally just as I was going through the spiel
01:57 of what I was gonna talk about,
01:58 I was like going, "There's so many things
02:00 I could have talked about."
02:02 - That's good to know, exactly, next time.
02:05 But first up, we like to talk about
02:06 what we've been watching recently.
02:07 So Benji, you can go first today.
02:09 Tell us what you've been watching.
02:11 - Is it wrong of me to publicly admit
02:13 on shots in the podcast that I've been re-watching
02:16 an absolute deluge of professional wrestling again?
02:19 And the reason being is that-- - Oh, excellent.
02:21 - There's just so much choice available now.
02:25 I mean, I wrote a piece for National World
02:26 about how, what's up?
02:28 - I was gonna say, what genre are we talking about here?
02:32 Like, I would be fairly well read
02:34 with the sort of late '80s, early '90s WWF
02:37 that turned into WWE, that sort of era of wrestling.
02:40 Otherwise, I'm not really that up to speed.
02:43 So what era are you talking about?
02:44 - Are you, you're not a closet wrestling fan by chance,
02:47 are you, Kelly?
02:48 - Oh, I was definitely a wrestling fan back then.
02:50 I don't think I had a choice though.
02:51 Five brothers, so, and we had Sky TV in the house,
02:55 you know, back in the late '80s, early '90s.
02:57 That was literally what was on.
02:59 - That'll do it.
03:00 But no, I'm looking at a, it's modern era wrestling
03:02 because I do think that we're at that point
03:05 in terms of like entertainment,
03:07 that it is gonna be big.
03:10 It's gonna go back to those golden eras
03:12 of like you mentioned, the '90s as well,
03:14 with when you had entities like Stone Cold Steve Austin
03:18 and The Rock that would have that crossover appeal.
03:20 So yeah, I've been watching more of the WWE
03:23 because their storytelling has been fantastic.
03:25 And I wrote a piece that explained
03:28 why I think it's fantastic.
03:29 A lot of people will give me flack
03:32 for watching professional wrestling,
03:33 but I don't have to justify watching Game of Thrones
03:36 and stuff like that, or the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
03:40 So yeah, it's, WWE's probably been the big one
03:43 I've been following. - It's all a story,
03:43 it's all entertainment, isn't it?
03:45 Yeah, it's entertainment.
03:46 It's just entertainment, that's it.
03:48 - And just the nuanced storylines now,
03:50 it's no longer just a case of, ah, I'm a big bad guy,
03:53 I'm gonna beat you up for your title.
03:55 It's now more, ah, I've got a grip
03:57 on the championship belt, but I need to manipulate
04:01 and gaslight everyone around me to fall in line
04:03 so I can retain the title belt.
04:06 So it's really fun, really interesting.
04:09 You get the silly aspects with it,
04:11 you get the kind of nuanced storytelling with it.
04:13 One of the storylines involving a guy called Roman Reigns
04:16 has been going on for like three years now.
04:18 So you kind of get an indication
04:21 how long-term that storytelling is.
04:23 And, oh, nearly every day of the week,
04:26 there is some form of wrestling content to watch
04:29 that it becomes all-consuming.
04:31 So I had the last week off and just catching up
04:35 with everything, getting up to speed with everything.
04:37 And it's not the coolest thing
04:39 some people might think to watch, but it's my cool thing.
04:42 And I've been absolutely enjoying it all over again.
04:45 - And two questions. - And how would you compare
04:48 the like, what's the worst universe?
04:51 Like wrestling or Star Wars,
04:52 where you have to watch everything
04:54 for anything to make sense?
04:55 - Oh, I don't know, man.
04:57 The Marvel Cinematic Universe
04:58 with Loki coming up next week and everything,
05:01 it's kind of getting hard to lasso around all of that.
05:04 - Where do you watch?
05:05 Where do you watch the wrestling?
05:07 What channels, what streaming do you watch it on?
05:09 Or is that a YouTuber?
05:10 - So I watch it on what was formerly BT Sport,
05:14 which I now believe is called TNT Sport.
05:16 They have the license to both WWE's flagship shows,
05:20 Raw and SmackDown.
05:22 But for those that do not have access to Sky,
05:26 there is another promotion called All Elite Wrestling,
05:29 which is quite an upstart popular promotion.
05:32 Not quite on the level as WWE,
05:34 but for those that maybe wanna check something out
05:38 a little bit different than WWE,
05:40 ITV4 have the rights to All Elite Wrestling's
05:44 Dynamite program, which is their flagship show.
05:47 - Sounds like there's lots of stuff though.
05:48 Yeah.
05:49 - It's incredible the amount of wealth.
05:52 The whole rise of streaming services
05:54 and independent companies managing to stream
05:57 has just given birth to a wide range of content.
06:00 So you don't need Sky to watch wrestling,
06:02 but if you wanna watch the big show being WWE,
06:07 then yeah, you would need a subscription to TNT Sport.
06:11 - Okay.
06:13 Okay, cool. Thank you for that.
06:15 Craig, what have you been watching?
06:17 When you were on holidays,
06:18 you've probably not been watching an awful lot, have you?
06:20 - You'd say that.
06:21 I downloaded a whole bunch of stuff and quite naturally,
06:25 I just, my eyes were bigger than my stomach
06:29 and I didn't sort of end up watching it.
06:31 Before we left, me and my girlfriend,
06:34 we were watching Yellow Jackets.
06:36 - Oh yeah. I love the first series.
06:37 I haven't got onto the second series yet
06:39 because I don't have Paramount Plus.
06:40 - We're close to finishing the second season.
06:43 We started watching it because Gitta had sort of read
06:47 about it and then Alex was obviously talking about it on here
06:50 and the premise, I have to admit the premise of it,
06:54 I was like, it's probably not gonna be my thing.
06:57 It smacks.
06:58 - I was like that too.
06:58 I was like that too and loads of people had said to me,
07:00 oh, you should watch it, it's good.
07:01 And I was like, oh God, teenage high school thing.
07:04 - I'll be the first to admit, I am pleasantly happy with it
07:08 and it wasn't what I thought it was gonna be,
07:10 although there are elements of it.
07:11 I thought it was gonna smack of like Lost
07:13 and it was just gonna be another one
07:14 of these never ending stories that doesn't make sense
07:18 or they just backtrack and U-turn on so many storylines.
07:21 - And then there's a whatever.
07:23 - Even worse, like Pretty Little Liars
07:27 where you've just got these two dimensional characters
07:30 who are backstabbing each other in one episode
07:32 and then they're best friends the next so they can do that.
07:35 There was some really weird thing in the second season
07:38 which like where just characters appeared out of nowhere
07:43 and now I'm kind of wanting to go back
07:45 to the first season and be like,
07:47 are the same actors like still in the season
07:50 but now they've just sort of acknowledged
07:52 that they were there?
07:53 It's like, oh, that's weird.
07:53 - Oh, okay, weird, yeah.
07:55 Yeah, no, I think I heard that the second series
07:58 wasn't as good as the first series
07:59 but it's definitely worth continuing.
08:01 Do you know if there's gonna be another?
08:02 - It's got to drag out but I'm persisting with it.
08:05 - Yeah, do you know if there's gonna be another?
08:06 - I heard there's gonna be another.
08:07 - I think it'll be out next year.
08:09 I looked at the IMDB and it said it'll be out next year
08:12 on Amazon Prime.
08:13 - Cool, cool, cool.
08:15 Okay, I have a few things to mention.
08:17 I stumped across a lovely film at the weekend
08:19 and this is a total, I hate the expression chick flick
08:22 but it's like a nice romantic kind of rom-com,
08:25 Donald Gleeson and Rachel McAdams
08:27 and it's based on a novel actually, I'm sure.
08:30 It's called About Time and it's about this.
08:32 - Oh, that's a great film.
08:33 That is really funny.
08:34 - I was just like, you know, sometimes you stumble
08:37 across something, it doesn't happen that often
08:38 and there was just a very funny gag
08:40 in the first like three minutes,
08:42 like laugh out loud stuff, you know?
08:44 And I was like, oh, this is quite nice
08:46 and then ended up like recording it
08:48 and watching it all over the space of a couple of days
08:50 because Channel 5, it stopped for the news in the afternoon.
08:55 The film was split up by the news, which was weird.
08:57 But anyway, that's what I did on my birthday.
09:00 That was the most self satisfying thing I did
09:04 the day of my birthday was watch a really like
09:07 pointless view, you know what I mean?
09:08 Like in the afternoon, that was like the height
09:11 of excitement on my birthday, which is really sad.
09:13 But anyway, so really enjoyed that.
09:15 - Sounds ideal.
09:16 - So Channel 5, I don't know if you can catch up
09:18 on stuff on Channel 5, but if you can,
09:19 it's on there, About Time, it's called.
09:21 Really nice, but a guy who can,
09:23 finds out that he's, the males in his family
09:26 can travel back in time.
09:27 So we see basically, often these travel back in time things
09:31 kind of end badly or something goes really wrong,
09:33 but it's actually just quite a nice film.
09:35 - And it's not like a Doctor Who style time travel
09:39 back to the future where it's all convoluted
09:40 and you've got to make a thing.
09:41 'Cause there's, it's literally like,
09:43 - Not so far. - It's so funny
09:44 the way he time travels as well.
09:45 He can only do it when he's in a cupboard, right?
09:47 - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - He can only put
09:48 the cupboard and he just goes,
09:49 and he walks out the cupboard and he's back in time.
09:51 - Yeah, yeah, so anyway, look, it's nice.
09:53 It's an easy watch.
09:54 The other thing I watched this week,
09:55 which is absolutely brilliant,
09:58 is a new German series on Netflix called "Dear Child".
10:03 Have you heard about this?
10:04 - I've heard about it. - No.
10:06 - Yeah, it's so good.
10:08 My brother put me onto it actually.
10:10 It is essentially, what I could compare it to
10:12 is probably like, how good thrillers used to be.
10:15 Like there's just a really strong storyline.
10:19 And at the end of every episode,
10:21 you want to watch the next episode.
10:22 Like, it's like, oh my God, what is going on here?
10:25 You're trying to get your head around the story.
10:27 There isn't like big cliffhangers at the end of an episode,
10:29 but you're just like highly intrigued the whole time.
10:32 So it starts with, oh, if I can remember now, six episodes.
10:36 It starts with a woman being knocked down
10:41 and she's in her a nightie
10:43 and there's a little girl there as well.
10:45 And it's like, what is going on here?
10:47 And then it sort of, it jumps like that.
10:51 It jumps forward and back in time as well.
10:52 And it turns out she's been held captive
10:55 and there's another child.
10:56 And it goes from there basically, right?
10:59 But it is really one of the best things
11:01 I've watched in a long time.
11:03 You can watch it obviously dubbed
11:05 or you can watch it with subtitles.
11:07 We kind of just accidentally started watching it dubbed,
11:10 which I hate normally.
11:11 I hate the disconnect between the person and the voice,
11:14 you know, and usually it's just bad.
11:18 But the last episode we watched subtitles
11:20 and I think I did enjoy it more
11:22 because they feel like more like real people
11:24 when it's their voice you're hearing, the actors.
11:26 But anyway, so yeah, what else can I say about it?
11:31 It's just really, really good.
11:32 It's six parts, hour long, and it's just intriguing
11:35 and you know, satisfying ending.
11:38 And at quite a few points in it, you kind of go, oh yeah.
11:42 Like the thing you saw before makes sense now.
11:45 And you're like, remember that thing?
11:46 And so it's very well written
11:49 and it's very well put together.
11:50 - Do you think it's got the legs
11:53 to sort of carry on that cleverness,
11:55 the written if it went to a second season?
11:58 - No, definitely not.
11:59 It's a one and done.
12:00 It's just, it's rock. - Oh right, that's good.
12:02 I quite like that.
12:03 - Yeah, it's a story.
12:04 It's a single story.
12:05 Now they could pick up with the cop maybe.
12:07 There's a female cop character who's quite likable,
12:11 like a serious character, but she is quite likable,
12:14 you know, so they could do something with her.
12:16 But I just have a feeling, it was more like a film
12:18 if you know what I mean, than a TV series in many ways.
12:22 So that's that.
12:23 And then the two other things I want to mention
12:24 really quickly are,
12:25 Strictly was back this weekend for Strictly fans.
12:28 - And what are the guests like?
12:30 I think the guests are like, what weekend?
12:34 So it's what draws me in.
12:35 Like Bill Bailey was what drew me in last year.
12:38 - So the Irish rugby match was on at the same time.
12:40 So I didn't really watch an awful lot of Strictly.
12:42 I was just kind of bouncing over my mouth back.
12:45 Angela Rippon was doing some amazing moves for her age.
12:48 She did this sort of standing splits,
12:51 which was unbelievable.
12:52 And yeah, there's a few, I don't know who's the,
12:57 Nigel thingy who was in EastEnders years ago.
13:00 I can't remember his surname, Herman?
13:01 - Nigel Harmon. - No he wasn't Dirty Dane,
13:02 he was Dane, he was Young Dane.
13:04 - Dane, no, Dane was his dad, wasn't he?
13:07 Right, yeah. - Yes, yeah, yeah.
13:09 And it's Bobby Brazier, who was Jay Goody's son,
13:13 and Jeff Brazier's son, he's from EastEnders.
13:15 He's in it as well.
13:16 And he's sort of like the young, gorgeous thing
13:18 he's, you know, there's kind of,
13:21 they kind of have similar lineup every year, don't they?
13:24 Have sort of like a mix of young and older and,
13:27 but anyway, I can't, it doesn't even spring to mind,
13:30 like few more actors and yeah,
13:34 I don't know who the comic act is as of yet.
13:37 As I say, I didn't see it all,
13:38 but week one is always a bit like,
13:41 oh God, they're not doing, they're not great, are they?
13:43 Always, everybody's speaking so.
13:44 - No, there's nothing, I don't think there's anything
13:46 on the line normally in the first week.
13:48 So you've got the opportunity to like catch up.
13:51 But have you got any early predictions, Kelly,
13:53 for Strictly winner?
13:55 Or is it way too early?
13:56 - I think that Bobby Brazier is gonna do well
14:00 'cause he's just gorgeous.
14:02 And he's got, he just won the Rising Star
14:06 and the soap awards and the TV awards.
14:07 And he's just everywhere.
14:09 So I would definitely think he's gonna go far.
14:12 But there, Nigel as well, he did really well.
14:15 He did like a Paso Doble and he was smashing it
14:17 and he's so sexy as well.
14:18 And they're the people that do well, you know what I mean?
14:20 So, but speaking of, and it's the autumn/winter
14:23 comfort watch, isn't it, Strictly for a lot of people.
14:25 I've never watched a whole series of it, but.
14:27 - It's the lead up to Christmas for me.
14:29 - It is.
14:29 And the other thing that is the absolute hug,
14:33 TV hug in autumn, Bake Off.
14:36 Great British Bake Off started last night.
14:38 And I have to say, I quite like the lineup
14:40 of contestants this year.
14:42 Alison Hammond has joined the lineup of hosts.
14:45 - She's really funny.
14:46 When I saw that in the trailer,
14:47 I was like, "Oh, I gotta watch it for her."
14:50 - She's chaotic sometimes, but she's funny.
14:52 And she brings a different element to it.
14:53 It's been quite sort of, you know,
14:55 Matt Lucas and Noel are very kind of like
14:57 clever comedians saying clever things
15:00 and slightly obscure things and that.
15:01 Whereas I think Alison's gonna bring it
15:03 to a different level, you know,
15:04 and a little bit more casual and a little bit more giddy
15:07 and sort of, yeah, whatever kind of thing, go with the flow.
15:10 So there was a couple of laugh out loud moments last night
15:13 where Prue was asking somebody about the beaver cake
15:15 they'd made, et cetera.
15:16 But you know, they love an old double entendre.
15:19 So there you go.
15:21 My God, the whole podcast is nearly over.
15:23 We better bash on, but it's just,
15:24 there's tons of TV, isn't there?
15:25 It's autumn, we're launching into TV season.
15:29 Okay, thank God for it.
15:31 Right, Benji, you are gonna talk to us.
15:34 You have taken on the pressurized role
15:36 of chief reviewer and critic this week.
15:39 You're gonna talk to us about brand new
15:40 dark fantasy anime coming to Netflix.
15:44 - Yeah, I mean-- - Castlevania Nocturne.
15:46 - I mean, thankfully it is a property
15:48 that I'm familiar with being a massive gaming nerd,
15:52 to be honest with you.
15:53 So I think Castlevania Nocturne picks up
15:56 where the original Castlevania animated series
16:00 that started on Netflix in 2017 left off.
16:04 On this occasion, we're looking at another member
16:07 of the Belmont vampire slaying clan.
16:11 In this case, it's a chap by the name of Richter,
16:15 rather than Trevor from the last one.
16:17 And on this occasion, the scene is the French Revolution
16:22 where Richter has to go and meet up with,
16:27 you know, the usual case of odd kind of group members
16:30 that really shouldn't get together,
16:32 but for the greater good, they do all come together
16:35 to battle off the vampires, monsters,
16:38 you know, the whole armada you would get.
16:41 And I'm biased because I used to play the games
16:45 that they were based on, which was 1996's
16:48 Castlevania Rondo of Blood, 1997 Castlevania
16:52 Symphony of the Night.
16:53 The animation is just, I absolutely think Netflix
16:59 have absolutely nailed the aesthetic
17:02 when it comes to their animated series.
17:05 The voice cast is perhaps not as prominent
17:08 as the original Castlevania.
17:11 Like we will spoil it for choice with like Bill Nighy
17:14 providing some of the voices in the last Castlevania.
17:17 - He was in that film.
17:18 He was in that Baltimore.
17:19 - He was in the same film.
17:20 - He was in the same film.
17:21 - Yeah.
17:21 - He was in his dad, wasn't he?
17:22 Yeah.
17:23 - No, he gets about that guy, doesn't he?
17:25 But we do have Nastassia Kinski,
17:29 daughter of the infamous Klaus Kinski doing a voice.
17:33 We also have as the main voice of Richter Belmont,
17:38 Edward Blue Mell, who many might remember
17:40 from BBC's Killing Eve.
17:42 Pixie Davies.
17:43 - Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
17:44 - Yeah, yeah.
17:45 - Where is it produced?
17:46 Is it produced in the UK, Benji?
17:48 Or where is it being made?
17:49 - No, no, it's for a United States based title.
17:53 There is a big British contingent involved.
17:55 It was created by,
17:57 it was written and created by Clive Bradley,
18:01 who himself is a British playwright who was involved in,
18:06 pause for a minute.
18:09 Yeah, he was, worked for Last Rites on Channel 4.
18:14 He directed a show, a horror movie back in 2007,
18:19 called, I think it was pronounced,
18:20 Was, starring Selma Blair.
18:23 So yeah, for a US based production,
18:26 there is a heavy British contingent involved.
18:29 Now, for my anime nerds out there
18:32 that might wanna draw a comparison,
18:35 there was back in the day when anime had that first surge,
18:39 we talked about when I was last on with Akira,
18:42 there was a title called Vampire Hunter D.
18:44 So if you're familiar with Vampire Hunter D,
18:47 or you're familiar with the Castlevania game series,
18:50 it is for you.
18:51 But to be honest with you, Kelly,
18:52 and to be honest with you, Craig,
18:54 even if you have a cursory interest
18:56 in the whole vampire slaying genre,
18:59 and you really like luscious animated series,
19:03 it's brilliant.
19:05 It comes out on the 28th, 8 a.m. to be precise.
19:10 That's how adamant I am about it.
19:12 And it's just absolutely brilliant.
19:15 You talk about the awesome feeling,
19:17 if you want something a little bit chilling and unnerving,
19:19 but a lot of fun, and you're a fan of animated series.
19:24 - That was great.
19:25 Thank you, Benji.
19:25 You did a smashing job there in the deep dive.
19:27 Craig, over to you now to talk about
19:28 Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency.
19:31 We're going back to the future.
19:33 - It is something that is not disappointing.
19:35 It is such a good, fun romp.
19:39 - Two series, wasn't it?
19:42 - Two seasons on Netflix.
19:44 And it was one of their Netflix originals back in 2016,
19:49 and it was very high production value.
19:52 Big sort of cast as well, it stars Samuel Barnett,
19:56 you might remember from "History Boys."
19:57 When I looked up his IMDb,
19:58 he's got a lot of sort of voice acting behind him,
20:01 and I think that comes across in his performance
20:04 as Dirk Gently.
20:05 He's just very animated.
20:08 And basically the whole premise of the story
20:10 is Elijah Wood.
20:13 It's just sort of your everyday guy.
20:16 - He's a psychic guy, isn't he?
20:19 - He's just an everyday sort of guy doing his job,
20:22 and then he just sort of notices
20:23 really weird things happening one day.
20:26 He's sort of down in his lackeys,
20:28 over during the rent and stuff,
20:29 and he sort of just notices weird little things
20:32 happening to him that sort of eventually escalate
20:34 to the end of the day,
20:35 it's like, "Oh, what the hell's just happened here?"
20:37 And he collides with Dirk Gently,
20:40 who explains himself as a holistic detective.
20:44 Well, what's a holistic detective?
20:45 It's like, well, the universe just sort of
20:48 navigates me to where I need to be,
20:51 and wherever the universe sends me,
20:54 I will find a clue that will eventually lead me
20:56 to the next clue where the universe will send me.
20:59 So he just kind of wanders through life,
21:02 hoping that everything is a clue,
21:04 and everything, and wherever,
21:05 and the weird thing is,
21:07 Dirk Gently's more the psychic here,
21:11 and they often say he is a psychic.
21:13 It's just like, no matter where he ends up,
21:16 he just happens to find a clue
21:17 that leads to something else,
21:18 and by the end of it, it's piece of metal.
21:20 So I picked this because I thought,
21:22 oh, Kelly likes a good sort of murder mystery,
21:24 and first season's a big murder mystery,
21:27 and sci-fi's more my wheelhouse,
21:31 so I didn't want to do anything sci-fi,
21:33 but it's something that I remember watching recently.
21:36 - It feels like "Quantum Leap" meets
21:39 "Only Murders in the Building" meets--
21:43 - "Doctor Who," yeah.
21:44 - "Doctor Who." - It's literally that.
21:45 - And then that other thing that was on recently,
21:48 I can't remember the name of, oh God,
21:50 with that girl that was in "Orange is the New Black,"
21:52 and she, remember we talked about it quite a lot,
21:54 it was, she was like that on the run,
21:57 and she'd get a clue, and she'd end up solving a thing,
21:59 and then moving on, and I was comparing it
22:00 to the murder she wrote.
22:01 - "Poker Face"?
22:02 - "Poker Face," Gambler, I was about to say.
22:05 - Yeah, with Natasha Lyonne.
22:06 Yeah.
22:07 - Natasha Lyonne, that's it, exactly.
22:09 Thank you, you were like--
22:10 - That's okay.
22:11 - So it's a very good, fun watch.
22:13 Each episode's about an hour long.
22:15 I think each season's about eight episodes
22:19 or something like that, and it just gets crazier
22:22 and crazier from one episode to the next.
22:24 It usually has a couple of guest stars,
22:27 Julian McMahon, who played Dr. Von Doom,
22:31 and Cole in "Charmed," which is another great throwback.
22:35 - Oh yeah, oh God.
22:37 - He's in it.
22:38 - Okay, brilliant, wow, okay, lots of stuff there,
22:40 lots of references, I think that might be
22:42 hitting our reference--
22:43 - More importantly, from my point of view,
22:44 how are we doing for time?
22:45 (laughing)
22:46 - Yeah, you're doing a long edit.
22:48 You're doing a long edit today, Craig, sorry.
22:50 Okay, thank you both of you for joining me this week,
