Hollywood strike: Writers relieved after agreement announced

Striking American film writers have reached a deal with studios, possibly ending their strike after almost five months. They demanded improved pay, increased rewards for successful shows, and AI protection. This could also pave the way for actors, who went on strike in July, to resolve their issues with studios. The strike has greatly hurt California's economy due to halted film and TV production.
